While the box is fairly large,perhaps having smaller (yet more frequent) groups would allow the coaches to have a possibility to look after each athlete more carefully,ensuring the movement is correct and there's no risk of injury. With nearly 20 people on class that's virtually impossible... Another thing I missed-no cool-down after WOD..? My body is still hyper sensitive 3 days after the workout,whereas in my former club the whole group would do some mobility/stretching excercises in the end,to avoid sore muscles the day after. Sure,you get some time prior to the next class,to stay and stretch by yourself,but doing it all together with some supervision would surely benefit everyone. Last but not least-I find that it's important to ensure tidyness and cleanliness by providing some antibacterial spray and wiping cloths,to clean the weights after each person has used it for working out. I didn't notice any,whereas elsewhere we'd be forced into numerous burpees if someone would forget to clean after himself/herself. And yes,finally,the prices-we all know Crossfit isn't cheap,but anything beyond 200$ and still limiting you to 4 times per week? Or 300+ for unlimited membership,still binding you for at least 1 year? Thank you,but I'll have to look elsewhere...

The facility is very clear and the equipment is in pristine condition. The membership fees are very reasonable and there aren't any long term commitments. Everyone that attends a class is serious about health and wellness; therefore, you won't see any women in full make-up or guys standing around talking. It's no-nonsense however, everyone is extremely nice. I would recommend everyone to attend at least one class, then you'll be hooked.

As someone who's always been passionate about health and comes from an athletic background, I was…read morehonestly pretty skeptical of trainers and gyms. I never loved the idea of someone hovering over me one-on-one while I struggled to lift 50 pounds over my head. That's exactly why Rebel's semi-private training model has worked so well for me. Typically, there's one trainer working with about 3-5 people, which creates the perfect balance of guidance, independence, and motivation. Some days it even turns into a one-on-one session depending on attendance -- but even then, it never feels like the awkward, overly intense private training I've experienced elsewhere. If you want constant hovering, Rebel may not be your thing (though they do offer private sessions). But if you're skeptical of gyms or trainers and want a smart, supportive middle ground, this place is incredible. What really keeps me coming back is how every single session is different. I've been training here for over a year and I've never repeated the same workout. The creativity and thought behind the programming is impressive and keeps me motivated to stay consistent and continue building strength. Kevin has been phenomenal. He somehow knows exactly what my body needs -- it's almost telepathic. Whether it's addressing weaknesses, building strength, or adapting to how I'm feeling that day, he's always spot-on. Recently, I pulled my back doing something as simple as bending over to put something in my daughter's backpack, and I knew a Rebel session would help loosen things up and get me back on track (and prevent that dreaded "about to sneeze" back pain ). I also really appreciate how respectful they are of time. I can say, "Kevin, I've only got 40 minutes," and he'll say, "Perfect -- let's go," get me out in 30, and I feel just as good as I would after an hour session. That flexibility is huge. Thank you, Rebel, for keeping me motivated, strong, and consistent -- even with an erratic schedule. You're truly amazing.

Gave SLT a shot while visiting my in laws for Fourth of July, because I do Pilates…read morefor cross training 3-4 times a week and wanted to stay consistent while on vacation for a few days. I had done two Lagree classes prior to trying SLT as well as a Solidcore class at one of their LA studios. I opted for SLT this time only because they had a 2/$40 intro deal which was a little more cost effective than paying the drop in rate at the Solidcore studio nearby. I showed up for my first of two classes, and the reception girl was nice and gave me a refresher on the megaformer but warned me "you'll be lost and that's okay". She actually advised me to "copy others" if that became the case. That should have been my sign to leave, as Lagree and Pilates are both about having proper form, not just "copying" another participant which can lead to injury. If your cueing is that bad where participants are "lost," perhaps you shouldn't market it as an "all levels" class. Then I find out the instructor I had signed up for was switched to Farah, which should have been my second sign to leave. Dang, was she is rough. And not in a good way. She's forceful, impatient, and comes off very pompous. She actually had us hold movements to a beat at one point, like what? You're supposed to count at a steady pace; what instructor worth their salt coordinates the movements to their playlist? I spent the first 20 minutes debating on whether I should just walk out before I decided to ignore her vibe and just sweat it out. Instead of leaving empowered to take on my day, I left demoralized and disappointed. Then I took Alexandra's class on my second of two visits, and it was night and day. She's truly the only reason I'm giving SLT 3 stars and not 1. She was the saving grace, as she offered fantastic cues and did good demonstrations that were easy to follow. If I'm "copying" anyone, it should be the trained instructor. Alexandra was also attentive to everyone and offered gentle corrections when needed. She was courteous and asked if I'm okay with hands-on corrections, which I appreciated as well. I thanked her for turning my experience at SLT around and left her class feeling strong and inspired. Can't say I'd ever go back to SLT though. I prefer studios that are a bit more professional and prioritize safety and form. Since those two classes, I racked up 6 more Lagree classes in California on top of my normal Pilates routine. Yet to have any experience get close to rivaling the awful class I had with Farah, and I vow to walk out of any instructor's class that times a movement to "when the beat drops."

The owner did a nice job of showing me the machine and explaining aaaalllllll the parts pieces and accessories... I teach on a traditional reformer and this was an ENTIRELY different ball game !! The coach was very good at constantly coming up to me and correcting form and pointing out when I wasn't listening/ understanding cues correctly- even your BRAIN needs to be turned on and ready to listen cause it's ALOT ! Parking in complex…read more I do appreciate the 4:55 early morning classes. It either allows me to get a workout in before work or before kids have school. I have only taken one Coach but I'm a creature of habit -- I appreciate seeing Denise workout with us. It gives motivation that she's doing it not just coaching like other places I have gone to. You see the coaches put in the work and it encourages you to come back. Overall, love the vibe of this studio. Love coming back to it! Definitely check it out
