A few of my girlfriends tried the BSK location, then some of my daughter's friends moms wanted to try as well. We came 15mins before class (as advised) so we can get a tour of place and how things run before taking class. They have bathrooms (with a shower) coat racks and lockers to place your belongings while in class. The staff and coaches were very friendly! We've had the pleasure of taking almost all the coaches and every class is different, every coach style is unique but they give you the individualized attention and motivation you need during class. The first class was an intense workout but I ended up taking advantage of their first month $99 promotion and plan on continuing. I love the way I feel especially after each class knowing that I was able to accomplish it, from the "assault" bike to the ski mill, ski erg to the erg rowing machine. I live for the community - the camaraderie feel. It gives me the Orange Theory meets CrossFit vibe. 100% give it a try, you will feel as if they rocked your world after the class but I can guarantee you- you will be back. My fiancé and I, in our last-ditch efforts to turbocharge our workout routine, decided to check out a "Hollywood" class at F45, taking advantage of their introductory class offering. Within the first 10 minutes of class, we shared collective feelings like: "What the $&@! did we get ourselves into?!"... and, "My body doesn't move that way!"... etc., etc. But after attending a few classes a week for the last few weeks, I will 100% say that this class kicks your butt in the best way possible. Physically, I'm starting to see and feel a difference. Its forcing me to be a bit more conscious about my eating habits too (there's only so much stuff you want jiggling inside your stomach at 6am!). Instructors Shauna, JoJo and Daniel are great people and awesome coaches. The workouts are high-intensity and demanding at times, but man -- do they work you out. Using the app for scheduling is easy enough, and they just started a new checking system that makes it more integrated and streamlined. Add in some great tunes and high fives during class, and I wasn't expecting to like this place so much.

Lake Hopatcong is totally no nonsense. Old school weights and equipment. A bit snug if it is a little crowded but gets the job done. No real locker room and no showers. Rockaway is the largest of the three. A bit newer equipment and more spread out. This is the location I visit the most as I go after work, never feel cramped in there. No formal locker room, but there are lockers on the main floor. There are 3 changing rooms and 1 shower room... I can't imagine that being a bit hectic for the before work crowd. Stanhope is the newest location. a bit smalller than Rockaway, but a nice layout. All newer equipment, clean, nice layout. Only been there a handful of times. This location has a formal locker room, with separate changing room and 3 shower stalls in the mens locker room. Cant speak for the womens locker room. Overall, Stanhope is a very nice spot. My only gripe, and it is with all 3 locations are the treadmills. Lake Hopatcong, can barely get them to operate. Rockaway, 1 is broken, 1 has a deck that isn't level and is broken, the rest are ok. Stanhope has the newest ones, but of the 8, 5 had slipping belts that make it dangerous to walk on, let alone try to run or jog, one is super noisy. I get it, these gyms are geared more towards lifting weights and body building, not oblivious to that. A day of maintenance on the treadmills would get 5 stars. Aside from the treadmills, I really like all 3 locations.

I always felt comfortable (and still do) being at this gym. It is always clean as well! :) there are bathrooms with a shower if you need them. Something I love about F45 is that the coaches are knowledgeable and really challenge me to improve, even when I need to modify exercises. I have never been much of a self-motivator when it comes to fitness, so this is a big plus for me. There are cardio days, strength days, and combo days - you can pick and choose which days work for you. I have really seen a difference in my fitness and my confidence since joining F45. When I walked in, there was no assessment, no questions asked - I was simply added to a group. It turned out that this was too strenuous for me. In fact, when I was pulling the sled, I fell backwards as the weight was too much and hurt myself. No one noticed or seemed to ask me if I was OK. I decided not to return. I asked for a refund after remembering that I had purchased the five-pack but was told by Lucas Cittone that there were no refunds and my five-pack had expired. I've since joined Orange Theory and it's a much better fit for me.
