Member since August 1, 2024…read more Pros: Reasonable price for 24/7 access. Decent variety of classes. Two restrooms with showers available. Cons: The studio and individual pods were frequently unclean, with hair and dust visible. The shower was more often dirty than clean. Most importantly, two critical contract terms were never disclosed at sign-up. First, you cannot cancel before completing five months, yet staff told me cancellation was possible at any time. Second, after one year and nine months of membership, when I submitted a cancellation request with a doctor's recommendation, I was informed that two additional months of payment are required regardless of whether you continue attending. Regarding the workout system itself: the videos offer three difficulty levels and often include form explanations, which is a plus. However, in roughly half the cases the instructor's verbal cues contradict what they are actually doing on screen. For example, instructions about parallel hips, spinal alignment, or proper squat depth are frequently ignored by the demonstrators themselves. Someone following visually without a background in yoga or fitness training would easily pick up incorrect form without realizing it. Poor alignment can ultimately cause more harm than the exercise does good.

First, I was charged over $250 for what was supposed to be a "trial month," which felt extremely misleading. I canceled immediately after realizing how disappointing the experience was. The facility itself felt unsanitary and very poorly maintained. On top of that, the owner came across as extremely judgmental and unprofessional, which made the whole experience even worse. Also, calling this place a "gym" feels misleading. It's basically small sauna boxes where you try to exercise in extreme heat. Instead of feeling like a good workout, it felt uncomfortable and difficult to even breathe while trying to move. It's not motivating at all. The heat is so intense that it even fries your hair if you're not careful. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a real gym or a positive fitness environment.

It is all because of great coaches. Ravi, Scott and Joe are very knowledgeable and patient. It is not important for them, if you PR today, the most important thing is to do it properly. I have been doing crossfit for a while, and only after switching to this gym I finally got better at my front squats and split jerks! They help you to correct every mistake you make, know plenty of exercises to work on any muscle group, they can scale any movement and still make you get a great workout, even if you are tapering or recovering. Another thing I love about this gym is how great people are here. Everybody is very friendly, they treat you like a good friend. Working out here is fun, but challenging. If you want to get in shape, fix your nutrition, meet a lot of cool people, get a sense of community, grow to become a better athlete, tackle your first crossfit or running competition - you will get it all at Cascadia Strength.

My reason for not signing my kids up, because $25/class is $100 a week for two kids a week. Which is $400/month. Which is a car payment. Nonetheless, my son's baseball schedule actually doesn't allow us to to any consistent training because the game days and times change each week. I really liked the LOW pressure approach to check it out for free and think about it. I never felt harassed or aggravated by "aggressive sales people." My daughter, who is extremely social and normally confident, was VERY nervous to be in the "check it out" session. They are both (my son and daughter,) "Rookie" aged and therefore did the same introductory class. Coach D was running the class. I was impressed because I had been training at a professional training facility with a trainer and Coach D was running the kids through what I had done doe warmups. He didn't let them give up and gently pushed. My daughter was feeling frustrated and told him that she felt like she wasn't doing as well as the other kids. And she felt weird as the only girl there. He told her that at D1, there are no girls or boy, just athletes. And she was doing better and picking it up quicker than most boys do. I had honestly not thought she would be interested in doing it at all, she just tagged along since we didn't have school and we're out running errands. But she was REALLY pumped up. She was stronger than age realized and really enjoyed it. She often feels super intimidated by new things but after completing it gets very excited. I love that she felt challenged, accepted and that she really wanted to go back. If we could get her alone there and make it worthwhile financially I think it would be so good for her. Maybe later. See y'all maybe this summer.

My kids started attending D1 as an extra way to stay fit and to push themselves. Their ages have…read morethem in separate classes suitable for them and engaging for them and their peers.
