I would not use this company. During the install of the new roof by Crossover's contract installers damage was done to our gutters. After numerous calls to Crossover they refuse to correct the damage. Now they don't even answer or return my calls. Please keep in mind the people that install these roofs for Crossover are not employees of Crossover but independent contractors. read more

Had my roof replaced about 5 yrs ago with this company..NOTHING but trouble out of roof from day 1...leaks after leaks..1 leak was "repaired " 3 times..got another bad leak a couple weeks ago..got a private contractor to come look at it....he took pic of my roof...and it's a joke!I guess since I'm a woman...and not able to climb up on roof to check it out they thought they could just do any old way and it would be ok..well..this is my home...and with whats going on up there...there's no telling what kind of damage on the inside and how much it will cost to repair...some companies just don't take pride in their work..they just don't care as long as they get that money and satisfy the customer for the moment.....looking into avenues I can take on this company.... ..DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE! unless...u don't care about ur home! read more

I got my roofing done by Mary Jane and her team at Crossover Roofing about six months ago. Honestly, I can say that they are the best roofers that I have ever worked with. They are such a great company. Not only are they highly skilled , but their customer service and flexibility were such a huge help to us. The price we paid for the work was also more than fair. We live in a townhome community in Guildford County that was impacted by a tornado in mid-March 2021. Our Homeowners Association and Property Management Company are truly horrid and so many homeowners were fuming when the HOA told homeowners that we *had to* use the contractor of the HOA's choice to repair the roofs and home exteriors that homeowners are financially responsible for. "Or else". The HOA had positioned themself to be the middle-man & control the project and homeowner billing but Crossover stepped up at our HOA Meeting and said "Homeowners should work directly with us". It turns out Crossover is the ONLY good thing the HOA has ever done for the Community. And we don't think they did it on purpose... Mary Jane is the company's owner. She was very well spoken, professional, friendly, reassuring, at the HOA Meeting and answered all homeowner's questions. She gave us all her mobile number an email. She offered free tarping to homes still in need. Then Crossover arrived bright and early one morning and spent the day in the community and inspected each individual unit and supplied each homeowner with an estimate and answered questions - employees sure were easy to spot with their bright orange shirts! We had 2 licensed roofers come to our home for quotes prior to Crossover being contracted by the HOA. Crossover's quote on our roof repair was right on the nose, so, yay! Our roof looked like it had minor damage with just a handful of shingles missing but it rained one night and water started coming in right over a bunch of electrical - ugh! We contacted Mary Jane well past normal business hours and got a super fast response. A crew arrived at our home the next morning, 1st thing. They were wearing masks (Covid-19 protocol) when they came to the door and were respectful of the property - when they finished repairing the roof they cleaned up the yard front, side, back. Very nice warranty on the repair performed. Plenty of payment options - we chose to call the office and pay with a credit card. The office staff was very pleasant. I've watched Crossover crews work on homes around me and I've seen them lay tarps down around the homes to catch most of the debris. I've seen employees walking the community picking up debris that was blown by the wind as they worked. Roofing is messy business and even more so with the weather we've been having! I highly recommend Crossover. Great communication & customer service. Very respectful of the property they are working on. Competitive pricing. read more

In 2020 I began My nightmare with this company. First off Mary Welborn is not a roofer. Nor does she understand basic roofing terminology. She outsources all of her work to the lowest possible bidder. The first team that showed up and put the first roof on were a joke. They left beer bottles and human feces all over the yard along with the screws and nails they promised to pick up. The roof immediately started leaking as Mary tried to play it off like everything was fine. It was like pulling teeth to get her to correct the work but I hadn't payed yet. GET YOUR ROOF INSPECTED BEFORE YOU PAY A DIME. They cut every possible corner. The second team led by a guy named Eric (no last name according to Mary). He replaces the new leaking Standing Seam Metal roof (supposed to last 50 years) with a new one held together by metal rivets that will only last 5 years. 2-1/2 years in the rivets started rusting and going loose so I asked her to fix it, as I can see water getting into my kitchen ceiling. After trying to explain to Mary in detail that the rivets he used on my 50 year roof would only last FIVE years, her employees laughed at me, while she accused me of talking to her like a child. Sadly this is how she treats you after you pay. My mistake. she charged me over 20K for the roof that less that 3 years later requires just as much to fix. I cam home from work on the day (5pm) of the replacement thinking that they would still be lingering, they had completed the install by 1pm. This place is not good, not even bad, but HORRIBLE!! Here is what we experienced. First of all, their "project manager" lost his ladder on the way to inspect our roof. So he said he had another way to measure it using satellite and we told him there were multiple layers. Despite all this we gave them the job and did we regret it. It was scheduled to be done over labor day weekend and it should take 2 days. They showed up Saturday and starting tearing off the old roof. We were told by the PM (project manager) there was a rotted board which needed replaced he told us what size to buy so we could paint it in advance and they could replace it. We did this and told the workers which just looked at us and went about there business. Half way through the day our solar tubes starting falling out of the ceiling and crashing into our dinning room and living room. I called the office for the company because we didn't have anyone on site who cared or knew what to do. I finally got the owners number and called her. I left a message telling her, that her crew was destroying our house and please have someone call me. I got a text back quote "Sorry, I can't talk right now". This is the owner of the company who obviously DOES NOT CARE. Eventually I was told someone would come out and fix the solar tubes but months went by and no one ever showed up. I eventually had to do it and was laid up for weeks after crawling around in my attic trying to reattach them. Mind you we never saw the PM after the initial day. He never once showed up while work was going on. Day one and two ends and they haven't finished the tear off. They tried telling us it was because the roof was too big and had two layers which they were responsible for determining the size and we told the PM it had 2 layers. So I am told they will be back 7AM on Labor day so I get up at 6:45 AM to move cars then I get a call at 7:15AM telling me they won't be out because it is a holiday and the dumps are closed. Don't you think someone would know this if they had been in the business and knew what was going on? So they show back up on Tuesday. Eventually they finished the job and the board we were told to get by the PM was the wrong size. And when they did finish they just knocked on the door said we are leaving. No walk around, no discussion of concerns, no nothing from these people. And to make this long story longer. We moved from that house and the realtor I had was looking for a company to use for the roof inspection and guess who he called? Yup, these people so he had it scheduled for one day during due diligence and they didn't show, rescheduled and they didn't show, tried one more time and they didn't show. We had to get someone else because my due diligence period was ending. Bottom line this company has poor communication, poor performance, and poor management. Hire them at your own risk read more
