We recently switched to this office and I'm so glad we did! Everyone from the front desk, the hygienist, the assistant and the doctor are all professional and do their jobs well. We had some Cavities filled and the doctor did an excellent job working quickly but without rushing her work and explaining things well as she worked. Esmerelda the name that haunts me. I was forever scared by what she did to my beautiful teeth. I went into have a cleaning and was persuaded to have x rays, which I reluctantly did. (If there is not a problem don't fix it) Low and behold "I had cavities." I am NOT one to ever have cavities. I am 47 years and had healthy tight teeth that did not catch food in them. I trust that I did though but it didn't feel right. She went to work on me with her drill. She was all over the place grinding away so deep and left me giant gaps through out my back teeth. I was horrified how fast and careless she was going. I have had pain ever since and non stop problems with food getting caught in my teeth. I called because my daughter needed her 2 bottom teeth extracted. Alma was able to get us seen quickly. My daughter went in to meet the staff because she was afraid and everyone was so great with her. She got her X-rays and a dental cleaning and did fabulous. Another great visit to Crossroads Dental Group. The staff is fantastic. The Dr. Is great. She is not only a great dentist but very funny and wonderful with children. Julia is an angel and she helps a child to feel comfortable and makes a visit to the dentist a great experience. Everyone on the staff is friendly. Unfortunately, I don't know the hygienist name but he is so calm and comforting which is nice when you are a nervous person. I would highly recommend this office. One of the best things about the office is that if you have to have a crown they are made there. My grandson had a crown replacement and his orthodontist said it was one of the best looking crowns he has ever seen. I took him in at 2:30 and he had his crown at 3:30. There was not a two to three week wait that you usually have at other dental offices. You could not tell which tooth was the crown when the dentist finished with it. read more

I love this dentist office! Had another great visit today. The ladies at this dental group are outstanding. I have very high anxiety at the dentist. I have had bad dental anxiety my whole life. Cross roads is the first dentist I have been to that makes me feel comforatable. They understand my issues and do everything they can to help me feel calm.From Rosa at the front desk who is always friendly and warm, to the amazing Julia who is the sweetest person ever! Do not recommend this place , the dentist tries to do everything really fast doesnt take their time I went there and the dentist fixed a cavity that i had on my tooth and ended up creating a pocket or food trap between my tooth could not even get the floss thru to clean it . Charged me like 800 dollars and a few months later i had to pay even more cause i got an infection on my gum . I do not recommend this dentist . While the people here are mostly kind and personable I wasnt happy with the work done here. I came here for a cleaning because they had a new patient promo and it was half of my usual dentists price. They did xrays and convinced me I had REALLY bad cavities that needed to be taken care of right away. They offered a payment plan which was actually just me applying for a credit line through care credit. Over $2000 worth of work later and 3 trips, 2 for fillings, 1 for filling filing because my retainers didnt fit correctly, I am left feeling unimpressed and overpriced for the care I received. While the dentists are FAST at fillings, the devices they use (wrap around your teeth with metal pieces when doing fillings and use wedges as well) caused my gums and teeth to be sore for DAYS after the fillings. I've never had this happen with fillings anywhere else. My retainers also didnt fit properly and the fillings had to be filed down twice. Still, I cannot wear my retainers through the night without half the teeth they worked on being so sore I have to take my retainers off. I've NEVER had this happen and I've had fillings and even a crown re-done elsewhere. Also because they work so quickly, one of the wedge spacers were left between my teeth and I was numb and couldn't feel this. They fitted my retainers with this on and still didnt see it ! It wasnt until the hygienist asked me to close my mouth so he could reach my back molars, and when closing I felt like I had broken a tooth, did I realize something was wrong. He saw the wedge was left and removed it for me. In the future I will just return to my usual dentist I've had for years who seems to take greater care with his patients. Lesson learned. Cheaper isnt always best. read more

Got a root canal done. After the dentist had issues getting down deep enough into the root I was told it would be soar. When I went back to get the cap put on it still hurt. I was told it was just because of the deep root and how hard it was to get to. During the fitting for the cap the assistant dropped her instrument and it hit the tooth next to the one work was done on. I went to another dentist for a second opinion and after doing x-rays I was told the root was still infected and that the cap isn't on the tooth all the way. Top it off there was a crack in the tooth the instrument hit. I was told to go back and have them fix it. However I don't trust their experience and won't let them touch my mouth again. Two stars only because the staff was nice, just not very experienced. read more

Started coming here just after it opened. Staff members are AWESOME, Office is well kept, rooms are always clean, Cold no problem they have blankets, Doctors are Beyond Awesome, they get their work done and run on time as long as you are on time. There is no telling during a procedure what may go on so if they are running behind no problem, the movies in the office are always good, there is water in the fridge, tissues if the movie becomes sad lol The staff is here to HELP YOU. Remember if you don't take care of your teeth you will have work that will need to be done. It's not their fault for all the work that needs to be done, it starts as a child, every 6 month cleaning and brushing is so important, if that is not something you do, PLEASE DON'T GET UPSET WITH THE OFFICE, they are there to HELP. Your HEALTH is most important, they will make sure you are healthy enough before doing any work, medical releases may need to be signed by your PCP before but that's because once you step foot in that door you become family and they care about you. I can say, I had to leave for a few months, having to cancel a cleaning appointment, I gave the office enough time to get another patient into my spot. When I came back into town, I got their next available appointment and sad to say, I needed a deep cleaning, just that little time and my gums needed help, Josh was there to save the day. My deep cleaning appointment was scheduled, I went back for my check up and GUESS WHAT, I'm back on track. With God willing I'll never have to miss my 6 month cleaning again!! I liked the staff and dentist at first. The dentist couldn't decide what to do in my situation so she sent me to an endodontist, Kang Yung Ming. He said in one breath I needed a root canal then his staff told me I didn't then when I went back to dentist at Crossroads Dental she told me Ming sent her a letter I needed a root canal but she would do it. Then a few days later Dr Ming personally called me and said I did NOT need a root canal. At this time I was not sure what to do. Then I was told the insurance approved other work scheduled the appointment and had the work done. A few weeks went by and the billing person told me I owe over $800 for the work there was a miscommunication with the insurance and I was not covered until August. I refused to pay the entire bill because I did not screw up getting the proper authorization and I HAVE NEVER HAD AN ISSUE AT MY PREVIOUS DENTIST WITH ACCURATE AUTHORIZATION. I offered to pay half but I'd have to make installments and they refused so I hired an attorney and switched dentist. When I called I booked an appointment for a cleaning. When I arrived I found out it was for a consultation. Then I was scheduled for dental work and a cleaning. When I went in for my cleaning I was not made aware that a deep cleaning is different then a yearly cleaning. So surprised that i got a 120.00 balance from my insurance was fun. If you miss an appointment they will charge you. CJ was my dental assistant and he was awesome. I went with her to her consult appointment & I had my nephew & daughter & the ladies at the front desk went out of their way to make them happy. They put on a movie, let my nephew pick out a toy from the treasure chest & gave them both a toothbrush!Besides the great front staff the back staff was equally great with the kids (I didn't know all that was being done at a consult...I shouldn't have brought kids but the staff was excellent) On top of that Dr Desai is very kind & very thorough about what was needed done. Went here looking for a new dentist. For 69$ for xrays,consultation and cleaning.They did xrays ,gum number system, and some kind of camera in my mouth. Then the dentist s looked and said I would need a deep cleaning before I even thought about a regular cleaning. She said that was going to be about 2100 $ but was going to give me 15% off,wow. they actually scared me into thinking I needed this right away.So I went to another dentist and got a deep cleaning for less than 500$ and he said their were no emergencies in my mouth. My former dentist retired so I felt fortunate when I received a coupon from Crossroads offering cleaning and X-rays for $59. I have dental insurance but I don't like to use all the benefits in the first part of the year. I paid my $59. After I had the procedure, they informed me that they would not honor the coupon because they were under contract with the insurance company.They then billed my insurance company for all the work they did depleting my insurance account. I contacted my insurance company and they stated that customers can pay cash for service from "contracted" dental offices. They kept my $59 too. read more

I had s horrible experience at crossroad dental. They told me I need 3 crowns done. I went in and did all 3 crown at the same time. All of the sudden I started feeling pain. I was in so much pain that I couldn't take it anymore. I went back and they said my crown need to be adjusted. They did that and gave me some medication. I was still having pain. Went back again and they re adjusted it again. Same thing happen. I went back again and they said I need root canal. They did one root canal and gave me medication. I was still having pain. I went back again and they re adjusted my crown. Still in pain. Went back again and they did another root canal. Next day ended in ER. I miss work. Spend money. Found this through 1-800-dentist. Needed dentist for my special needs child. They said he needed all kinds of work. Baby root canals, etc. 2,000 dollars worth. Had him sedated, they took him out to my car before he was all the way awake. Next time we came back they said he needed 700 dollars more work. I went to another dentist for 2nd opinion and they found nothing wrong!!!! Makes me wonder if the poor little guy needed to go thru all of that work to begin with!!!
