This place is located in an unassuming strip mall in Stafford. My group of 30 came here for a…read morespecial event and the restaurant was able to accommodate us, taking up one side of the restaurant. They have what looks to be a rotating menu. Make sure to read the full description of each menu item as the short title doesn't do it justice. I ordered a braised short rib with risotto dish, which was amazing! But the short title was just "risotto", which I would have quickly dismissed without my friend mentioning the short rib in the description. We started with the calamari an appetizer. It had a nice crispy breading. They had deep fried jalapeños with it, which paired nicely with the calamari. Never had it like this before. The dish came out with a very generous portion of risotto and a large short rib on top. The rib was so tender that it fell right off the bone and you didn't need a knife to cut it up. So flavorful! The risotto was well flavored and have a nice creaminess to it. I could have shared this plate as it was very rich and filling. Service was admittedly slow, but I attribute that to our large group on a Wednesday evening.

Our food came out hot and fresh. It was one of the best Italian that we've had in a long time. Between us all we orders the lasagna, shrimp scampi, rigatoni , grilled Caesar Salad PANSOTTI RAVIOLI, and the PAPPARDELLE and the I will definitely come back when I'm in the area.

I went because they had gnocchi on the menu and I thought how bad could it really be how bad can Italian food be right? I also had read in a previous review about their Caesar dressing and how it had real anchovies in it and it was homemade. I was super excited to have the Caesar salad with chicken as my meal as I wasn't that hungry and I love Caesar salad dressing with anchovies. I'm giving this place two stars because the waitress was extremely nice now granite we were the only people in the restaurant two other couples did come in as we were sitting there. Between the local reviews, the empty parking lot and then the country music on in an Italian restaurant I should've known. But we forged ahead. So we ordered the garlic basil shrimp as an appetizer, it was good. It was fine, but it lacked a lot of flavor. My son then had the gnocchi which he substituted the Parmesan sauce for red sauce and asked for a meatball instead of the chicken or sausage. I again ordered the big Caesar salad salad with chicken as my entrée, along with a glass of wine, that clearly had been opened a bit too long and not properly sealed. The Kohl's frozen garlic bread from your freezer section of your grocery store had more flavor than the garlic bread that came out with my son's dish the two meatballs that were huge in size had no flavor at all while the gnocchi was great and consistency. The sauce itself again lacked any flavor at all. My lettuce was not fresh the Caesar dressing if it was homemade was very thin and watery , and the chicken breast they asked for it to be put on top of it had no seasonings on it whatsoever. I would not go back here and I hope that you reading this considers it, this review and what all the locals told me, before you decide to go. And for those of you that are looking to maybe start a business in the colonial Beach area an Italian restaurant that delivers Italian food would be phenomenal.

Our seafood pasta was delicious and loaded with a good amount of seafood. The prices are very fair and the service was good. The wine selection was ok. The food was very tasty, that's the most important thing. ( PS: It's completely authentic to have anchovies in a Cesar salad, but it's not commonly added in the majority of restaurants. Because anchovy is usually a love it or a hate it ingredient, it would be helpful to mention on the menu that the Nonna's Cesar salad dressing contains anchovies.)

It was hard as a rock and it was not edible at all. Unfortunately, Doordash was not willing to give me any type of refund or credit so I called Giuseppe's. They refused to help me. The owner wouldn't even get on the phone. Nino is his name. He refused to call me back. They don't have a manager so they're kind of running without any guidance. I called for a couple of days in a row and kept getting the waitresses or the cashier. Very rude. When she said she would call him and called me back and told me that he pretty much said the same thing I explained to her that Doordash was not giving me a refund and basically what Nino is saying is customers don't matter. He owns the restaurant. It was a 57 dollar order and he was not willing to do anything about it to take care of a customer. The fact that the owner Nino was Not willing to do anything about it, knowing his cook burnt an entire calzone and they still sent it out is crazy to me. And he obviously does not care the fact that he would not get on the phone with me or call me back and made his cashier give me the news and then rudely hang up on me is just unacceptable. There are better restaurants in the area. And with all the new restaurants coming into town, I'm hoping people start going elsewhere. The fact that the cashier refused to let me continue talking yelled at me and then hung up on me is sickening that they're allowed to treat their customers that way. We will not be going back and I'm gonna do everything I can to make sure my community and the surrounding area knows that There are better Italian restaurants in the area than Giuseppe's

Captain's Log, Stardate 20260317…read more Today, I ventured into the culinary depths of Zibibbo 73 Trattoria Italiana & Bar, and let me tell you, it was an experience that boldly went where few dining adventures have gone before. As I stepped through the door, I felt as though I had transported directly to the heart of Italy, with the decorations and ambiance setting the stage for an epicurean odyssey. I ordered the lasagna with Bolognese sauce, and it arrived like a perfectly executed maneuver from the finest starship. The layers were rich and harmonious, each bite bursting with flavor that transported my taste buds to another galaxy. The Bolognese sauce was a glorious fusion of robust meat and savory herbs, creating a star-studded performance that left me craving more. Stopped here on a road trip headed down I-95, convenient location just off the highway. Food, atmosphere, and service were all excellent. Menu has a great variety but isn't overwhelming. Excellent wine list and selection of beers, and mixed drinks, as well as appetizers and deserts. We had cheese steak egg rolls with fries. The specials were what we ordered for dinner: Lobster Ravioli- great portion of lobster meat with a creamy sweet pink sauce; and the AHI tuna special with a really nice red sauce with diced green peppers, thinly sliced onions, and chopped olives, with a side of spaghetti and marinara sauce. It was more food than we could finish so we took away leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Was sad to pass on the desert menu- lots of great options to choose from. Our server, Fawn was very polite, super attentive, and very cheerful. We came on a Friday night after the dinner rush and had a very quiet and relaxing dinner. Highly recommend for a far better than average casual dining experience.
