Our visit on 12/29/25 was beyond disappointing. Our bartender Christina was very slow and not vey attentive and very easily distracted. She also appeared to be intoxicated or under the influence of something. We also overheard other patrons discussing an altercation involving the owner punching a customer and giving her two black eyes. read more

Try getting food here. Better get there early kitchen closes at 7:45. If you do get the eat get the prime rib. Better ask for two baked potatoes because the one they will give you is very small. It's the cheapest thing you could put on my plate at least give me a big potato. read more

When you go to God's country you have to stop the place he goes for Prime Rib on Sundays. 12 years coming the first week after Thanksgiving; (not leaf peeping), we come here four times during the week. You don't appreciate this place - you got problems. read more

This place is dirty. There's film all over the restroom area on every surface. There's flies in the dining area. The beer isn't cold. The staff were *unpleasant* to me and my friend who is obviously gay so it seems like it was a direct target. Parking is poor - there are mudholes in the parking lot. This is a local watering hole. Why would I eat here? There are no other places to eat at 6pm and that is the only reason. The bar is run by a couple, and in all fairness they were attentive, but so were the flies. Value for price? No, but I was thankful it was open. It was at least 45 minutes between the order and appetizer. Mac and cheese, homemade, but nuked to rubber. Would I return, to get drunk yes, and I would need to be before eating there again. Visiting the area and had seen some good reviews on other web sites. My husband ordered the Cheese steak pizza and was very happy with it. I was not as happy with my pizza. Very generous for a small pizza but definitely not pizzeria pizza. Atmosphere was small town bikers bar (this is meant as a compliment). Where everybody knows each other, and they were raising money to help a well known local. Would order from here again next time I am in the area, but will have to try the burger that based on the reviews I should have ordered last time. read more

Delicious fresh burgers and hand cut fries. Perfect after a day of adventures on Pine creek. Friendly service.

We hwave been there twice for burgers and a beer. Though the burgers were good...the atmosphere is kind of cafeteria like. Our second visit had a 50 minute wait for two burgers and a 40 minute wait for the secind two burgers. The bartender comped us an order of mushrooms to shut us up. Though the beer selection is huge..it is almost all warm...then poured into a cold mug. This is totally unacceptable. They can pull this together, maybe put at least one craft beer on tap and when they know they are backed up, put a bowl of pretzels out? And for crying out loud....chill your beer. read more

I ordered takeout yesterday (1/10/2021) for 2 adults and one kid. I thought it was simple food, but I guess not. 2 chicken cheesesteaks with LTO and mayo was about 20 bucks. The cheesesteaks were HALF cheesesteaks, and each one contained one full limp tomato slice, 3 pieces of lettuce (each piece the size of a quarter) and one sliver of onion cut in half. The bread was good at least! The "large" fries were barely enough for one person and tasted of old oil, and the plain cheeseburger, ordered medium well, was dryer than the Pine Creek was over the summer. The best part?? The two cups of chili we ordered were not even hot. They had congealed fat/oil in them, and I would up having to cook it when I got home. I will NEVER order overpriced, unprepared and/or overprepared food from Crossroads Tavern in Morris, PA again. You're better off stopping at a drive thru somewhere. read more

If I could give this place no stars then I would. Ignorant waitress, received our food after an un believably long time, especially with basically no one in there . Omg I wanted my burger well done, but apparently the waitress or cook didn't care , leaking cold wet blood when I reached the center of the burger... absolutely disgusting. Fries greasy also . What a great find! Stopped in - without expectations - for a quick lunch. OMG. Had a delicious, full sized char-broiled cheese burger with fries for $6.25! WHAT? Yes, it was a special, but it was cooked to perfection. The bartender (Rudy, maybe? It was a Thursday afternoon. I am sorry I don't remember) was friendly and accomodating. Was camping/fishing on Pine Creek in Cammal, seemed like the middle of nowhere. Took a ride and ended up here. Wednesday night Biker night, free music on the patio and plenty of good people and good party. Great food and friendly people. Love it! read more
