I stopped in recently to use a gift card that we had. Since I've been disappointed in the past, this time I stuck to appetizers and soup. The clam chowder was pretty good. I'd order it again. The chili cheese fries were delicious! The chili on them was really good, so I'd also consider just ordering chili if I went back. Others I was with got wings and said they were awesome. Our waitress was fabulous! I can't remember her name but she was funny and fast and considerate. We enjoyed pier 87 alot! It's right by the water so we went to the bar, grabbed a drink and relaxed till our table to be ready. Very laid back, chill place. Our apps were delicious I wish more places had fried banana peppers. By the time main course came out we were full and the sun had set, it was dim light where we were seated at. Later on that night I went to eat my left overs removed my bun to microwave the chicken realizing it had been raw. I end up throwing the rest of it away. Such a shame we enjoyed the other parts of our service, this is just a matter of the kitchen checking safe temperatures for food. Easily accommodated our party of 16, which is not often the case. It is beautifully located right along the water with both indoor and outdoor seating available. Most importantly, the food was hot and delicious, and the service was fantastic. We often travel and dine out in large numbers and we have learned that when doing so, you need to be more understanding with waitstaff and even quality of food sometimes, as it's not easy to serve 10-20 people good hot food at the same time -as well as maintain the rest of the customers. Date of our visit was 06/29/22. This was our last day in the area and we decided to treat our son in law to a birthday meal with family. We arrived at about 4:30 in the afternoon and weren't ready to eat so we sat in the patio area having drinks and enjoying the view of the creek and hills. Jordan, Evan and Triston even did some fishing. When we were ready to eat, these were the items we ordered. Two crab cake dinners, two fish taco wraps, one cheeseburger, one roast beef sandwich, one lobster and shrimp roll and a child chicken tenders. Everything was very good, all four five stars. We were in the Williamsport area and decided to stop in for dinner. The atmosphere is spacious and welcoming. Pier 87 is deceptively large with indoor dining and bar, a wraparound covered deck, and patio area next to the Loyalsock Creek. All of the staff were inviting, attentive and pleasant. We ordered the sirloin steak which was perfectly seasoned and prepared as ordered. The flavor was excellent! We also ordered the crab cake dinner which were prepared just the way I like them. Very little breading mixed in with the crab, a thin exterior crust held them together. Moist crunchy and delicious. I got a mint hot chocolate mixed drink which was just the ticket on a single-digit temperature day. Well done Pier 87! We will be back. read more

Went for my nephews 40th birthday. We had 20 in our party. There were orders lacking ingredients. A Rueben with no sauerkraut, 2 steaks without its sautéed mushrooms and one never received his fries. The service was great. Our server was attentive and on top of things. All of our food came out at the same time and was hot. I had the crab cake sandwich. It was ok. The crab cake itself was good though a little bland. There was tartar sauce served on it but it was also bland. It tasted like it was missing any tartness. Our adult daughter, who had not accompanied us, asked us to order her the fettuccine alfredo with shrimp to bring home for her. On the menu it is listed as being $22.99. Two of the people in our party ordered the fettuccine Alfredo but with chicken. The portions were large and according to those who had ordered it, very tasty. When we got the check, the shrimp Alfredo we ordered to go was listed at $25.99. When we got home and our daughter opened the box there was a little more than half the portion of pasta that those dining at the restaurant had received and a paltry 3 pieces of shrimp. She said the meal was good, but she was so disappointed in what little shrimp actually came in the meal. We felt so bad for her that we gave her back $10 of her $26. This place is great! I love to go when I'm visiting my boyfriend's hometown. Really spacious interior, beautiful porch and a cool tiki bar vibe out back. The tuna wontons have a cucumber wasabi sauce so I added that on the side..really made a great addition. Fish is cooked perfectly and the wrap isn't messy at all! We also get the pierogis, they're great...whoever thought of wrapping a pierogi in bacon is obviously a genius. He got a burger the first time which was you know..a burger..just fine. The 2nd time he got shrimp Alfredo, that was EXCELLENT. I think it was one of the best Alfredos I've had in a long time. We enjoyed the setting for a while. Had cocktails while waiting. Their speciality cocktails were a hit and made "to go" as sitting on 'beach' is by choice it seems. It was a warm evening, 83 degrees, and they turned on the fire pit. That ended sitting around it as it was so hot it became uncomfortable. No reason they couldn't wait another hour. Signs entering from parking lot specifically state masks are required. That statement was ignored by about 75% of patrons as well as by staff. Patrons entering the outside seating area as well as going inside to restrooms were walking around, definitely less than 6ft from others without masks. (Some) Staff also lax about mask requirements - especially those inside. Their masks were down, under chin or totally off. Servers did wear masks when delivering food. Our wait staff took our orders and did not rush us. The server who brought our meal-rude. Two people ordered hamburgers...one almost rare and one well done. When they were served, they asked the server if they got the right one. Loudly he says- why would you even ask me that and can't you just check? Really? Now to the meals- all but one enjoyed their meal. The lobster rolls-delish! Chicken and beef cheesesteaks-also delish. Burgers-very good. The one who did not like their meal is not a fan of dill which is an ingredient in the lobster roll. Bathrooms-someone on staff needed to check them. Hostesses could have easily went in to check but they were busy dancing around and socializing with friends/customers - again no masks. I do understand that this is a crazy time. The beach and deck are nice so if you're looking to be outside with some good scenery, there's that. They were fairly busy yet they seemed to have many people working, despite this the service was still pretty bad. Our waitress infrequently checked in with us and the food took forever to arrive. As far as drinks, they were out of multiple (listed) draft beers and I was given the wrong margarita. The food was average at best. The nachos were stale, overly-seasoned and they use what appears to be Cheez Whiz. My chicken wrap was fine, something you could get at Sheetz for cheaper. The fries and their ranch were the only highlight. Prices are okay. I'd say go here for the atmosphere, don't go expecting good service or food. read more
