One of the only stores that can be considered a decent thrift stop for men. Their selection was pretty evenly distributed between sizes S-XL for men, but this is definitely not the same case in the women's/femme section. I forget every time that I shop at any crossroads that these stores are designed for skinny, "fit" women. God forbid you have a chest size over a B cup or hips wider than 30 inches. This store is about 1/3 mens, 1/2 womens size XS-M, and 1/6 womens L and XL. The ratio of sizes in womens clothing has such a disparagement that it's almost exponential. Almost everything that is displayed on the walls for decoration is either small or x-small. The store's content is very indicative of the type of people that it caters to, which is unfortunate. read more

1 star. I feel completely robbed and disappointed by this store. Before purchasing a bag, I specifically asked about the return policy, and the cashier told me that as long as the tags were attached, I could return it within 7 days. Later, I found the exact same bag for a better price and went back to return it. Suddenly, the same cashier told me they could only offer store credit and not a refund to my original payment method. This was NEVER explained at the time of purchase. If they had clearly said that "returns" only meant store credit, I would have never bought anything there in the first place. I even asked to speak with the manager, but she just kept repeating the same thing instead of trying to resolve the situation. Very misleading return policy and terrible customer service. I will never shop at any of their stores again. Absolutely disgusting experience. read more

Of all of the Crossroads Trading Co. places in Los Angeles, this is probably my favorite. The clothing selection is great - they're constantly getting new inventory. Some of the items still have the original tags on them (I bought a Maje dress today for $32. It still had the original tags on it showing $332. Such a great deal!). Every time I go here, I always find discounted items in wonderful condition. Yes, because these are mostly used items, there are some pieces that might have a minor snag but for the most part, the items are unique and pass the vibe check. The only reason why I'm writing this is to help someone make sure they buy clothes with the logos clearly on it , not to make the employees feel bad! Because they were super nice to me! However, my only problem is that I brought in 2 lululemon sports bras. The red head accepted one magenta one, & the logo was clearly on it. The other one, there was a logo on it but I will admit that it's super hard to see! Same with a Brandy Melville John Galt shirt that was navy, & you can barely see the logo on the back. I used to frequent this location in the past however today they accidently lost multiple items of my clothing? they also have a very sketchy communication system where you can't contact any sort of corporate to report these things. I am still waiting for the staff to update me on how this happened but would NOT return after this incident. I think the concept is pretty cool: you can buy and sell used clothes. They pay 50% in trade meaning you can use the credit to shop in their store, or get 30% in cash of what they price your items to sell for in the store. The customer service is not great. I didn't feel welcomed at all. While the girl was looking and checking my items for sale, she told me I can walk around the store until she is finish. Looking around I noticed a lot of the things there are cheap but still not worth the money. I bought one necklace that broke after two days. Bad quality. They did accept one pair of boots of mine, which was in great condition- like new. I'll probably not return here because the employees are not welcoming and aren't attentive. I rather spend a bit more cash and be treated nicely. *Due to Covid the fitting rooms are not available, so you can't even try on their clothes before you buy it. read more

I find that all the buyers in two locations that I frequent are extremely unfriendly. They act like sellers are an inconvenience to them. Some of them don't even look at your clothes they take it out of the bag and just fold it right back up. Borderline rude. read more

I overall like the store, but docking 2 stars due to unfriendly staff and frequently finding stains on the clothes in the racks. The selection is overall good, I'd say 4/5 times that I go I'll find something to take home. I've been coming to this location for years, at least over 5+ and I feel it's gone downhill. I've always brought either high quality vintage, designer, or in-season items and I've never had a problem with selling them. But in the past year, I've noticed their offers to buy have decreased significantly. I used to come in with two bags and leave with one bag and around $300 in cash - not anymore. I brought items in recently and they took all the low-priced stuff but passed on James Perse, Pucci, Manolo Blahnik, Cuyana etc. I walked out with $40 in cash I will say I don't find it fair to complain that a store like this isn't taking your items if those items don't fit for the customer. Even thrift stores have specific customers and buying habits in mind, so they understandably won't take in galaxy leggings, for example, when they know they won't sell (yes, even if they have tags on) But the amount of designer things they skip on and low-ball prices for is a little crazy to me. And when they do accept something, it would be nice to make more than $10 for that item. And don't get me started on the sheer amount of fast fashion and ugly shoes they DO accept somehow read more

This location is tied as my favorite crossroads location with the one in silverlake. So many different styles that are actually decently priced. Way better than the Culver City location in my opinion. Staff have great customer service attitude and even though they don't buy all items, they politely explain what they're looking for and even offer to show what each item is going to be priced at. The only downside is that there isn't a parking lot, and you have to park across the street at the parking structure. read more

Nothing extraordinary. Not the nicest customer service but they weren't mean just not welcoming or informative. The girls working vibes are just off. They joke around and laugh with each other but don't really care to be welcoming with customers. Selling is hard here. Crazy wait times. I went to sell my clothes and was NOT informed I could drop off my clothes and pick up the next day until I overheard the same women tell this to another seller. Otherwise the wait time was over an hour. Bad vibes. My advice is if you have cute trendy clothes to sell on poshmark or mercai. Then if none of that works go here. Terrible service for selling clothes do no recommend buyers were too busy talking with each other and took forever. They let other people go in front that had just walked in, instead of those who were there the longest. Also I noticed that they don't wash the clothes they get they just put tags on. The thing about selling stuff here is that there is no way to know what they are interested in until they review it and just because they were excited about something one day and buy it, does not mean that if you bring the same exact thing the next day they will. And you can show the same thing to two different people behind the counter and get two different opinions on if it's a buy or not. But I will tell you, if they do decide to buy your things--the cash payoff is very nice and reasonable I found. No complaints. I brought two loads of things the same week--on a Monday and a Thurs afternoon. On Monday, I waited 15 minutes for service after checking in. On Thursday, I waited almost an hour. I did not realize until Thursday that Homeless will go through the bins overnight at Goodwill and Salvation Army Donation Facilities and pick out stuff and place it in large garbage bags and bring it to Crossroads to see if they can get some cash for it. Crossroad does not have a daily per person item review limit so if you get behind one of these Homeless--you are in for a Long Wait. And I saw that some of the Homeless work in teams bringing in lots of bags for review. I watched the clerk at Crossroads review dozens of items in 4 large Garbage Bags from 2 Homeless guys buying maybe 4 things from it. General rules to keep in mind selling here: 1. Come to the store first and see what sell. 2. Keep you items seasonal. For example--they said they may buy a new with tags suit around the holidays, but not in summer. 3. Unless you item is cool looking to have imperfections, they prefer close to new or unworn. 4. Certainly nothing with food or dirt stains. 5. Don't be upset if they don't buy something--it does not mean someone else will not. For example, I brought in a pair of Dr. Marten's shoes. The clerk said they were cool looking, their customers like Dr. Marten's, but too worn to be sold in their store. So on the way back to my car I stopped at Trashland to see if they were interested? The clerk there looked at them and said these are really cool, are you sure you want to sell them? Then he offered me a very nice price, so I sold them. On my first visit to Crossroads, the clerk bought 50% of the things I brought in. On my second visit, a different clerk only bought 1 thing. It does not cost anything to have them review your stuff, so if you have the time--why not? read more

Waited for an hour to have them take maybe 2 minutes tops to look through a huge bag of clothing that was not fast fashion and in perfectly good shape. Gave me the excuse they were "not in fashion or worn." And yet the pieces on the racks are ugly and out of style despite their insistence on only taking pieces that follow their style guide. Really feels like they are busier than ever here. I come here mainly to sell when I need to clear out the clutter in my closet. I'll just say that though there may be a line and things take time, they got a great system going and it feels like the staff is doing what they can. This is a fun spot and feels like they end to have quick turnover for items. So they are getting good items coming into the store and also seem to sell fast. Terrible customer service compared to four years ago! The kind, helpful staff, including Charles, has been replaced by a very rude, dismissive staff, with no training in customer service. I recently came in to make a return and was told only a manager could do this. I waited & was ignored by the manager, Britney B., who was chatting behind the counter with other employees and sorting clothes. When I asked if there was someone else who can help me, Britney told me to "STAY BEHIND THE YELLOW LINE" then she continued to chat with other employees and sort clothes while I waited. After several minutes, she helped me, never apologized and seemed irritated she had to do a return instead of sort clothes. Is this how new employees are being trained, that customers are less important than sorting new inventory and chatting with fellow employees? It's really disappointing that the service has ruined this store for me :( read more

This place is unethical and rips off sellers and buyers. my young cousin who is only 15 went to sell a few items to make money . She was selling her moms old things which included designer items and the store offered her $25 in total for a Chloé dress and gentle monster sunglasses both new with tags. She was unsure but felt pressured to sell the items by the worker. If I had been there I would not allow this to happen but to take advantage of a child is completely not right and I am extremely disappointed that any adult would have the capacity to do this. read more

Their employees really should spend more time making sure items they are buying aren't damaged. I purchased a reformation crop top and the button was almost completely falling off the shirt. When I got home and put it on to wear, the button completely broke off causing the strap to come off. Too late to return. Please check item quality and not just brand before purchasing items! And price accordingly for flaws. Another item was also broken, a romper was missing the clasp for the button. Another 20-30$ spent on something I can't wear.
