I was having a slight headache from Uhaul but Move Kingz fixed that! I worked with EJ over the phone to coordinate everything. He was extremely responsive. I reached him with ever phone call and is receptive to text. He even called when something went wrong from the Uhaul side (that we weren't informed of yet). Jean (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) was such a wonderful person to work with and was the one helping us the actual day. He went above and beyond our initial request. He was very knowledgeable about moving even though he has only been with the company for 6 months. Jean handled all our items and boxes with care. Obviously my couches a queen bed and dresser are not going to fit but the kids told me that the owner too the truck. We get to my building and these kids can't even park the truck!!! They had to ask the maintenance guy to do it for them!! Not just once but 4X. I paid for two trips not several so that was on the owners fault. Second he sends these jail birds to come move my things. I gave them a chance because times are hard and everyone needs a job at the moment. They ruined my dresser, ripped my couches, I live in a BRAND NEW building all the other residents had no problems moving in. these low cost movers put a hole in the wall and door. The owner had the NERVE to say this is common on every move. Wrong if you're a professional this definitely doesn't happen. When I got my furniture from the room place yes it comes in a box but they take off the box before coming up the stairs or elevator. That's how you know the owner is unprofessional doesn't know what he's doing he hires these poor kids just so he doesn't have to pay them as much as he would to someone that knows what they're doing. I was better off getting some guys from Home Depot and renting my own uhaul truck. Then the owner decided to call me trash to the personal in my building, everyone laughed at him. And was very patient with me and all my changes!!! Out of all the movers I called for quotes, he was the only one that followed up with me. I will definitely call him for my next move! Then comes time for the movers to load us up from Margate, FL to NC. They were beyond professional, sweet, careful, and so kind to us. Asked questions along the way. Moved our personal belongings with such care. These two young men pictured with my mom were simply amazing!!!! Now for the unload in NC. The driver kept in touch with us from the time he loaded the truck up until delivery day.... keeping us updated on time line. We had two stops, and he handled everything perfectly. Even told my mom, relax I will put the bed together! We had a storage unit and I was afraid everything wouldn't fit, well he told me not to worry he's got it. And he did! Even told me where certain things were in storage unit for me to find. I cannot say enough great things about Nationwide Van Lines. Everyone involved with our move went above and beyond. The next day I got a long text with all their prices and information. I called them and got all the information I needed. A couple weeks later I called and sent a text to reserve my date. On the phone he told me my date was great and he would start around 9am but didn't go over payment information or ask for addresses. I Never got a text back though. I sent another text to please let me know what he needed from me and asked if everything was ok as it would be a MAJOR inconvenience to have it fall though last minute. Still nothing. About 2 weeks out from move date, I called from my work phone, he picked up right away because he didn't know it was me and told me my date was perfect and that everything was ok. He said he would call me that evening with payment info. Never got a call back. I sent a text letting him know I already got everything taken care of at my condo office and again to PLEASE let me know SOMETHING. He knows I'm pregnant and told him I had to be out by the 31st it's hard to hire movers end of month on such short notice. Everyone is moving out end of month and this is south Florida. Moving date has come and gone and still have not heard back from him. What kind of business owner does that? A fake one? Don't be a coward. Just tell me you rather take the larger moves and don't have time for my 1 bedroom apartment. The company I went with looked them up for me on the BBB and said they have a D rating and she went on the DOT website and said they are not doing thing they should be. In the end, I'm glad they ditched me and gave me to opportunity to go with a legit company.
