Visiting Chestertown with friends found us looking for fun day trips and adventures. We literally stumbled upon Crow Vineyard and Winery in Kennedyville. What a treat! We called to inquire the hours and were told to make a reservation since it was a holiday. When we arrived we found it delightfully beautiful and serene around the vineyard. This is a working farm, complete with farmers driving tractors around. They have a Bed and Breakfast on site, as well as beautiful grapevines, grass-fed cattle, a tasting room and adorable patio to enjoy snacks and wine. Each of our group sampled the seasonal flight of six wines (Vidal Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc Fume, Rose, Vintner's Red, Malbec and Reserve Red Blend). The flight was reasonably priced at only $15 with generous pours. Each sample was tasty, refreshing and flavorful. Lucky for me they were having a special on the Vintner's Red Select of 15% off so I got two bottles to take home and enjoy later. With Autumn on the horizon, these wines will be a nice warm me up for fall nights. Our group also enjoyed chips and a very very tasty salsa, beef nachos, a cute charcuterie board with meats and cheeses and crackers, plus some refreshing watermelon complimentary after our tasting. After perusing the farm and gorgeous grape vines, the cute store with merch, and the carry out fridge case, we walked out of there with wines, t-shirts, and ground beef - all for very affordable prices. Our experience was enhanced by the service by owners, Roy and Judy Crow, as well as Hope and Annette. Everyone was very friendly, had positive attitudes and were quick to answer our questions about the vineyard and upcoming events. Sadly, we missed the annual grape stomping last weekend, but will look forward to some dinner and wine events that are listed on their website. If you're looking for a beautiful ambiance and friendly service, tasty wines and snacks, and to just have a relaxing and enjoyable day, visit Crow Vineyard. I must also mention the ground beef burger patties we got for $7 a pound made the most delicious, moist and flavorful hamburgers. Yummers!! read more

Visited Crow Farm & Vineyard on a sunny day recently. Inviting spot with a spacious tasting room. Tasting was not going on when I was there, but I got to walk around and enjoy the sights and sounds; purchased 3 bottles of red wine and a Porterhouse steak to take with me. It's easy to find and nicely laid out. I saw that folks were biking here, too. Crow Farm was recommended to me as a good starting point to experience what Maryland vintners are producing. I've never consumed Maryland wine before, so was intrigued as to what I would get. I've now tasted all 3 reds. One stood out for me: the 2016 Merlot. Also, I appreciate that Crow sells some wine in half bottles. So, kudos to them for that. The surprise that I didn't see coming: their grass-fed Angus Porterhouse steak is blue ribbon. It's tender and delicious. Really wish that I had bought more of their beef. read more

My girlfriend ND I had the chance to visit Crow Farm & VINYARD yesterday. We needed a halfway point to meet up and Crow hit the mark. After traveling for 2 hours, we were greeted by a friendly staff, and seated right away. They offered us a variety of wine tasting options, and a list of home made lunch options. We enjoyed the soup f the day, and a lovely sale of cheese and charcuterie. Their farm raised beef stick and Barbara infused cheese really stood out, and we had to take that goodness home with us. We also loved several of their wines, and took home close to a case between the two of us. They had a nice selection of whites and reds. Mostly dry wines, with some having just a touch of sweetness. The Sparkling Barbara and Barbara Rose are a fan favorite. I cant wait to bring my husband to crow in the future. Our visit was def worth the 2 hour car ride. read more

Crow Vineyards is a gorgeous spot. We sat outside with our pup and had vineyard views. Service was great, and everyone was very friendly. We shared two flights, the Vintners Estate and the Winemakers flight. We loved and bought two bottles each of the Pinot gris, the Sauvignon blanc, and the Vidal blanc. We also tried the Vidal blanc sweet wine on the way out and ended up purchasing two of those as well. We were not as much of a fan of the reds as we were the whites. We also snacked on the charcuterie board which this is the one thing I don't recommend at all (I wish I would have taken a picture but forgot)- it was expensive and tiny, and comprised of peppers and carrots with hummus, cheese, bologna, a few olives and some crackers. The cheddar cheese was the best thing on the plate. Overall, come for the white wines and views! read more

Recently visited Crow Vineyards and had a great experience. The wine and service were both fantastic.

We really enjoyed this lovely winery off the beaten path . We got there around 12 and it wasn't terribly busy which was nice. We both decided on a tasting and we shared a charcuterie plate . The plate was really perfect for 2 people- cheeses , crackers , some summer sausage and hummus. Lovely ! We also enjoyed the wine ;they were for the most part really good. We each bought 2 extra tastes which were 1.50 each . My niece and I both bought a couple of bottles and a glass to take home. Also they raise sand sell beef there and we're having a pretty sweet deal for Father's Day that I couldn't pass up ! The staff and owner were warm and friendly- I really wish it was closer!! read more

We had the opportunity to assist/volunteer in harvesting grapes on 9/23/25. It couldn't have been a more positive experience. We had a wonderful visit at Crow yesterday (3/23). We did a tasting and settled on a bottle of Cab Franc to go with our lunch and it worked out beautifully. The wine was excellent and went well with the grilled beef and chicken salad sandwiches we shared. Everyone was very friendly too. WE had wonderful conversations with several different people on everything from wines around the world to '70s music and modern pop and country. Finally got back to Crow vineyard and went to A wine pairing with Appetizers so glad we went it was so nice and they are very nice people that will help you in any way! My friend called ahead to ask for a chair because I have some medical issues and I can't stand long and the owner offered to take me in Golf cart to next stations so i wouldn't have to walk! Very nice! Thanks Judy!! The food was delicious! And Wine is definitely good always was! There's not one I don't like! Whites and Reds! If you never been here you need to check it out best winery I have been too.. and I been to a lot! Lol it's beautiful grounds and wine barn is so nice! And they have a Bed & breakfast next visit definitely staying there! We live in Annapolis so it's quite a drive but totally worth it! They have a working farm so they sell all kinds of meats that are delicious so bring your cooler you definitely want to get some steaks /pork chops hamburgers and all kinds of meats! fresh eggs too! Hidden Gem- A quiet weekend retreat I booked a weekend at their Bed & Breakfast for my boyfriend's birthday in June and it was everything I was hoping for! Everyone (including the animals) was so friendly and accommodating. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. Our hosts, Judy and Roy, gave wonderful recommendations for restaurants and activities outside of the farm when we wanted to check out the surrounding area. We had a late dinner at Kitty Knight less than 10 minutes from the farm our first night there and after a hearty breakfast on Saturday we enjoyed the farmer's market and walking around downtown Chestertown before coming back to the farm to enjoy a wine tasting and lunch in their tasting room. Shortly after I made the reservation and explained to Judy that I was planning this weekend as a birthday celebration for my boyfriend, she called me to let me know that they were hosting a Chef's Table dinner the weekend we were there. I'm so very glad she did and that we were able to purchase tickets before it sold out. The mystery Chef's Table dinner was an absolutely scrumptious 4 course meal, plus hors d'oeuvres paired with the winery's own wines. When our palates weren't being spoiled by this amazing French chef, Judy's homemade meals are hearty, satisfying and made with love. The weather during our weekend there was hot and sunny. It was a perfect weekend to indulge in wine tasting and lunch on their tasting room's patio, then cool off in their refreshing pool. We just returned from a weekend at Crow Vineyard and can't say enough about our positive experience. We stayed in the cottage which was comfortable and overlooks the pasture where the miniature ponies are kept. There is a kitchen that Judy kindly stocked with breakfast foods and snacks, and she and Ron went out of their way to treat us well and let us know of opportunities for us to participate in activities around the farm and vineyard. They and the entire staff were kind, helpful, and hospitable, and the wine is wonderful. It's a working farm and vineyard, and somehow they manage to balance it all with attention to their guests. We're definitely planning to return! read more

Fantastic wine and even better service. I had the pleasure to stay in one of the rooms that the vineyard offers for a business trip and Judy could not have been more accommodating. We had early morning call times, but Judy would make sure we had breakfast and coffee and was always asking if we needed anything. Only two of four wines available for tastings at this time. Very quaint rustic tasting room. The 2 wines we tasted today were on the dry side, but were still good. They did not charge us for the tasting today because they had so few wines available, but told us they would have 7 wines by summer. Grass fed Angus beef is available and fresh honey are both raised on this farm. They also have a bed and breakfast next to the winery. Unfortunately no military discount even when told that the other wineries are offering it. For now don't go out of your way to come here, but if you find yourself driving by it's worth the stop! We plan on coming back to try the other wines and re-review. So for now they only get 3 stars. read more

Crow Farm is a sprawling property nestled in Maryland's gem - the Eastern Shore. It has so much to offer I was surprised to learn that not only is it an award winning wine producer but they also grow their own grapes, raise grass fed beef, and operate a luxurious B&B. I stayed in their vineyard view room and had the best night's sleep of my life! Seriously need to follow up with them to find out who makes their mattresses. They also have a cute little rustic cottage that I want to stay in next time I'm in town. Hello charming woodstove and panoramic views! There are also running trails along the fields and through the woods that I was too full of meat and wine to take advantage of...maybe next time. This is truly a family run business! You can tell by how knowledgeable everyone is about all aspects of the farm operations. I loved their rose and their sparkling white wine. Had to buy a few bottles for my sisters as gifts they were so delicious! read more

We decided to take the scenic route from Brooklyn, NY to Washington DC. After a great time at Winterthur and the gardens we were driving down and felt the need to have some wine. Searched on google and there was Crow Farm. We took the little detour and were well rewarded. We sat inside since we were told we can't do the tasting outside for some reason. The wine was good and we bought a bottle as well. The food was good and fresh as well. They have a nice dog there who is very friendly and always looking for a cuddle. We took a little stroll around the back afterwards saying hi to the ponies and walking around the farm. It was a good experience and we will be back. Maybe for a stay! read more

We had such an awesome time here! I got a Groupon for 2 tastings and a sausage/cheese plate, and it was so worth it! Their summer sausage and meats are delicious! They also offer chili which smelled amazing (we didn't have any because we were going to dinner later, but we will be back for it!). The people working were so nice and informative! Stopped in while staying in Rock Hall. A very nice winery and tasting room. The tasting was done in a modern looking hay barn and they have a covered outside seating as well. We did the full 8 wines for $10 each. The farm is also a 365 acre cow, soy bean, and corn farm. A very nice and quaint winery. My wife and I always enjoy visiting Crow Farm. Roy Crow and his wife Judy produce what we think to be the best wine in the DE/South Eastern PA/South Jersey/MD area. Barbera, red blends, and Chardonnay are top notch. We stopped in on Mother's Day with another couple who had never been there (or to many wineries for that matter) and was happy to show them to a great experience....Judy was working. I guess you never stop working when you run a winery. Our group appreciated the snacks for the kids, sloppy joes and great wine. Forgot to bring my crow call. Next time!! read more

I've never done a wine tasting before and so we decided to drive over to the shore and find a place. We went to Cassinelli's first but he's closed for the season. He recommended Crow Farm Vineyard, so we went there. Mrs....I forget her name bc I'm really bad at remembering names, was extremely friendly and knew a lot about their product. There was another young couple there that travels an hour and half at least once a month to come and enjoy a glass of wine, while they stock up on farm raised beef and eggs. Yes, they also have their own farm with fresh meat. We'll be trying the meat this week. We will definately be going back to try other meats and maybe enjoy more wine than just a small tasting. read more

My husband and I enjoyed Crow's tasting room very much! The tasting room, while smaller, has 4-5 tables indoor that can seat multiple people as well as bar seating. There is additional outdoor seating on a small patio, a fire pit, as well as picnic tables next to a play structure for children. Visitors will likely see cows and chickens, and the house cats and Labradors which will delight little ones. They have two tasting menus with seven 1/2 oz pours for $8. My husband and I each tried one menu and then were able to chose a glass that we liked the best. Most of their wines are on the drier side but there are some among them that have more sweetness. My favorites were the 2015 Unoaked Chardonnay which was light, fruity, with a touch of sweetness; along with the 2015 Sparkling Vidal which would be amazing in mimosas! My husband enjoyed the 2014 Barbera which is a red with a hint of spiciness at the end. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the farm, vineyard, and wine. One thing that I think made Crow's tasting room unique was that they have local meat (beef from their herd and pork from a farm down the road), cheeses, and eggs (from their chickens) for sale in the tasting room as well. The snack food for sale (e.g., cheese, cracker, and sausage plates; pasta with beef, etc.) were all made with farm-to-table ingredients. We very much enjoyed our visit and the wine and will certainly be back again! Along with the vineyard and tasting room, the Crow's operate a farmstay Bed and Breakfast (about 100 yards from the tasting room) which is also amazing. If you're looking for a relaxing vacation you should definitely ask Judy, the owner, and the staff about it! Stopped by on our girls getaway weekend and were pleasantly surprised! We tasted some great wine and enjoyed a delicious BBQ beef sandwich and soups that were offered that day. There were lots of friendly staff on hand and Judy was an attentive host. She checked in with us a few times and we learned quite a bit from her about this well-cared for farm. Our visit was complete with a stroll around the picturesque grounds and visits with the mini-horses and cows. We were staying in nearby Chesterfield, and had no cooler so did not purchase any beef. Looking forward bringing some home on my next visit as it might be just a day trip - just barely an hour from Annapolis, but felt like a world away! read more
