I will mention, the kids were charged the full rate without a discount. We provided our own snacks and drinks which was no problem. We toured 2 different calm canals and were able to take in the wildlife like heron and even some deer. We were hoping to anchor and swim but it was too windy. It was a little choppy getting to the channel but you can't control the weather:) It was nice to have an onboard bathroom although it didn't always flush. Overall, we had a great time and would absolutely recommend and do again!

This faded quickly at the entry level with a strong smell of wet dog, followed by no cooling on the interior. The pictures on the internet are dated and things are cluttered now. The room I booked was not the room held, but since it was a weekday I could have my pick of the 3 front rooms, none of them the one I booked (?). The room was clean and there was AC that, when turned On, over time cooled the room down. During the night I was awakened by the heat and found the AC was not cycling On unless the ceiling fan was On (?). There are plentiful sugary and baked goods snacks and soda in the breakfast room for anytime. The fresh fruit though was over or under ripe. The morning coffee was not hot. Breakfast did happen and I was able to enjoy a wide selection of melon and berries with yogurt that was put out buffet style. The eggs requested, came pretty much as desired. The first morning I found out the free bike option was no longer available. I must have read about bikes in the reviews but now find they are no longer available in the fine print of the booking. My pleasure in staying here always fell short. I would have enjoyed a cookie cutter motel as much. I suppose I wanted the accommodation to be as attentive as the decor pictured. Then, as mentioned, the pictures are from some time in the past.

The atmosphere and ambiance inside and out is breathtaking and full of so much character and legacy. Staff doesn't follow rules riding golf carts. Headlights were not on when we were told it was quiet…read morehours. We did not realize it was past quiet hours. We turned it off as soon as they told us. Quiet hours 11pm-8am. It was little after 11 when they came by. Darnell got very defensive when my spouse indicated he should put his headlights on since it can be dangerous. He came at my husband and would not leave our site. He was very unprofessional. Then the owner and man came over 5 minutes later. They made excuses for their staff. They said, "he doesn't use headlights because he was trying to find a kid who was riding on electric scooter." That does not sound safe by any means. There are kids and people everywhere. Yes, we shouldn't have music on after quiet hours, but we immediately turned it off. We lost track of time and that is our fault. A staff member flipping out on us by telling them to put their headlights on is not professional at all. He knew we were right and that is why he got defensive. Tried to get the owners to leave us alone after we were quiet, but they kept rehashing the situation. Then the owner guy accused us and said we probably have kids going crazy on electric bikes/scooters (which we don't). We had a great time before this incident. But given the unprofessional staff, staff riding around with no headlights on at night, and high prices, we will not be returning.

Hear me out with this review:…read more I have never stayed in a Bed & Breakfast house before and when I was initially trying to book somewhere to stay in Rehoboth Beach this was the first place suggested. The house contains rooms with private bathrooms and rooms on a floor with shared bathrooms. I was very hesitant to book at first when I read that I would have to "share" a bathroom. We just returned home after a 4 night stay here and we were more than satisfied! Tom, the house owner, is super kind, personable and hospitable. His other workers (Rayvn and Chris) are also so helpful and always get you what you need. You can request to have breakfast in the morning from a menu selection and they bring you your food out at the time you request to have it ready for you . Tom always came and checked up on us wherever we were sitting during breakfast to chat about random things, show us his puppy and ask us if we wanted more food or needed anything. The room we stayed in had a shared bathroom in the hallway (we stayed on the 2nd floor and other rooms shared 2 full baths and a half bath with us) and it was actually very clean. The staff did a good job replenishing towels each day and cleaning the shower/toilet/sink. Felt very comfortable here. We would love to try a room with a private bathroom (it was so booked up when we tried to get one initially so book way in advance!) I love that the beach was only a 4 minute walk and access to the main streets was only an alley walk away from the house. No complaints at all after this stay. When we sat out on the porch each morning and night, many people would walk by making comments about how pretty and interesting the establishment was. The interior of the house smells super good and is clean. Highly recommend staying here! Overall 5/5 stars and we will definitely be back next year
