Teachers meet students where they are at and help them grow. Social-emotional development is also a big area of focus. Students are kind towards each other and they engage in projects to teach them things like gratitude and appreciation for others. FWA also has a great sense of community. If there is ever a concern school leadership is there to listen and help any way they can. I'm so glad I found this school for my child.

And there is a reasonable amount of h/w per night. I remember the pre-k teachers and how sweet and considerate they were. I remember being held and comforted when I was sad :) If you have any emotional struggles you will find kind and loving friends there to comfort you. Though the lower campus DOES have an issue dealing with bullies, it has gotten better. And because of them, the person who used to physically abuse me has COMPLETELY changed and has become a better person. They have also trusted in Christ more. Side-note: If you or your child feels uncomfortable with anything or anyone, you can just ask a member of the faculty if you and them can talk later.

But our child's teacher had a multi-page matrix for our child's cognitive, motor, and emotional (maybe more) development. My wife and I were floored. The teacher asked if we had any questions at the end of the conference. We were like, "we love you?" When we met with the director for our first tour, she explained how their goal was to raise nice, respectful citizens. For example, they teach recycling. When we visited the class rooms with the director, the kids knew her by name and were excited to see her. This did not happen at the other learning center we visited. We later discovered the director enthusiastically leads sing-alongs. Lil Goldman has relieved our stress from raising our first child. We could not have been happier with our choice.

Our youngest child has now been at Lil Goldman for 2.5 years and loves it. He is building social and language skills that will prepare him for elementary school. We feel that Lil Goldman offers a safe, fun environment. We have experienced three different pre-Ks because we've moved a few times and Lil Goldman is by far the best one we've experienced. This hundred year old school has the best staff, teachers, and as a result students I have ever witnessed in a public school. They had activities for the children to participate in every month and cute ways to involve the parents in all of them. It is a quiet small community that do any and everything to make sure those children want for nothing and get an education that rivals any private school. I was expected to communicate with the Child Nutrition Assistant regarding the utility's at the school, amongst other things that pertained to food safety requirements. One would assume that is not a difficult expectation but considering the unpredictable provoking behavior from this woman on a regular basis, it turned what I thought to be a great position into a complete nightmare. I was only there for a year and it certainly had a negative impact on my mental health. Her manager and the principal all share a relationship privately so accountability was not a factor in resolving the matter appropriately. I would hate to have my child attend any school where they do not practice what they preach or consider what any individual may be going through outside of those doors. It is truly heartbreaking.
