I was overcharged!…read more I scheduled a hair and makeup appointment for prom. Ultimately on the day of my appointment I decided on a style I saw in a picture and showed my stylist. My stylist explained to me it would just be my hair curled and then a Bobby pin to pull a front section back. My hair turned out nicely, but only if I knew that one Bobby pin cost me $25!!! I think that is a little unreasonable because if I were told that one Bobby pin would make my total $25 more expensive, I would have not paid for it. Also to mention that when I was checked in, nobody offered me anything to drink. This would not have been a problem if the lady checked in after me wasn't politely greeted, offered, and served a glass of water. Perhaps it was my age, but regardless, I am a paying customer. Considering I waited 30 minutes for my appointment to start, it was infuriating that somebody who waited 5 minutes got water in that short amount of time. My makeup did turn out nicely. And so did my hair! But perhaps being older would have made my experience more enjoyable.

I booked specifically with her the next time, and due to some circumstances out of her control she wasn't able to be in that day. There was some miscommunication with the shop and through the app, but one of the other stylists was actually able to work me in and the haircut turned out great. The TVs at the individual stations are a nice touch and I appreciate the hot towel and hair wash so I don't walk out itchy.
