Instead of replacing all the windows around the house like all the window selling people are telling us, Rob offered to fix the windows for a much better pricing. We are so happy with the result we asked them to remodel our three bathrooms. Again, their quote was better than the other 8 companies we compared with. Their timing and flexibility was better as well! Throughout the process of bathroom remodeling, they were extremely helpful, accommodating and easy to work with. From picking tiles and helping us with the pickup (usually pretty expensive), to going out of their ways to seal cracks for us on the wall and hanging paintings for my mom. They even offered to walk my dog when they were working with us. They are excellent at what they do. See images for the before and after of the bathrooms. We love our 3 bathrooms now. They were able to accommodate everything we asked them too. Including changing old electric outlets, adding a shower in the guest bathroom, and switching the vent to a heated vent. They even helped to fix my kitchen sink that a plumber failed after trying for 3 days! They are also honest people. I did notice a cracked window and Rob immediately ordered a new one and covered the cost. So they do honor their warranty on their work. When I called for service, I was initially offered an appointment in early August. After I objected, I was offered July 23. Only after I asked to speak with a supervisor and repeatedly emphasized that this was a three-day-old installation involving an exterior door that could not be secured did they arrange for someone to come the next day. The windows were also left with noticeable smudges, grime, and adhesive residue that I had to clean myself. I also received no useful walkthrough on how to remove the sliding sash for exterior cleaning. I appreciate that they eventually scheduled a next-day visit, but I should not have had to push multiple times for a basic security problem on a brand-new installation to be treated urgently. At this point, my overall experience is about 6/10, pending whether the service visit actually resolves the problem. Update: Wallside sent someone out next day to address all my issues. Our main issue of contention is the lack of return communication once the money was received, not advising us of what Wallside Windows deemed faulty construction, and thus placing us in a position of losing a large sum of money or potentially having an inferior window installed, which could cause future structural damage to our home. Let's start with the "Poor Construction Waiver" you sent us, after the fact, which makes us give up all recourse for any type of window failure. Why was this waiver necessary when your salesman AND "Measure Man" both personally saw the area and took photographs? At no point did you let us know there may be an issue, not even when you asked for additional photos. You didn't explain that there were concerns with the existing construction or that a waiver might be required, EVER. Based on your appointment at our home, shouldn't you have been able to identify and clearly explain any concerns before moving the project forward? On Wallside's website, it clearly states salespeople are trained. Instead, after receiving Wallside's opinion, we were informed that we had only two options: sign the "Poor Construction Waiver," which would give up all recourse if anything fails with that window, or lose all our loan funds. We were not afforded a reasonable opportunity to explore alternative resolutions before being compelled to sign the waiver. To independently evaluate your concerns, we asked our contractor to inspect the area in question. The owner of the company disagrees with your assessment and has stated that, if all the windows, including this one, are installed properly, the existing construction should not pose any issues. At this point, it should be clear that we are far from satisfied customers, particularly since this is the largest and most expensive window included in our purchase. The manner in which this situation has been handled raises serious concerns regarding your company's professionalism, transparency, and business practices. As a result, we intend to bring this matter to the attention of the appropriate departments within the State of Michigan, as well as the Better Business Bureau.

The next he had a court date one a Sunday. Then he couldn't work because his brakes went out on his work van. Excuse after excuse. We had to hire new contractors who now say everything has to be removed because nothing was done right. We have retained attorney Bruce Townsley of Ziegler Law to sue him for the excess in labor and materials that we now have to pay someone else to repair what's been damaged by Charles Bevier and his fraudulent company. We found out that he is not licensed through our state and everything he has done to our home is illegal. I'm sure this is not the reputation that Angi's List worked to hard to have. He also used the name Angi on his Google review that he was a 5 out of 5 star review.

Larry even saved a few bricks from the old porch, and fixed the bricks that were "descaling", he DID NOT have to do that. I wanted to support a local, family owned business. The job was seemingly a success. Everything appeared to be well done. We were told to keep the porch sealed. That sounded strange to me since I have seen porches on houses that are 50+ years old that have never been sealed and have stood the test of time and the elements. We sealed the porch that first year. After winter I noticed a hairline crack by the front door. Not pleased, but I didnt feel it was a big enough issue to contact the company. Year 2, I started to see rust spots, I assumed it was the metal awning dripping onto the concrete. I still saw no reason to contact Cassino. This winter it was necessary to put ice melt on our porch and approach. Not salt, ice melt (eco, pet, and I assumed concrete safe). Apparently not safe for concrete. Our porch is crumbling! Only the edges though, which funnily enough had no "salt"! The entire top layer is chipping and peeling off. If this is a matter of skimping on good, quality concrete for profit, it is criminal! So really we bought a $30,000 project! I wonder what other issues will arise? By the sound of it, based on these other reviews it wouldn't do any good to contact the company anyway. If I could do it over, I would do my due diligence to ensure we were getting a company that uses the highest quality materials. Don't make the same mistake we did.
