I purchased a new 2024 240 SS LPX in May/30/2024. With only 18 hours on the boat and I have more than 18 gel cracks in the boat, all observed coming from manufacturer installed screw locations. Crownline has requested I drive the boat to them, and pay for half of the repairs, with no warranty for future cracks or warranty on cracks they repair. This is a new boat, which was very well taken care of. To add I did not get to run the boat much that first summer because of part which allowed cooling water to the engine kept coming off. I later found out that this part was recalled in 2020. How does a part get recalled in 2020 and not get caught by the dealer on a 2024 boat. It took me 3 times taking it into the mechanic to have it repaired. Then the dealer calls me and tells me I have to take into a factory authorized mechanic to have the recalled part replaced. This killed most of the summer for boating, and now Crownline is trying to get out of gel coat repairs. These cracks are mainly come from the window area, but they are all over the boat. I have them in back of the boat where lights were screwed into the hull. I have them in the front of the boat where hinges are at. I have them at snap locations where tarp is at. I have them at the cleats are at. And they are big, some 2 1/2 ft long. This is a new boat. My experience with Crownline has been a NIGHTMARE! Fixing gel cracks is not cheap! It is expected to have few on an older boat, but to 18 on a new boat is ridiculous! And to have a manufacturer run away from it is even worse. read more

My wife and I purchased a NEW 2024 220 LPX on October 30, 2024 from an authorized Crownline Dealer in Lake Havasu City. Over the last 4 plus months we have used our new boat sporadically and only have approx. 14 hours on the water at this time. Overall, we have had a great experience with the dealer although they have continued to have delays in getting answers to warranty repairs that need addressing and that were noted initially with Crownline. Ultimately it was suggested that I as the owner contact Crownline about the warranty issues. The issues are a small spider crack in the paint/gel coat next to the bow anchor lid. In late January 2025 we were asked by the Crownline claims department ( L, Whitworth) to obtain a bid for repair which was obtained at $760.00. this was ultimately forwarded to claims. This has now been refused to repair under the warranty. The other warranty issue still being asked for were the FACTORY installed fender inserts as part of the original boat build. The bow inserts were installed to low and cannot and have not been used as they do not clear the exterior boat flaring trim. If used this would cause damage to the side of the boat. Numerous pictures have been sent to claims and we are being told they will not be fixed as this is customer abuse!! Additionally, we are also now being told that due to purchasing this brand-new boat at year end pricing no warranties will be honored! Accordingly, I have sent 3 emails to Kevin Riem asking for some help on these issues with no responses received. I have also contacted L. Whitworth in claims with phone calls and have not received any call backs. Needless to say, at this time my wife and I are very disappointed in the total handling, lack of communication and failure to handle obvious warranty repairs. I purchased a 260XS new in January 2022. I like the boat; however, the aft floor drains never empty. They both always have water slightly over the top of each and never go down. dealer says nothing wrong. While replacing the bilge pump I took pictures of the hoses. Exit hole on each side of the boat is at the same height at the floor drain, so they will never drain. Hull drains should have been slightly lower. read more

The arrogance of this company is without equal. I have repeatedly contacted them with specific questions regarding our boat, and they simply ignore my requests. Our boat sustained some minor gelcoat damage from trailering, and we also just had a limb fall on our boat and now have to have a broken windshield repaired. Crownline's warranty implies that if we have repairs done by anyone other than a Crownline dealer, our warranty could be adversely affected. I do not trust Causeway Marina (that's material for another review), the dealer who sold us the boat, and want to avoid going back to them if at all possible. I have tried to contact Crownline to get approval to go to another repair facility, and no one will return my phone calls or emails with answers to my questions. When I call, all the receptionist does is transfer me to the general customer service voice mailbox, and calls go unanswered. I have also tried to get answers via email, and those requests are ignored as well. In one of his videos, Kevin Riem bloviates about Crownline being "lucky enough to earn your business," but yet they ignore their customers when they have questions. We are now in a situation where we really need answers and support from the company that built our boat, and we are all alone. Based on past experience, I knew this day would come.......it was just a matter of time. Please note that the one star I gave them in this review is merely a formality to meet the requirement for posting the review. If I could give zero, I would. Update: Today (9-26-22), after making 27 attempts at calling Crownline and being transferred to their general customer service mailbox every time (I've never gotten a return call after leaving a message here), I sent one last email to the marketing director and cc'd Kevin Riem, VP. He responded, telling me to look elsewhere for answers to my questions. read more

I would like voice my concern and extreme dissatisfaction on my recent experience with Crownline Boats. I had an issue with an important item/feature that was supposed to come with my purchased boat 1.5 years ago. The item wasn't available due to supply chain issues at that time. I had communicated to crownline (Kevin Riem and Dan Hasshaw) , that I would wait for the item to be available, as opposed to getting a credit. They then turned around and wanted to charge me for these items, as well as to wait an additional 3 - 4 months to receive the item, after 1.5 years. There was documentation and extended communications to corroborate the intent and next steps. Unfortunately, my dealership has dropped crownline, and I had to try to work through this with Kevin and Dan. It is very disappointing to have the dishonesty and lack of integrity from the crownline in the handling of the situation. They speak of Customer Satisfaction and Ownership in seeing these situations through, but when the rubber meets the road, all I have received is "Back Peddling", lack of core values and dishonesty at best, which leaves a pit my stomach on my decision to go with Crownline. When making a purchase on a high price luxury item, you would hope the manufacturer would have some integrity, ownership, and honesty behind the sale from day 0 through day 2. That is not the case with Kevin and Dan at crownline and truly questions my decision to go with Crownline! read more

I purchased a crownline bowrider 19 ft 190 hp boat and have had nothing but problems with the cheaply made upholstery, radio, and rear speackers which are above the backwash and not water resistant. Company automatically denies any warranty claim and seems to only us corrupt dealers to sell and service their boats. Don't buy!!! read more

We had delamination problems with our Crownline boat's hull with less then 80 hours on it. Crownline would not return my 5+ phone calls or 5+ emails, Had to Fedex a letter to Tony Zielinski ( owner of the company) before they would even have the courtesy to contact me back (never heard a word from the owner even after I had to send the letter to him directly). They agreed to "look" at the boat if "I paid in advance the roundtrip shipping" to ship it to Crownline ($2,200). They said they would "consider repairing it at my cost". I agreed to pay to have it shipped back to them. 6 months go by and they don't arrange for the shipping and I never hear from them. Now when I call, they say the person who made those promises is no longer there and I am out of luck and they refused to help. Say they are too understaffed to be able to look at it or repair it. Took the boat to local dealer, dealer said they could not handle the repair themselves only Crownline factory could do it. Agreed that it looked to be a quality problem!. My insurance company sent a surveyor to check it out. His conclusion was "consistent with latent defect from he manufacturer" " This type of damage is consistent with poor workmanship related to lay up procedures during the building process". All I asked was for help repairing the problem, I was even going to pay for the shipping, the labor and the materials, they agreed to help and now they basically say F.U! Probably one of the most unprofessional companies( and group of employees and owners) I have every dealt with in 40 years! ( on a personal or professional level).
