Essie was a lovely person to talk to and I enjoyed her prompt response. I was happy with how my carpet turned out, but disappointed in the rest of my house. I had just purchased a house. It was completely empty. Due to not needing to move furniture I would have expected this job to have been easier and all parts of my home flawless, given the price I paid. There was still dust on my blinds and counters and floors were not thoroughly cleaned. The toilets did sparkle and the house smelled clean, but other than that I was underwhelmed with the cleaning job. I paid for the move in cleaning service with an additional carpet clean. The service was $450 dollars, which was not cheap. I do admit there are several hard to reach places in my home; I wish during the estimate I was told these wouldn't be able to be cleaned and that I could have paid a lower price. I'd like to once again bring up that she did tell me if I was unhappy to tell her. I appreciated that comment, but I'm the type of person who wants something to be right the first time and not the second. Then she mentioned she was getting to the appliances which was fine because we agreed she was not going to clean them and open ups my refrigerator door and comments that my house is dirty!!! weird because you are a cleaning service, if my house was clean I would not have needed the service!!! and then she mentioned that she was not going to get the baseboards and then I mentioned how in the invoice it mentions ALL baseboards. Two hours later Essie called me and mentioned that they were able to get to everything but the living room and it would be an extra $100 to finish cleaning that. ahh no, thank you. The next day my roommates and I went to check the house and were surprised at how dirty the house still was. The kitchen did not look like it was cleaned at all. Even though I was unhappy with the service I decided that I would not make a big fuss about it and let it go. Essie was nice, however, the cleaning was not up to snuff. Was quoted an outrageous amount for a deep clean. Asked her to come down on price, and she did, but she and her assistant spent less than 2hrs in my house that had 2500+sf. I called them 2 days ago and scheduled a time for them to come out to give me a price for washing walls but 30 minutes after they were supposed to be at my home I called them back. I was told by the lady that answered that her husband was doing a carpet job and wont answer her phone. She asked if I could schedule it another time or day. I advised her I could wait 2 hours. An hour and a half later I received a text (not a call) that he could not make it. Ann and Calvin came this morning to clean my condo after my tenants moved out. They were only there an hour but they cleaned both my bathrooms and kitchen from top to bottom! Unreliable! Terrible customer service! If I could I would give a -0. I called thesis business a week ago and set up an appointment for yesterday for someone to come by and look at my home and give me a quote on a move out cleaning. No one showed up at the appointment time so I called them. The owner answered and I inquired as to why no one showed up. She told me she didn't know about it, then told me to hold while she checked. She found my appointment but told me that two of her employees were out sick and the person who was supposed to do my appointment was sent out on a cleaning! I asked her why I wasn't called and was told that she hadn't looked at the notes her employee left! She then indicated more than once that sending her employee to do the cleaning was more important...I can somewhat understand that, but it's common courtesy and good business to check your schedules and contact the person who is waiting for someone to show up to let them know that they can't make the appointment! She then said she would go ahead and come over herself. When she arrived I was still a bit upset because from the beginning she made me feel as though I wasn't of much importance and she still had the same attitude when she got to my home. I told her it was a move out cleaning and it should be a fairly easier clean because there wouldn't be any furniture in the home. She immediately responded "uh huh that it would not be easier cleaning"...making comments with an attitude about everything they would have to do. My thoughts were it was stuff that would have to be done in a regular cleaning anyway "minus" all of the furniture they wouldn't have to dust! And it smelled great! Everyone was so nice and the owner is so personable and easy to work with. If we were staying here in the area longer we would hire them for regular cleans. With all of the great reviews, I thought I'd take a chance and I'm SO glad I did. Our house was spotless!! Essie came on time and wished me a Merry Christmas as soon as I opened the door. She was so kind and confident that I felt good about my decision to hire CRP immediately (before they ever cleaned a thing). She came in alone first and walked through the house with me, room by room. I had another cleaning service come years before and they just all came in and dispersed throughout my house, barely saying a word to me and it made me so uncomfortable. Essie was the complete opposite and I greatly appreciated that! She assured me that I would love how thorough she and her team were and she didn't disappoint! I wanted a deep clean and that's exactly what I got! I have NEVER had a company or an individual clean the way Essie and her team did. They hand washed my blinds, got down on their hands and knees to deep clean my kitchen floors and also hand washed my base boards!! I mean, no stone was left unturned! Additionally, they cleaned with natural products so my house didn't smell like chemicals. Cleaning was excellent and she was able to make it happen with only a weeks notice of our move out. The only issue we had was that she turned the self cleaner on in the oven and then left so when we returned our apartment was full of smoke. CRP are lifesavers! I flew to Cincinnati to help my daughter get settled into her new place in a new city. We were so excited for move in day.... until we saw the apartment had been left in such poor shape, that we couldn't unload a single box. Everything needed wiping, cleaning and a thorough scrubbing. It was such a disappointment. We knew it would take us hours to clean, which meant we couldn't really enjoy our time together - or get anything done as we couldn't unpack until we went out and bought the cleaning supplies to get the job done. (All she had was packed in her car from college - and it didn't include a broom, mop, vacuum or cleaning stuff). We called around to find out who might have an opening in the next day or two (on a weekend), and CRP came to the rescue! We got a quick call back, and they promised to come that day! Such a relief. I only hoped that they would do a good job and we would do a deeper job on our own as we unpacked. I had no expectation that the job would be done to my standard of cleanliness.(I just haven't had good thorough cleaning experiences in the past.) When they were finished, there was no need for us to do a thing! The CRP team really went to work, and made her move to Cincinnati the welcome it should have been. I have a new secret weapon in Cincinnati against stains and general grossness! And it is CRP Cleaning! I've dealt with a LOT of contractors over the years, as I used to do property management here in the Mason area. I've dealt with dozens of carpet and home cleaners, and have NEVER been satisfied. From the popular yellow van carpet cleaners to the little blue car maids, I've never had them leave without having to call them back, or be so frustrated that I just simply wouldn't use them again. Inevitebly they are late, they don't do what they say they will, they miss things (I once had a cleaner "miss" cleaning the fridge in a vacant)They charge too much, take too long, and never do it as good as I could have done it myself. Now, confession time my carpets were NASTY. Im talking 6 week old puppy who peed all over while potty training, four year old boy with chocolate milk and kinetic sand on CREAM carpet - nasty. So I resigned myself to losing a $3,500 deposit and having to pay to replace 2,000 sq ft of cream carpet. (Never put cream in a rental. Ever.) So we had CRP clean our rental completely. They gave me a bid so low I did a double take. Now I've done a LOT of turns in my day. I've hired and viewed dozens of contractors and bids. I have no idea how they charged what they did and made any money. Seriously. They got there at 8 am and were leaving at 8pm. All. Day. Long. They didn't stop. They didn't take breaks. They just got it DONE. They worked MAGIC in my house. Like if I hadn't seen them there all day cleaning and scrubbing, I would have thought they waved a wand, kind of magic. The fridge that was in our garage (we brought our own appliances) had been sitting out there for 8 years. 8. It had bugs in it. It was disgusting. I would put food in it now! It gleams! It sparkles! They breathed new life in to this old appliance! They cleaned floor grates and ceiling fan blades and inside light fixtures and cabinets and everything! I could not find a SINGLE thing to nitpick over! And the carpets. Omg. The carpets. The basement was the issue. We are talking set in, pet urine stains. We are talking odor. And nasty nasty carpet. So what it boils down to, is this.Call Essie. No, no, call her. Now. And say "shut up and take my money" because this is the BEST carpet and cleaning company in Cinci. They don't just steam clean carpet. They scrub it. And what about those stains, you ask? Did they come back? A few. And Essie and Calvin came right back out and treated again and those stains haven't been seen since. They guarantee their work. They are local. They are small. They are amazing.
