The friend sent me a screenshot of the exact card I'd need so that all I needed was do a quick word search of the product name, click on the product listing, select the desired memory card size and quantity details, open an online account, set up my credit card details, choose a shipping method cost, then approve the purchase. The cheapest shipping was $4.01 for the $36 item, and they also charged tax. That was it! I received the boxed up item within good time. The box was free of any damage and still looked like it was a fresh, new box. This is a good vendor for memory cards. The options availability and pricing even with the shipping make shopping online here indeed a good deal. The owner, Sultan Shariff told me he would install it on my computer at a student discount rate of $100. He installed the software and provided a printed receipt that reflected a total cost of $113.30 with tax and surcharge. No other details regarding the product are on the receipt. When I got home and reviewed the product key he texted to me I saw it was for Office 2021, not the current version 2024. I called Microsoft to discuss the differences and found out that Office 2021 would no longer be supported by Microsoft as of October 2026. That is less than 60 days from installation. I contacted Mr. Shariff because he did not disclose that he was installing old software that would be too obsolete to merit support and updates from Microsoft. I am a senior citizen and feel duped. This is Mr. Shariff's field of expertise and I believe he was well aware he was installing outdated software on the computer of an unsuspecting customer. If Mr. Shariff had informed me that he would be installing an older version of the software for $100, versus the current 2024 version, I would have declined the installation. I requested a refund and also attempted to offer a compromise on the amount of the refund request. He declined, saying no refund is provided once the software has been installed. He offered to install Office 2024 for an additional cost. I declined because I had been misled by his lack of disclosure and trust was broken. I am out of $100 and still have to purchase Office 2024. Seeking recourses for restitution.

I wish…read moreI was exaggerating, but I dropped off my gaming laptop with a pretty gnarly screen dislocation on it. They took apart the entire device, screen and all, only for them to realize it was unfixable due to the way the motherboard was built. My laptop was at least usable before, now it has no screen and is basically split into two pieces. What's even worse is that I went to discuss what happened and the store manager had the audacity to ask "Do you want to call him to see what he wants to do?" Umm.....bold assumption to think that I was not the one using the device. I then corrected him that I was the owner of the device, not any male related to me. He remarked that I'm one of just a few pc gamers that are female. Even if that may be true, it was wildly unprofessional and off putting. I'll never forget that icky feeling I had when I left the store. He didn't bother to refund me the service cost even though all he did was take it apart and destroy what I had left of it. I'm sure these guys are reliable otherwise, but I don't think I'll be back based on this doozy of an experience.
