The staff seemed uninterested in helping customers, and I felt rushed while placing my order. Okay y'all I finally understand the hype. I had a reward from buying a 12 pack for a party... so since we were visiting family we decided to stop in and use that reward. The place was clean, and you can watch the employees prepping the cookies by hand when you walk in. The cookies are pretty big and super rich. You can easily share 1 cookie 4 ways and be satisfied. Their flavors are unique and delicious and man, we sure had a happy 7 year old. Lol They aren't cheap so certainly a special treat... but totally worth the splurge for a birthday or special event. read more

Yelp deems a 3-star rating as "ok". I concur. The cyclic cookie menu changes so customers get a pretty good variety in addition to a few staples that seem to be fan favorites. I'm a stickler for service & the level of service at this restaurant is pretty minimal. I've visited a few times on varying days/times all to be met with a similar lack of care regarding all customers. Some went in with enthusiasm & were immediately brought down by the young staff. I tried to make small talk with the staff, all to be met with either no response, which is always awkward or made to feel like I was an annoyance. The products themselves are always overly sweet, which must be an attempt to make up for the somewhat sour employee attitudes. The cookies literally make my teeth hurt & even my husband & kids who love sweets, find these too sweet & often split a single cookie & sometimes don't finish their half. For a lack of service & A lack of quality product, I've decreased 1 star each which reflects my 3 star rating. I'll not go back but I'm glad options exist for others to choose from. read more

TL;DR Awful recipes served raw. My wife received a gift card recently and decided to try this place today to see if it lived up to the hype. All of the cookies we received were under-baked, with raw dough. Cutting them in half revealed wet dough interiors inside a thin layer of crunchy exterior. Tasting them yielded no insight other than unbalanced flavor that can't keep up with the amount of pure sugar. Save money and buy pre-made TollHouse cookie dough at the grocery store--eat it raw and it will be similarly cooked and taste better. Crumbl's hype is undeserved. read more

Our daughter had a party and one of her friends brought some for everyone to try. She said 6 cookies are $25?! Wow! I figured they must be pretty damn good to charge that much. Tried a couple and they were just ok at best. Not much flavor and a lot of plain, thick dough. It's a hard pass for me especially at the over inflated prices. I looked up pricing and store information on the internet for Crumbl Cookies and for some reason the Redding store is charging almost double what the rates listed on the company website has posted. Supposed to be around $13 for 6, not $25! Maybe the Redding store management / owners can explain this discrepancy. I did make sure to enter what state I was inquiring about for accurate pricing. I also called the Chico Ca store to ask about pricing and they charge the listed prices in the attached picture from the company website. The Redding store has some explaining to do as to why they are not in line with company pricing! I'm seriously considering reporting this to the corporate offices. Not ok! read more

Just meh. The cookies are overly sweet. Like really sweet. regular cookies like peanut butter or chocolate chip are ok but so sweet. the topped cookies are too sweet to eat. we had a caramel cheesecake cookie, which is just a sugar cookie topped with caramel and some cheesecake-like speed, and it was too sweet to eat, like toothache sweet. The line is long, with only one person taking orders. Go buy some Pillsbury refrigerated cookie dough, you'll be happier and save yourself the $50 for a dozen price.. read more

Someone surprised me with a Crumbl Celebration cake. Took one small bite and my tongue and the inside of my mouth went numb. Called them to learn the ingredients so I could see what might have caused an allergic reaction. (I don't have known allergies except some nightshades). Oh let's see: white cake mix, vanilla, and canola oil. I asked, "And sugar, right?" (The thing drips in white icing and colored sprinkles.) Her answer: Well, that's not listed but it's probably in the cake mix. I had to ask why a bakery doesn't make their own cake batter. She said because they use a mix. Well, don't call yourself a bakery if you use a cake mix and can't tell people on the receiving end what the ingredients are. Such a bad cake to boot; my kid wouldn't even eat it. Insult to injury: a 5" cake costing $20. It was so sweet of someone to surprise me and it is the thought that counts. Bugs me that a friend got so badly ripped off though. I'd recommend buying a grocery store cake over this place. You'd surely get a better product at a better price! read more

I came for the national birthday deal on 9/25 and it was HORROR! They had hardly any staff working and not enough cookies to even handle the overflow of customers. I would also like to point out specifically a worker named Emily. This employee had her hair completely down, was repeatedly putting her hands in her mouth and WORKING.
