Ok so here's the thing, everyone is saying they are too sweet and that's for sure true. However, cookies generally are very sweet, but these are so sweet that you really can only eat an inch at a time... BUT MY BIGGEST ISSUE wasn't the sweetness, it was the fact that the guy that took our order was SOOOOO rude. I made a comment about how I wanted a little cookie, and he promptly corrected me stating, "THEY ARE FOR CATERING ONLY!"... ok bro? I've never been here so how the heck would I know that?! Also the cookies are legit 5 DOLLARS. .We got three different ones to share. The pink doughnut cookie was entirely under whelming and under cooked. The maple glazed bacon was SO sweet literally I didn't even crave another bite after a tiny corner piece, and the mint was VERY overwhelming peppermint. Wild how off they got it. They are really overpriced. I'm gonna suggest a better place in this review, SUBLIME CUPCAKES is LOCAL, and their flavor profiles are TOP notch. Everything so different. And they won food network cupcake challenge many years in a row. Go get cupcakes and ditch crumbl. It was like meh. But the rude guy killed it for ever returning and the price is OUT OF TREE CRAZY. Came in today to pick up delivery orders. Like in my last review I mentioned I personally would never spend my own money at this Crumbl location. While waiting for orders, I over heard the cashier asking every customer at the register what TIP would like to leave "20%, 15%, or 10%". Im completely floored that the employees are verbally asking for tips now. It's the most uncomfortable experience. The cashier was extremely rude about it too. I can tell customers were completely taken back with the question. As customers gathered in the waiting area many were discussing how they were asked to tip so aggressively. Tasty cookies that are so full of sugar, most literally crumble in your hand. Maybe part of the attraction but I was hoping for a cookie I could eat with my hands, not with a bowl & spoon. All the employees are very young & while I appreciate them, social training could be improved. There isn't much small talk & smiles are limited. They aren't especially forthcoming with how the restaurant works per se. They let you guess & draaaaaw it from them. I got more excitment from reeling in weeds at the lake than I did trying to get information here. For those who haven't been, here's how it works; Walk in & stand in line. This is a take & go restaurant. When it's your turn to order, you spend at least $5 PER COOKIE. There are typically only 6 choices & the menu changes weekly. The smaller sized cookies "Advertised" on the counter are for catering only. Between the lack of outgoing & friendly customer service to the over priced, overly sugary cookies that literally fall all over your lap when you drive (or break in 1/2 & fall on the ground), I can't say I'll be back. I have been planning on giving cookies to those who attend my Christmas dinner. I thought it would be a nice parting gift. I went to Crumbl yesterday and the cookies were large and attractive. I only needed 10 but decided to purchase the "party box" of 12 for somewhere over $42.00. Last night I decided to try one, a chocolate chip, because they looked so wonderful. OMG!!!! That's got to be one of the worst cookies I've ever eaten! The chocolate chip cookie had no flavor at all! I only ate two bites and threw it in the trash. I then decided to try one with frosting. Oh no!!! The cookies itself had NO flavor and the frosting was so sweet I almost gagged. This morning they ALL went into the trash. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! read more

We ordered Crumbl Cookies Online and thought they were very expensive but did it anyway. Now reading other reviews I did some research of my own and "YES"discrepancies in prices all over the internet. Almost double the pricing. Talked to the manager in Redding and he explained the prices vary according to the specific market. Really, does he live here? Last I looked the economy was pretty difficult in the Redding area and statewide. With the economy so tuff right now,I wouldn't consider charging consumers double prices randomly depending where your shop is located. Sounds like a company trying to take advantage of a new store opening. You'd think the pricing would be comparable across the board. With all that being said, the cookies weren't even that good. Not worth the money. Will not be returning! Sad to say........was looking forward to supporting our local businesses. read more

Expensive. Undercooked cookie. Got my order wrong. It was about $5 a cookie. They showed me my order before I walked out the door and I didn't realize it until I got home that it was wrong. They eliminated my favorite choice - an iced sugar cookie and replaced it with a chocolate chip mint cookie. The plain chocolate chip cookie was gross- it was completely under baked. Half raw. Do not understand the appeal of this chain - at all. Basically they have a "base" cookie (sugar, chocolate, etc) and frost it to make multiple "different" kinds. In many cases, the frosting is the differentiator. The problem is, the base cookie just isn't cooked well. They're too thick, doughy and basically unpleasant, which is weird because they are loaded with sugar, so they should be great. If you MUST get your sweet fix here, the Chocolate Chip is the safest bet. All the sugar cookie based ones are not good, in my sampling (we bought a large box to try one of each and regretted it). I will say that it's not just the Redding store. This is a chainwide cookie recipe problem apparently. We tried Crumbl in Oregon last year, and it was also not great, either. If you're looking to sate your sweet tooth, try a local star like Sublime gourmet cupcakes on Park Marina, instead. Pricing is similar (half off sat mornings with day-old) and the quality/treat experience is much higher. read more

Okay, we gave in and returned to Crumbl, hooked on the very rich warm fresh cookies. Only we discovered how inconsistent they are when on our first order was received with three cookies that were fresh and warm and delicious, but one cookie was hard as a rock and ice cold. On our second visit we ordered two cookies that were presented in their little pink boxes, only to discover each cookie was cold and inedible. We were insulted, disappointed and angry, $5.00 for a cold cookie, you have got to be kidding. No respectable bakery or supermarket sells cold refrigerated cookies presented as edible cookies. Hands down best cookies I've ever had. I scoffed at their price for a 4 pack and avoided the place for some time until I seen the size of these dense fat heaven cakes. If you can get past the terrible personalities at the register then dive into delicious diabetes and get mad at how good these cookies are. Customer service at this store has been disappointing. I waited at curbside for 20 minutes, then went into store to pick up my order. I was informed by one of the staff that they were aware I had been at curbside waiting but, they "didn't feel like going outside " to bring my order. I asked for a name and contact of store manager and was informed they cannot provide that information, then took my name and number and said I'd be contacted by manager. Never received a call.
