It arrived quickly, hot, and even more filling and flavorful than I expected. Beyond that, Upshot offers an ample menu of other breakfast and lunch options; my wife ordered a Turkey Sando and custom-made iced vanilla latte with oatmilk. We don't get that many beautiful days in the midst of St. Louis winter; I'm glad I could spend one at Upshot's flagship cafe, and excited to see how their other locations compare.

I actually watched the Coming Soon banner in front of the store when I drove by to work while I was pregnant. When I went on maternity leave, I would take my brand-new baby there, then sit in the car with her and eat my donut and drink my chocolate milk. It was our little outing together. When I returned to work, I would sometimes treat myself to an Old Fashioned donut on Fridays, and sometimes even the flavor of the day. I don't think they do that any more and I really miss the flavor-of-the-day donuts! One of my favorites was the peanut butter flavor. I've watched this location grow over the years and add more drinks and other options, but one thing has never changed: the donuts are still delicious.
