    Afterlife Cake (Beetlejuice)

I love having fresh baked cookies out. And Crumbl does not disappoint. They always have awesome flavor lineups, that change weekly. Anything with chocolate is my favorite. For this review, I had the afterlife cake, strawberry shortcake, triple chocolate chip, and regular chocolate chip. All of these were excellent and delicious. I especially loved the Beetlejuice inspired one, as that was extra chocolate flavorful. Highly recommended everyone try this place.

I recently visited Crumbl in Holmdel and ordered the ginger snap cookie. The cookie was delicious, and I loved having an option that wasn't too sweet or loaded with icing. Everyone was so friendly at this location and I was given great recommendations by the employee who rang us up when I asked about the cookies that week! The inside is cute (standard Crumbl cookie decor/layout) and doesn't have a seating area, so there are a few nearby benches outside to use, but the cookies are mainly to take to go.

I was excited to try Crumbl Cookies as I love cookies fresh out the oven. The cookies look beautiful, and they come in pretty pink boxes. I purchased the chocolate chip cookie and a sugar cookie with lemon icing. Both of the cookies tasted bland to me. The chocolate chips weren't melty at all. You couldn't even taste the milk chocolate in the chocolate chips. The chocolate chip cookie was disappointing. The sugar cookie was much better, but still overall ok. It was good, but not great. The cookies tasted underbaked. They were decent, but not amazing. I'd come back and give this place another shot.

I've been seeing Crumbl all over social media, but there aren't any near me, so we drove 2 hours yesterday just to try them out. In my opinion, it was so worth the drive because they were amazing! I got one of each flavor, so I could taste them all. My favorite from this batch was pancake, but they were all so good. I love how they change their flavors each week because you'll never get bored and you'll always find something you like. I wish I lived closer so I can try more flavors, but I'll definitely have to take another trip here soon.

These cookies do not live up to the hype. They are basically plain cookies with toppings on top. They almost are half baked as the middle can be deemed "raw" to some. The chocolate chip cookie is good but it's not 4.25 dollars good. That price point mimics Levain's and Crumbl's chocolate chip can't compete. However, Crumbl's chocolate chip cookie is a good cookie for a chain and I would pick it over a ton of other chocolate chip options (if it were a little cheaper). Nonetheless, if you want cookies with toppings and the flavors of the week interest you then enjoy. It's worth a try but I don't think it's worth going multiple times.

3.5 stars. Super super sweet cookies. Feels quite cake-y, so it tastes much more like a cake than a well solidified cookie. Very thick and heavy - would be optimal if there were smaller versions.

Craving something sweet Crumbl is a must try. Cookies are deliciously addicting. Purchased a 6 pack of cookies they were still warm and smelled amazing. Sweet and chewy I highly recommend.

    Pretty pink box

We were excited to try these. What a disappointment. They are bland, and taste raw and underbaked. We were shocked. And they're expensive! Over $4 per cookie. They are a large, very thick cookie, and definitely not worth the price for the quality. We cut these up so the 4 of us could try each flavor. None of us liked them. Very few flavors to select from and the 6 flavors change weekly. Flavors are targeted for kids in my opinion. I can't see the Crumbl chain being successful with this business model, it's too limited, and they need a better cookie recipe. Store was clean. Staff was friendly. Plenty of parking available.

I decided I wanted to treat myself to a little cake. I usually visit a local bakery for cakes, mini desserts, and cannolis. It's generally pretty good, although it can be a bit hit or miss depending on what you order. While searching online for bakeries nearby, this place came up with stellar reviews. I was surprised to see it was only about an 11-minute drive from my house, so I decided to make the trip. The bakery was set up much like a classic neighborhood bakery, with beautiful cakes displayed along one side and cases filled with mini desserts, pastries, cookies, and cannolis. While chatting with the staff, I mentioned the bakery I usually go to. That's when they told me that bakery actually gets its cakes from Normandie. I found that fascinating because I had always assumed every bakery made its own cakes from scratch. Suddenly, a lot made sense. I had originally planned on buying a small birthday cake, but since it was only for two people, I decided to put together an assortment of mini desserts instead. I picked up tiramisu, carrot cake, lemon cake, and several other mini cakes. Every single one was outstanding. Not one dessert missed the mark. The carrot cake was moist, the tiramisu was perfectly balanced, and the lemon cake was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh, high-quality, and thoughtfully made. The minis were slightly smaller than the ones I'm used to buying elsewhere, but honestly, they were the perfect size. Now that I know where those cakes are actually coming from, I'll happily make the extra 11-minute drive and buy directly from the source. This will absolutely be my new go-to bakery for birthdays, special occasions, and hostess gifts. A wonderful birthday discovery that turned into finding my new favorite bakery.

Did I mention that the did was fresh?! Wow! Mmm! My boyfriend had the combination fajita. He made the same comment... sooo fresh! We almost didn't stay because when we entered the establishment, other than the one family that was already seated at a table, there was no one to be found. Just before I was going to walk out, a young man walked out from the kitchen and told us we could sit where we wanted to. He brought menus and asked us what we'd like to drink. After mentioning a few things that included unsweet iced tea and Pellegrino, we asked for the tea. He returned to say they were out. We then asked for the Pellegrino, but he immediately stated they didn't have any. We opted for the mineral water. We were brought a small tray with chips and salsa. Once again, very fresh and the salsa was amazing. I did have to ask for napkins. All in all, I'll definitely be visiting this restaurant again

I ordered two hard rolls . They looked great. Got home and just now was going to make lunch with them. I have to say so disappointed. I asked for two "hard" rolls and boy did I get them. As I browsed the display case, one item immediately caught my eye: the Strawberry Croissant. My love of croissants and strawberries made the decision an easy one. For my complimentary drink, I selected the Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew. Both choices hit the spot for my craving. The croissant was a good treat, and the cold brew provided a nice boost of caffeine to keep me going through the rest of the day. Moments like this remind me why I am glad I downloaded the app. Between the rewards and occasional free treats, it is a nice perk for anyone who visits regularly. Things were wild yet well managed on the grand opening day, and nearly entirely half of the space is dedicated to seating - either at tables or high window tops with stools - so that your chances of finding a place to park and chill with a few pastries remains relatively high. For the lovers of sweets out there, there's a lot to explore. Mochi donuts, inventive cereal-based treats, and all kinds of croissants with all kinds of flavors. But for me, the real hidden gems are seemingly plain and savory offerings. Any of the milk bread loaves are unimaginably soft and elevate any sandwich or French toast I might make that week. I'm also an enormous fan of their sandwiches and pizza-like breads (which - hot tip - can be warmed for you upon purchase). On another note, I've noticed - and chuckled at - the complaints about the self-service aspect about this establishment from other reviewers. I imagine that's what happens when a Korean bakery is planted in an area that doesn't have many others. In some parts, where there are spots with Asian bakeries on every other block, it's seems a common thing to have customers picking up their own pastries with tongs. But I'll offer this as a broad panacea to any paranoia about cleanliness - during my visit, I loved seeing how frequently the workers came by with fresh pastries, which for me was assurance that - (1) everything is freshly baked, and (2) there are eyes on the pastries (and presumably any one potentially mishandling the goodies). The complex is enormous, so parking wasn't an issue even with the throngs of crowds coming by to check out the shiny new store installment.
