I finally tried this location here in Wilmington. While the cookies weren't my taste, I'll say what's neat is you can buy the regular size cookies or minis. I usually order to go or delivery. The cookies are always perfectly packaged. Always warm. I'm not going to say that I'm blown away because for me it's 50/50 with this. My kids love the weekly cookie flavors so we do buy and then they try and they definitely have their favorites. Sometimes, to me, the cookies are half baked or way too sweet. I do have some I like such as the iced oatmeal which IMO should be a standard cookie to order. To me, It's good , it's not great. To my kids they love them but they are kids and will eat anything loaded with sugar as a treat lol. But my older son has said there are times the cookies are overly sweet too. After I've been to their new location in Greensboro, I definitely had to check out this location while in town. I'm glad they finally have the Strawberry Cream. Stopped by this new cookie franchise. It's located next to the front of Starbucks, visible from College Road. It's a small place, meant for to-go orders. There is no seating inside or outside. Once you walk in, the butter and sugar aroma instantly hits you. Cookies are made fresh daily, right in front of you, at the counter. They never serve over day old cookies. Menu is simple: cookies, ice cream, milk, water. They were giving out a free chocolate chip cookie for today only so tried that, all of the other cookies, and salted caramel ice cream. The other cookie flavors available were waffle, cinnamon roll, sea salt toffee, and a chilled sugar cookie. A few of their ice cream flavors were already sold out for the day by the time I arrived, about 5:00 p.m. The cookies were served warm except for the chilled sugar cookie. The size of the cookies were not consistent. The hot chocolate cookie was a little bit over four and a half inches in diameter and 0.75 inches thick. The chocolate chip cookie was a little bit over 4 in diameter and 1 in thick. The rest of the cookies were about 4 inches diameter and 0.75 inches thick. All of the cookies were overall good. My favorites were hot chocolate, sea salt toffee, and waffle. The one thing I didn't like about the cookies is that they were too thick for my preference, thus, very soft texture. Hot chocolate cookie: It's like Swiss Miss hot chocolate. I loved the melted chocolate puddle in the middle and the tiny toasted marshmallows on top. The cookie had melted chocolate chips throughout, in each bite, and had crispy edges. Sea salt toffee cookie: I loved the melted, sticky toffee all over the cookie. Chocolate chip cookie: I liked the buttery taste, crispy edges, and soft center, but too thick! Waffle cookie: This was the most surprising cookie. The cookie by itself is just a plain buttery cookie, but with 2 special additions, it went above and beyond. Just like how diners do, they added a scoop of "butter" on top. It is the best butter icing you will ever have tasted. Next, it's served with a Log Cabin syrup single-serve pack. Now, I despise fake syrup, however, it complements this cookie perfectly. Cinnamon roll cookie: tastes just like a cinnamon roll! Chilled sugar cookie: The cookie and icing just melts in your mouth. Flavored with almond extract. The cookie packaging is cute. If you get 1-2 cookies, they are packed in a small square pink box. If you get 4 cookies, they are packed in a single layer in a rectangular pink box. I was not impressed with the salted caramel ice cream. They are premade in Michigan, packaged in half pint containers. The ice cream had a thick mouth feel but lacked flavor. After one bite, I was done. Don't recommend. Inside, they had a paper towel roll, which you will definitely need after eating a cookie, particularly the hot chocolate. Oddly enough, they were not providing spoons to eat the ice cream. That is a bit ridiculous, have they never heard of individually wrapped spoons?? So to sum it up, the cookies are worth a try, but not the ice cream. read more

I'm going w a 3.5 and go back forth between upping it to 4 because it's hard to go wrong with fresh baked cookies. But while these were on a whole tasty, they don't necessarily stand out and, even with the different flavors, they are overly sweet and too soft/lacking texture. I'd like a bit more uniqueness when paying $3+ per cookie. Plus, I've had similar quality cookies homemade and feel any good baker could duplicate these at home. These are huge cookies that are soft and crumbly in texture (hence, the name). This does allow them to stay soft for several days after purchase. I preferred them the second day because they were much less crumbly. The batch I bought included sugar cookie with pink icing (advertised as a new recipe using real almond extract - why were they using anything but real stuff at these prices??), German chocolate, cookie butter, pumpkin chocolate chip, chocolate peanut butter, and brownie batter. The best of the bunch was the classic sugar cookie w the pink frosting and the pumpkin chocolate chip. I make pumpkin chocolate chip cookies and they are a personal seasonal favorite. These tasted almost exactly like the ones I make but w a lighter cake-like texture. The sugar cookie was another fave because it was the least sugary, ironically and the most dense. The chocolate cookies all had a similar flavor and were sickeningly sweet. The cookie butter was just way too crumbly and more like snickerdoodle than cookie butter even though there was a layer of cookie butter in the middle. I feel like at this price point the lack of uniqueness and texture really hurts the overall product. I have had outstanding cookies that blew my mind because you could tell the ingredients were top notch and the flavors were elevated beyond traditional cookies. This place will hit the spot for something sweet but not somewhere I'd go terribly often or highly recommend. read more

This is another example of a chain coming into wilmington and selling an easy, inexpensive product for an incredible markup (see Nothing Bundt Cakes...although they are delicious). We bought A regular milk chocolate chip, the chip pretzel chocolate chip, a sugar cookie, and one more that I cannot remember. Walking in was a bit awkward, as no one really greets you or tells you how to order. Once I figured it out and made my digital order which I thought was really cool. It takes away from having to order with somebody, But I don't mind that. That's part of the experience. All four cookies were amazing super soft and lasted about two days. My son and I stopped in here last night to try their cookies. The atmosphere is bright and cheery and the staff were very helpful. From a marketing/design aspect they nailed it. We ordered four cookies, the chocolate chip, raspberry cheesecake, nutty buddy, and sugar. All were served warm except for the sugar cookie. Chocolate Chip- 2 out of 5. Huge, gooey cookie but lacking flavor. Bland tasting. Raspberry cheesecake- 3 out of 5. Tasted mostly of icing, no real cookie taste. Sugar- 2 out of 5. My son's favorite, but nothing exceptional. Muddy Buddy- 3 out of 5. I just tasted it so I can't really give an accurate, straight from the oven review but you can taste the peanut butter, which surprised me in a good way. Is this place worth a visit? Sure. The cookies are huge, the decor is pleasing. If you're going for a knock it out cookie than this is probably not it. A friend recommended I try this place out while in the area and it did not disappoint. I loved the red velvet with white chocolate chip, by far was my favorite of the batch. The rest were all delicious as well. My only issue here was the customer service. When I walked in no one else was there and I had never been so I wasn't sure exactly how it worked. No one greeted me at the door and no one explained anything. Then after I placed my order I selected to pay cash, the girl walked over flipped my screen didn't say a word to me and just stood there. So I said oooh hello she smiled and continued to stand there. I pulled my cash out handed it to her and walked away. I'm not a fan of poor customer service. And it really was awful. Went for the first (and last) time to the Wilmington location. Bought a 4-pack containing two chocolate chip cookies and two sugar cookies. The cost was a little under $14.00. All four cookies were undercooked, and the sugar cookie icing was gritty instead of smooth with little flavor. The cookies were so raw that you could make an indention in the dough with your finger. These cookies needed at least another 5 minutes in the oven. Google "Crumbl Cookies Raw Dough" and you'll see that this is a major problem with the chain. All four went into the trash can. I'm giving Crumbl Cookies a 3 because I like the idea of the business, the cleanliness of the store, the cookie ideas, the order process, and service was nice. But the cookies themselves were subpar. Especially the chocolate chip cookie, a humongous letdown. The outside was cooked just right but 2/3's of the cookie was doughy, and not the good chewy type of doughy, it was almost wet like seriously not cooked and we couldn't even eat it because it was just so bad. When they say "crumbl cookies" they mean it, our cookies were all crumbly! The Reese's was pretty good, it had Reese's on top(as shown) but our friends ordered same thing and theirs didn't come with toppings so they were kinda bummed but they enjoyed it. I really liked the cinnamon and the birthday cake wasn't bad but not something I'd order again, it didn't wow me by any means. For what we got I wouldn't spend the money on it again, especially $2.10 for a metal can of water but that's just me:D lol. I think the design of the cookies and merchandise itself is great!
