Totally fantastic gym! Well worth the trip from Cottage Grove. Very clean facility and amenities in working order! The staff are super kind, helpful, and welcoming. They create a space that fosters growth and community. Only issues I saw was one cleaning station missing a spray bottle and the hamstring extension machines top bolt didn't seem to want to lock in. I am writing this to others about the deceptive sales practices at Crunch. When I signed up, I was explicitly told by the sales representative multiple times that the total cost would be $0.01 and that if I cancelled within 60 days, I would not be charged any monthly or annual fees. This was a complete lie. In reality, they forced me to pay two months of dues and an annual fee, a total of $124. When I confronted the General Manager about the verbal promises made at signup, I was told I 'must have heard wrong' despite the staff being very clear during the sales pitch. Even after receiving a cancellation confirmation for March 25, 2026, my online portal still lists me as 'Active' with no end date. I have officially filed a complaint with the Oregon Department of Justice (DOJ) regarding these unlawful trade practices. If you plan to join, do not trust their verbal promises--read every line of the contract. read more

I am very disappointed in how they handle membership, I joined when this location first opened and found I did not take advantage of the $24.99 membership, so I wanted to downgrade to the $17.99 per month. When I did this I had already paid the higher rate for the month but was told that the lower rate went into effect immediately. So that means I paid for something I did not receive. Now I have canceled my membership and was charged for the month on my credit card on file as well as debiting my checking account. I could not get a straight answer from anyone. I asked if someone would call me back but I am not confident that will happen. I don't remember seeing anything that said they would charge my card on file for the month early. This is a message to anyone thinking of joining, BEWARE of their tactics. And when you try to go to the organization's website their is no place to complain about anything, I tried one time to let them know about no paper towels for the entire club once and could not find a spot. Although the gym was great, I relocated and emailed customer service about my cancelation options as there is not a Crunch near my new home. They said the only way I could cancel is to come in. Its over a 2 hour drive and even though I have a membership allowing me to go to any gym I had to drive specifically to the one I signed up at. It was about a month before I was able to do that and they wouldn't waive the 30 day notice despite me emailing about the situation over a month before I was able to make it in. read more

Their corporate billing company made a mistake and Hailey was very quick to address and fix the problem. Rebecca is always friendly and even remembers the names of most members! They've been harassing me for two months w endless phone calls, texts & emails asking for money that I don't owe. When I call, I get sent to voicemail (5×s), when I go up there they tell me that I have to speak to a manager who is never in. They've called 3 times & have sent 7 texts asking for payment that isn't mine. They're awful people. Even after this they still won't cancel my membership. My only course of action left is court. I've sent complaints to the FTC, BBB, ADA, & Medicare. I can keep going if they want & it looks like they do. They continue to ignore my request & according to my contract it's invalid. The thing is, is that my insurance is paying for it & they're scamming Medicare. They're discriminating, gaslighting bullies that can't do the right thing. In response to corporate...they did nothing. They're waiting out the 60 day window on purpose. It's not at all worth the hassle to join this ghetto gym. read more

I canceled my personal training on 10/7 and was still charged on 10/24, despite following all required cancellation steps and submitting the proper cancellation form after my agreement had ended. I contacted the personal training director, Oscar, and was told my account was "being looked into." A little over a month of emailing and I have yet to receive any resolution or refund. What is especially frustrating is that another member experienced the exact same situation at the same time as me and has already been refunded. I have been here for a few months now and joined this gym when we arrived. I think this is one of the best gyms I've been to or worked out in. It is so nice to have people with friendly faces welcoming you as you check into the gym. The facility is clean and has plenty of disinfectant and wipes stationed around the gym to minimize germs, and I witnessed most people using them. There is lots of equipment and most appears to be kept up. I've only noticed a leg extension machine that could use a new seat. There are so many ways to workout in this gym. There are class areas that can be used outside of classes, CrossFit area, lots of heavy lifting areas, lots of treadmills and stationary bikes. I love this gym and wish we had one in our city. I would cancel the membership at my gym and join Crunch Fitness. read more

I sign up with them when they first open. I got the 15 dollars membership wich I was told you you could cancel anytime time. I did attend the facilities like 4 times in a month but I didn't like it cause the lookers rooms are to small for the number of people who attends. So decided to cancel my membership. Wen in in person pay my final month and cancel it. Later on the week stared getting calls charging 170 dollars for canceling my services. When I open my membership with them I was told they were not cancelations fees. Still getting calls now from Collections agencies about this issue. read more

Poor routine maintenance on machines and equipment. Loose and missing fasteners on ab machine and hyper extension bench. One of the hip belt squat machines is being used with the wrong belt that can easily tear. The belt is designed for dips or pullups, not for squats. Today, I showed the problems to the manager (Raul) He DID NOT put an out of service on any of these machines and they are still being used by the members. read more

Couple recommendations: one, this location should install those disposable paper toilet seat covers in the bathrooms. Considering the gym is one of the germiest public places, having these in the bathrooms would be nice. Second, google says they are open 24 hours but there are different hours posted on the gym doors. It would be nice if the hours were posted online. read more

If you want a high level trainer with years of experience and education, go to Genuine Fitness in Eugene or Askisifit.com. Those guys are pro leve natural l body builders and athletes that live the life and know the science. Crush has nice employees, but the quality of training seems very subpar for the price. I asked the trainers there some basic questions about nutrition and exercise and they had difficulty answering. Seemed they just wanted to push their product. BTW, $90 an hour is ridiculous for what is offered when you can get a local pro trainer for less. Also, anyone wanting a long-term contract for personal training is just scamming you. read more
