The first time around I used their provided earbuds which were very uncomfortable. My ears are known to be small, and afterwards I was sore, so this time, I remembered my own ear bud loops for loud noises. I love how they are still offered for free because my gym anxiety is very high and I felt brave going today by myself after the free Yelp event. Really motivating and fast pace! You WILL get a good cardio workout with strength work! The bathroom was well equipped with scrunchies, deodorant, and body spray and feminine products. All bathrooms are gender neutral, and has two shower rooms. Each shower room has body wash, shampoo, and conditioner! I haven't tried it yet, but maybe I will if I needed too~ felt very inviting versus other daunting gym showers I've seen in the past. My last point is how friendly everyone is! As mentioned before, I DO enjoy the gym, but I can get easily overwhelmed by gym anxiety. I liked how the staff had such friendly smiles and were inviting but also, let us be (hopefully that makes sense). They didn't pay too much attention to me, and let me slide into the class with no "FIRST TIME FRIEND?!" Vibe other places attempt~ I felt included and in the zone right off the start. Will continue!

I'd been to a physical therapist, and that helped okay. But doing the time there, the owner (Josh) & staff (esp Emily) noticed my problems, WITHOUT my bringing them to their attention. That was phenomenal, to me, as I belong to a regular gym. After their keen observations, my workouts were tailored to MY specific issues & abilities. I had not, in many years, been able to pull a shirt over my head or do pushups. I was able to do both at the end of the 6 weeks. And I am JOINING!!!

Coach said there is not enough interest at CFEP for a barbell club and that it is too much work. Asked owner several times for a refund. Asked owner for copies of any and all signed documents and agreements with regards to memebership. Josh ignored all requests. He provided some documentation rather swiftly when I reported him to the Better Business Bureau. Why not provide them to me? He has an unsafe environment with over crowded conditions. Equipment in disrepair. Children and animals running throughout while members are exercising. Children losing control of sports equipment endangering people. Save yourself a load of bs and go elsewhere!

It happened to be a bring a friend day. So I turned around and stopped in. I was met by 3 awesome staff members, Kelly, Nikki and Dave. They all made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. I purchased 3 introductory classes and immediately fell in love with this place. I saw people from all ages and exercise levels. I signed up for a membership. Within one month I was doing exercises that I had never done before. Most of them I thought I couldn't do. But the trained staff showed me, patiently, how to do it and let me do it at my level. In one month I have been able to run, which I couldn't do, and my blood sugar dropped 100 points. The bonus is that I lost 14 lbs as well. It doesn't matter what your fitness level is. The class starts late, you warm up stretch, and before you know it what is suppose to be a 45 minute class is 15-20 minutes. If you count the rests in between you're lucky if you get a good 15 minute workout in. Now I perfectly understand that this is a special; however the point of specials is to get people so fired up for your gym that you'll sign up whatever the costs. Nope not the case here and I for one was very very disappointed. This is my third time doing CROSSFIT and this one for sure was my worst experience. Gave them two stars because the actual members looked like they were having a good workout. In the mean time the last time I went, I was like you can keep the money. Thanks for not investing in your newcomers, and basically robbing me of almost $200.00. Recommendation? Don't sign up for their specials!

It's helped me get my love for the gym back for sure. I do have a few complaints but it's nothing too crazy and can definitely easily be fixed. I feel like the staff aren't the most friendly. They typically aren't visible at the front desk, and when they are it's a group of 4 employees and they don't even welcome you in. Once again, this isn't the end of the world, but I feel like in order to build a good gym community, feeling welcomed in is necessary. I have a membership where guests are allowed and my girlfriend has come with me 20+ times over the last few months. We went in last week and the employee I had never seen before at the front said she needed an ID to come in. This has never been a thing before, and she didn't have her ID on her. He said there were no exceptions. I explained to him that she's come 20+ times and hasn't needed it before. He then told us it was a new policy. How can an establishment create a new policy and not inform its paying customers? Definitely put a sour taste in my mouth. I understand policies exist, but enforcing this with no notification was crazy to me. I asked to let her in just this once since we were not aware, and he said nope. Didn't even say sorry to us. Lastly, the locker rooms are always a mess. It feels like they get cleaned once a week, if that. Toilet paper always on the floor, urine/hair always on toilet seats, the stall door locks are falling off, and there's always trash and dust everywhere. If these two things could be improved upon, I truly think this gym would be the best in the area. It's genuinely pretty great, but could be better.

The staff are all SO wonderful! When I initially signed up it was hectic chaos surrounding us, but the admin at the desk was the most patient, informative, sweetest soul. They all are! You can tell employees genuinely enjoy one another here and are passionate about their community. This gym might be older but overall has everything you need, plus it's clean and they make all necessary updates. This gym and the people here restore my faith in humanity most days; finally, a gym to get excited about walking into :)
