The gym itself is fine. Lots of old equipment and many times things are broken. Fitness classes are few and far between so I only have base membership. Gym is next to a college so expect tons of 18-25 y/o's with tripods to be almost everywhere and weights left all over the place.

They lie about the contract and then are quite rude in telling you that you are the one lying. Watch your credit card for over charges. Also, be aware that if you ask to change payment methods they will keep your old method on file and use it as a backup. I'm really not interested in hearing their standard line "Sorry you feel that way about out gym..." I'm not interested in talking about it. I already tried that. read more

I have been trying to get a refund for membership that I paid to cancel and then was double charged for since April. Every time I call it gets "sent to the back office" where apparently there's nobody to speak to personally regarding this matter. It has been sent back 3 times with bank statements and emails showing all of the proof necessary. Now they're telling me to write a letter to a PO box. What a freakin joke. They're crooks! It's just $32, but it's the principle. Think about how many people just say forget about it bc you have to go through so much bs to get your own money back they took wrongfully. Just in case you are one of the unlucky people to have them lie to you and to keep miss charging you and you try to dispute it... just know the manager there has no people skills and is probably one of the worst cowards you'll ever experience. He will only talk bad to you on the phone and then hide in his office and have his poor front desk receptionist tell you that he's not there when you try and explain to him your situation and how his own employee lied about closing the account permanently (when in reality they just kept charging your account). I have never been a gym person but my husband and I had to get ready for the Camino de Santiago a pilgrimage in Spain walking approx 12-15 miles a day. We worked with Personal trainer Paul Pulitano and we are so glad we did! Our fitness plan was totally tailored to our individual needs which led to a successful backpack experience. Crunch is fun, diverse in age group and fitness levels and the classes, cardio equipment and weight choices are fantastic. You can't beat the price and they have very convenient hours ! Extremely loud and extremely crowded even during the day. Staff is rude and not helpful. Tried to cancel the membership and heard something different from each staff member. Corporate finally had to get involved. The manager flat put lied about the membership. I tried a trainer. I think I had been working out longer than here. Everything seemed like a one size fits all approach. Maybe if I was 19 I would like this place better. However even my 19 yos didn't like it. read more

I sign up for the HIIT classes, there is one in the early am. Would prefer more. Although, instructors are LATE and not able to function equipment, the classes have been on point. As for cleanliness, with the covid and all around germs, I would have thought sanitizing would be top priority. No wiping of equipment, bathrooms not the best especially for a new gym! SANITIZING SHOULD BE TOP PRIORITY!!! I know STAFF and gym members that have caught covid and still no changes. Rugs have not been steam cleaned since open. Not to mention dried blood that was found on a punching bag (I should have taken a pic). The response that the club "respectfully disagrees" is a great example that they are not sincere or respectful and that it is lip service. They have not returned multiple requests to return telephone calls or follow up to discuss. That would have been respectful and it should not have come to Yelp. Based on the images I shared of nasty q-tips I canceled my membership and for that reason, I strongly feel my membership fees for the following month should not have been charged. I am not coming because of the filth in the club that was there for 3 days and I reported on the 2nd. The club, the owners, the managers the franchisor needs to take this into consideration. This health club is Buyer be Aware. They are not expensive and prey upon it. This review from a year ago and it has gotten worse, It's so so, but it's $10 a month. I moved to this gym from LA fitness after I became unemployed and got a job again this one seems to be close to my house. And it's always nice when do gyms open up because they have all new equipment. But this gym also has free tanning a sauna that doesn't get as hot as LA fitness but does the job clean showers clean bathrooms and clean equipment. 100% of their equipment has been in working order ever since it's opened because that's when I started there and is maintained to a good standard. They also have massage chairs that are nice. read more

They said I couldn't downgrade my membership in the first 90 days AFTER they one of the reps told me I could and charged my credit card $21.40. They had no plans of telling me I couldn't downgrade or refunding my money until I called. There is NOTHING in the contract that states I can't downgrade in the first 90 days. Nor is there anything in the contract that says they will charge you $20 plus tax to downgrade!! Very illegal and unethical company!! And the assistant GM, Marco, is useless and has no customer service skills!! The way he treated me and talked to me was completely unacceptable. I think the attitude of the trainers and staff have been positive and encouraging from the grand opening. I've been working with Paul Pulitano 2-3 times a week and have seen significant results to include weight loss and muscle gain. It's great to see the hard work and planning pay off. It's not unusual to hear encouraging comments from the other trainers as I'm working out. The equipment is new and has been well maintained. The locker room has been clean and the bottles of cleaning solution are readily available throughout the facility. Great equipment, clean facility and outstanding trainers. This place is such a scam they will charge your account for things you cancelled, say they will get In touch with the back office and never do, their customer service when dealing with issues is disgusting. My first issue with them was over a year ago. I had personal training and needed to cancel as the training session was ending. I had Covid spoke to my personal trainer and called the gym to let them know and they said they would handle it and there was no need for me to come in because I had Covid. Fast forward 2 weeks later I was charged $200. They told me I would get my money back and they would contact the back office, I never received the money they did nothing. Now I canceled my membership back in May 2022 and they continued to charge me I got in contact with the general manager Tracey and he assured me he would get this fixed as they were trying to charge me $167. Now we are a month later nothing was done, no comments are on my file of even getting in contact with the back office, they did nothing. I call the gym and they are not only rude but refuse to help. This gym is a scam. Do not get a membership here. If I could give the gym 0 stars I would. read more

Not the most welcoming gym that's for sure. Like most crunches it's very busy anytime you go. A lot of Instagram "models" and "influencers" that take pictures and record constantly. Absolutely nobody puts their weights up and that includes all ages. Staff doesn't do it at the end of the night either. So I imagine that will never change. Weights just randomly on machines and all over the floor. It's become normal to superset three machines at a time leaving a bottle of water at one machine, a phone at the other and their car keys returning about 10-15 minutes later. Very bad etiquette from everyone. I've been lifting for 20 years and can say the worst when it comes to all that. It is clean and they do have a lot of good equipment. As far as complaining about people not wiping down equipment. Who cares build immunity ya baby. The people who leave a bad review about canceling. Do it a month before you want it cancelled simple as that. read more

The men's locker room needs to be monitored more frequently. When I went in to shower at 630AM on 12/31, there was a man there with a beard who smelled like nicotine with a full backpack. When he took a shower, there was a very pungent smell. After showering when I asked the attendant if that person was a member as I was suspicious she stated that he wasn't. Although she did apologize for this, I did not have any assurance of a plan of action to prevent this from happening again. Also one month ago there was a gentleman in a black hooded sweatshirt that went in the shower stall to urinate. This was in the evening time though. It just seems as though the staff are very inattentive. There have been a few times when I left the gym and staff were too busy talking to each other to acknowledge me. ANother thing about the men's restroom is that the stall for the sit down toilet is close to the high urinal which is problematic because people then start bumping into each other. The cardio equipment seems to be in good working condition at least for now. They are close to home for me and basic membership is $10 a month. If there was another gym, however, just as close that I could join for $10 a month, I would cancel with crunch (in which I would need to give 30 days notice which I also don't agree with) and join that gym. read more
