I went to the gym previously on this location for years before. One of the owners tried to get in my face because I was working out on a machine he wanted to use with his client he said move go use this. We're using this now. Canceled my membership there. It more like a cult there. They open a gym for their friends. Don't go there if you want just to work out. They like to try to make it like high school.

Overall, the guy has an awful attitude and routinely displays his "I don't give a f*ck" approach to life. My issues with Derek began when I overheard him talking junk about people who wear masks during the Covid-19 pandemic. I was a few feet away from him when I overheard this conversation. I assume he made a point to speak loud enough for me to hear, as I'm one of the only members who wear a mask at the gym. None of the staff at this gym wear a mask, or PPE of any sort. I raised my concern with the other owner, who apologized for his unprofessional business partner and said he would speak with him about the incident. I avoided the gym for two weeks and went back yesterday for the first time since the incident. In the middle of my workout, Derek (owner), leaves the client he's training to approach me and says: "Do you have a problem with me?" My response: "Uh, not really, but overall I think you're a jerk." Owner Derek: "I really don't give a f*ck what you think! You can go f*ck yourself!" All of this dialogue took place in front of several, at least 10, gym members. Derek went back to work as if the encounter was relatively routine. Needless to say, this guy probably should look for another profession because working with people isn't exactly his forte. PS: If you need a trainer at this gym, go to Rob or his wife. I've witnessed Derek train his clients and he doesn't pay much attention unless you're an attractive female.

Instead, they blast music in the personal training area to compete with the music already playing throughout the gym. When you complain, they tell you that it's a corporate policy to play the music that loud. When I contacted corporate, they said it was at the GM's discretion. The one fat personal trainer loves to pretend he owns the gym and has tried to kick people out for working out in that personal training area during sessions. Nowhere in the contract does it state that any areas are off-limits during any hours. They're also frequently out of wipes to wipe down the equipment. A solution could be for them to provide towels. Might be cheaper than buying disposable wipes. Also, they seem to not care when people leave their weights everywhere. The only reason I didn't give them 1 star is because the staff at the front are always friendly. They greet you and bid you farewell as you leave.

I pay $68 a month and you need to give 60 day notice for contract. The $68 only gets you one location or it is $86 a month. Regardless, it is a wonderful workout opportunity.
