First time here at Truro Vineyards in Truro, Massachusetts. They had a food truck called the Crush Pad, which truly stood out. The winery could learn a thing or two from them. You're provided a menu, scan the QR code, select the items you want, place your order, and receive a number. It's simple and efficient--when your order is ready, you just go up and pick up your items. The process is seamless and straightforward. The food we received was delicious, and the customer service was excellent. The staff member who assisted our party was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend ordering from the Crush Pad when you visit the vineyard. I'm not sure if they serve other locations or are dedicated solely to the winery, but either way, it's a great addition to the experience at Truro Vineyards. read more

Crush Pad is an artisanal food truck based in Truro, Massachusetts that has been running since 2013. The venture was founded by restaurateur and chef Eric Jansen. The food truck is a spin-off of his Truro-based restaurant BlackFish, which opened in September 2007. The Crush Pad truck is exclusively parked at Truro Vineyards seven days a week. The items on the menu change almost daily, but are all prepared with farm-to-table ingredients. Some of their popular mainstays include Niman Ranch burgers, Snake River Farms Kobe hotdogs, and hand-picked lobster rolls on a brioche bun. My wife, son and I visited Truro Vineyards last week. We have visited the winery a number of times over the years. My wife and I ordered a wine flight and a spirit flight to share, but we were feeling a little hungry too. We canned Crush Pad's menu and decided to order the Farro White Bean Burger (with blue cheese), the Pork Cheek Tacos (with cumin crema, salsa verde and queso fresco), and the Cape Cod Organic Farm Salad (with little tomatoes, pistachios, Burrata and balsamic vinaigrette). We shared a little bit of everything and it was all delicious. All of the food tastes so fresh! It paired very well with our sampler flights. All the food was very good! We got the pesto chicken sandwich, the chorizo and potato tacos, and the Kobe beef hot dog. I rated it 4 stars because it was a little pricey for a food truck. Any condiments such as relish cost extra money. read more

The menu is limited and you can only order online from your table. I had trouble using the QR code from my table so went to the website (which the truck says to do) and found a large difference in the prices. The website menu said $26 for a lobster roll which is a lot for lunch, but once the QR code pulled up it showed $33! So, no lobster rolls for us today. I got the Farro and White Bean Burger and my friend got the Pork Cheek Tacos. Both were spicier than we'd imagined, the tacos to the point of inediblity. Oh my god. The burger is DELICIOUS. We came by for the wine tasting and we hadn't had lunch. I heard there was a food truck but ahhhh it was so good. There were a ton of menu options and we went with burgers with blue cheese. The bread was tasty and lightly toasted. The burger was a decent size and cooked perfectly. They added big chunks of blue cheese too! The onion strings were pretty good as well. Could have been a bit more crunchy. Water was $2 so bring your own! The sauce was good. - Kobe beef hotdog Despite being advertised as kobe beef, it's nothing special. It was described with toppings, but it looks like you have to pay an extra $2 each for the three toppings. We forgo the toppings. I prefer Kayem hotdogs. If you go to the vineyard to have a drink and are a little hungry, then the food is fine. I wouldn't plan to go here for lunch. read more

I tried this food truck at Truro Winery. The food was decent but such small portions for the price, which was outrageous. A lobster roll was $38 and not worth it. I would have let this slide had the staff been friendly and nice. I went up to the truck to ask for forks and knives (which should have been included in my takeout bag) and they have a rope in front of the truck blocking it off so people can't come up to it and a sign saying "DO NOT come up to the truck." When I asked for a fork and knife I was looked at like I had ten heads. The woman didn't even speak to me. I wouldn't go back to this location alone because of this food truck. This food truck was HORRIBLE. The chef was so terrible and mean. - My partner and I had gone to Truro vineyard to get food and wine tasting this weekend. We both have serious allergies which makes it hard to get food out but we are always polite and respectful when ordering food and constantly feel badly for making the waiters and chef make sure everything is safe for us to eat. We had initially walked up to the food truck after looking at the menu to ask about allergen friendly options and the chef yelled and said "nothing is gluten free!" so we walked back to our table feeling very badly. We then asked our waitress (who was very kind) if she could ask the chef. When she walked up, we heard the chef again tell "this is f**king ridiculous! I don't give a single f**k about their allergies, if they have allergies go eat somewhere else!!!" Our waitress tried to ask even kinder and he yelled again (mind you there were very you children and families who could hear him screaming from the food truck). we ended up only getting one allergen friendly dish and having to ask our waitress again to have the second dish be allergen friendly. truly, it was so horrible we almost got up and left it completely ruined our day. We ended up getting just the gluten free bun and no meat and had to transfer the cross contaminated meal to our plate and pick out the pieces that we could eat safely without getting sick!! This was the most disrespectful and unprofessional service I have ever experienced. - I have never needed to write a bad review in my life but feel that this is necessary if you are a person with any allergies - DO NOT COME HERE !!!! read more

Your kobe hot dog is not kobe. Kobe beef is not made into hot dogs, and it certainly would not be $7 if it were kobe beef that sells for hundreds per pound. Numerous restaurants have been sued for advertising that they sell kobe beef (Le Bernardin and McCormick and Schmicks).
