    Marconi (Far Land's Italian)
    Chelsea A.

Came here after whale watching. We were about at sea for 3 hours and didn't want to eat on board to avoid getting seasick. I had a feeling this was a great place to go after researching places to eat on Google and Yelp. While checking out a blog, I saw this was THE recommended lunch spot. I couldn't pass up the opportunity-- I HAD to try it. I got the salmon special on a ciabatta roll (coming from NYC/NJ I'm very picky about bagels but the waitress said mostly everyone orders the salmon special on bagels). My partner got the Marconi which is Far Land's Italian sandwich (sub? Hoagie? Not sure what you all call them up here...sandwich lol) The Marconi was fresh, stuffed with lots of cold cuts and cheese. The banana peppers gave a nice acidic flavor and complemented the sandwich. The salmon special? Out of this world, EVEN on a ciabatta roll. Loved the flavors of the tomatoes and capers working well with the cream cheese and smoked salmon. The ciabatta was also toasted which meted the cream cheese. YUM. I only wish I asked for cucumbers (and I'm not sure if they even have any? But I think it would've helped add a nice clean green crunch in there. There's also gifts you can buy here at the market place: candies, candles, chips, and kitchen glasses. You also have the option of buying snacks and desserts like cupcakes and Whoopie pie, as well as soup of the day. Highly recommended this place if you're in Provincetown!! I can't wait to come back.

I have been coming to Ptown for the last few years and so sad that I just am now coming across this place. We stopped in for breakfast before leaving on our latest trip and know I will be a repeat customer. Great breakfast sandwiches (get on the Portuguese bread!) and solid iced coffee in a relaxing setting. Even got to sit on the front porch to enjoy the food. Ordering is a little confusing but just ask around and you will figure it out. A new favorite spot for us in town.

Delicious breakfast sandwich! They're happy to make it however you want, so feel free to request different combinations of ingredients. Excellent meatloaf sandwich as well. Cute, high end little market.

We cut our late morning Causeway walk short due to rain and stopping here was a good segue into lunch to pick up and have in our hotel lounge area. Didn't want to eat anything too heavy and since these folks specialize in sandwiches, sandwiches it was. So we jumped for joy when we came across Far Land Provisions on Bradford St and open for the holiday season. Think of Far Land as a 'country market store' with the old fashioned scale (as a prop), butcher block tables, wood flooring and the entire feel of it all. The store stocks some wine, has water, potato chips, their store-made pastries, croissants and among other things. Maybe because of the holidays and the off-season, they don't bake their own ciabatta. Waiting is minimal and you receive a buzzer to pick up your sandwich. My 'Smoked Salmon Special' on a toasted Everything Bagel, sliver of cream cheese, sliced onions+ tomatoes was delicious so was my Chocolate Milk and hubs loved his panini-style roast turkey Reuben. While a major cluster of lunch eateries in Ptown are closed for the holidays, Far Land is a real gem that comes out winning for quality and timing and was the perfect place for sandwiches and other things.

Staying at Airbnb and looking for coffee not on commercial. Came upon Far Land and became my go to every morning. Breakfast sandwiches made to order however you'd like. Iced coffee you make yourself. Just how you like. Pastries, sandwiches, salads. Quick service. Plenty of tables and chairs if dining in. Rockers out front. All with that cape cod feel. Great place!

Roast beef with tasty cream cheese spread on it. This was probably the best bite of the whole sammy!

The wife and I went in to FLP today after a long drive down from New Hampshire and a long day on the Cape Cod National Seashore! This place was a great little stop before a long drive home. The staff was very friendly, the place had a few locals milling about and sitting on the porch gossiping. It was nice! A nice selection of beer, wine, chips, sodas, pastries, canned fruit! It was a nice little niche mercantile. We ordered two sammies: chicken salad on ciabatta, and a Herring Cove, which was roast beef, garlic cream cheese on ciabatta. I forget if it came with the roasted red peppers or not but I added them, also red onion. The roast beef (the meat itself...) was sorta bland, the cream cheese ("garlic herb spread") was good on it. The roasted red bell pepper was a nice touch but the sammy as a whole lacked pizzazz. I was missing salt, and crunch! It was a pretty small portion so by the time I realized I wanted salt I had one bite left. Chicken salad was also very bland. Really nothing more to say here it was very plain and lacked seasoning altogether. Throw some pesto or aioli on that bad boy for a much needed kick! Crunchy spinach a nice add.

An essential stop while you're in P-Town! Far Land Provisions has all you need for a light lunch or picnic on the Cape. With meats and cheeses fresh from the deli, you can order one of their signature sandwiches or build your own. I'm usually a "make it myself" kind of gal, but the Apple, Brie, and Dijon combination on the Head of The Meadow was top notch. Hands down one of my favorite meals in Provincetown. Don't leave without trying the house-made cranberry chutney! If you're feeling a different condiment on your sandwich, Far Land Provisions sells jars of chutney to take home with you. Hot tip: Once you've grabbed your provisions, drive just a mile up the road to Beech Forest Trail for a picnic with an incredible view.

Parking is along the side which was a little tight, but still convenient. It's the kind of market you might find in a big city, with it's staff and selection of goods. I spent over a week in Cape Cod and the food here and another deli in Provincetown were the best food I had on the Cape, including some fine dining places. Definitely worth your time to stop by.

I felt like the clerk was not listening to me so I double checked with her a few minutes later to make sure the sandwich would have mustard on it she abruptly told me that no it wouldn't have mustard on it because she didn't have mustard put on it- I asked if it could be done? She was incredibly rude, She went back to the kitchen and asked them to put mustard on it a long while later I received the sandwich in a hot tinfoil wrap. I asked her why the sandwich was hot and she told me that all sandwiches in the shop are toasted unless I asked for it not to be toasted. For context my friend got an Italian and it was correct and NOT toasted.... And again, she was incredibly rude. She eventually offered to redo the sandwich which I was hesitant to agree to, but I did. Another long while later she came back out, basically threw the sandwich at me -still in the tinfoil -when I open the sandwich, I found a Canadian bacon egg sandwich on a hamburger roll with mustard! The bun was wet. I'm not sure what the hell is going on at this place but she and the other person working there were incredibly rude, short and to be honest, completely obnoxious about our whole experience I ended up walking out, told them the sandwiches wrong again and they had no response. I will never go back there, and I will tell everyone about my experience there. I will say the iced coffee was good, but not worth returning for considering all the rest of the stuff that happened.

Usually hibiscus/fruity teas are nice and tart, this one had no flavor and it just tasted like sugar water. Once of the worst iced teas I've ever had in my life.
