Love Christian Publishers because they have a little bit of everything, Christian Classics,…read moresupplies, a decent selection of Bibles, and even what many would call Spirit Filled or Charismatic authors. They have a little of everything for everyone! Most of the "Christian Bookstores" in Middle Tennessee have been or are denominationaly driven, but Christian Publishers is not. Which is refreshing. I like to read many different authors and have enjoyed being able to find just about everything I've wanted here, and at a fair price and many times cheaper than Amazon! Prices appeared slightly higher than they were @ two antique malls across town, but I did see some decent prices. (The front left booth w/antique Christmas merchandise had VERY high prices, especially on the glass ornaments.) The mall owner was friendly & the mall was clean & organized. What this business had that made it stand out was EXCELLENT antique toys in VERY good condition; I saw some fantastic, quality toys here-- SEE PICS! And I noticed a large toy/sign/car booth in the back right corner that had lots of mid century or newer vintage toys-- SEE PIC. Should you stop in, check out the rewired & refinished antique radios-- many gorgeous ones! There are hardly any primitives here & not many vintage furniture pieces, but it's definitely a worthy antique mall. When I'm in the Murphysboro area again, I'll likely stop in. I am always accommodated, they always have books ready for me pick up, and they're not very complicated. Yesterday, I had to go pick up my school books. I went through the drive-thru since obviously social distancing is important during the pandemic. The ladies in the window complied with wear the masks, they had hand sanitizer in the window and disinfectant wipes on hand as well. They were doing exactly what they were expected to do. Furthermore, their professionalism was excellent. I was content with how they helped me in a timely manner and answered any questions I had. I feel the icing on the cake for this visit was their diligence to help me out with circumstances I have been dealt. I won't go into it, but nevertheless, they are working with me and I am grateful that they are doing so. It is complex and frustrating, but rest assured they are exceptional with working with students under any circumstances. I give kudos to Textbook Brokers. I have generally never had any issues with them. I get my graduate school books from them in Murfreesboro and then return them to the Nashville location where they are shipped back so I do not have to make the hike down there again. I recommend renting from them and purchasing merchandise. Prices are always competitively cheaper than the actual book store on campus.
