If I were the business owner myself, I would have the decency to atleast apologize for a faulty install. 4 months later getting the run around from insurance. Argh let's see how it goes

I had contracted Phountain Water to install a whole house water filtration system. I had their…read moresalesperson over to show him my finished basement and what was involved and was told no problem. As it turns out there was a problem, and I was told it could not be installed it this location in the house. I took the workers to another room located by the water main and was told they could install it there. I needed time to move a bolted in workbench and they said no problem. They wanted to take the water tank back and I said no. I have a signed contract plus they were coming back to install the system. They left the tank. Two days later, another "plumber" their top plumber (I was told by the owner) to come and what I thought to install the system. As we are descending the basement stairs the plumber said that he was here to collect the tank, and the boss does not want to do the job. I told him I have a signed contract plus deposit and the tank will not be removed from my house. I was told by the plumber that he was instructed to call the police. I told him to get out of my house and do what he has to do. His boss shows up a few minutes later and said he wants his tank, and I said I want the contract for filled. I get a speech on how he served in the US military and how he was an honorable guy. What this has to do with a filtration install, I have no idea. He said he would call the cops, and I told him to do what he has to do. The cops showed up, first one that had a major attitude and then a second who was quite professional. I took the professional officer into my house and told the one with the arrogant attitude to get off my property. I showed the cops where it was to be installed, and he talked to me calming me down. I allowed the boss to retrieve my tank. As it so happens, I located another company explained everything to them, insisted his installers come over to see the job for themselves before giving me a price. I am getting the same equipment plus a water softener for $1,300.00 less installed. Oh, by the way, as the head plumber was loading my tank into his truck, he was making hand jesters telling me either I was a jerk off or to go and jerk off. A real top plumbing professional.

Super clean location with great knowledgeable staff. Inga made the experience from start to finish…read moresuper seamless. This location offers so many different services; Full Body & Local Cryotherapy, Cryoskin Facials, Floatation [Bellmore location], Infared Sauna, Lipo-Light Body Contouring, Acupuncture and more. Went to this Hewlett location to personally finally try a full body Cryotherapy experience. What is Cryotherapy you might ask?? It's a process of cooling your skin to about 32 degrees Fahrenheit for a short period of time. The body temporarily goes into a "survival mode" sending blood to your body's core. This triggers adrenaline, endorphins and all sorts of hormones throughout your body in the hopes of natural healing. It was a super fast 3 minute experience to endure a very manageable dry cold sensation to reset, restore for a rejuvenating feeling. The quad tightness I went in with from multiple Pilates and Yoga sessions this past week, and didn't fully restretch out :/ definitely seemed not as noticeable later that day, and non existent next morning. So did it achieve something already...seems so! :) Glad I opted to buy [via Groupon] a multi session 3x pkg, so that I can truly see if Cryotherapy is something to add self care regime. Can't wait to go back in a week and see what other inflammation pains I can rid.

I used to go to Cryocure in Bellmore. I received a $500 gift card for my bday and shortly after I…read morereceived the gift this location shut down. No one reached out via email or phone to let me know. Not even a sign on the door telling people to use their Hewlett location. I had no idea they even had another location until I googled Cryotherapy today. I called up and spoke with Ingrid. I explained I was a client at Bellmore and about 2-1/2 years ago I received a certificate that I couldn't use because that location closed shortly after I received the certificate. I asked her if she would honor it. I was told no because they have a different computer system and it's the same owner but different computers. And this and that and the suns in my eyes. So basically this business stole $500 and will NOT honor any part of my certificate. That's bad business especially knowing you're going out of business and still issuing gift certificates.

The guy at the front desk was very welcoming, he greeted us as soon as we walked in. He told us it would just be a few minutes while he got the rooms ready for us. He was very thorough in explaining the process and offered us waters and showed us where we could get some should we need more during our time there. The place was also very clean. They provide robes, towels, slippers, pretty much everything you need. I did the two part experience, starting with the sauna and finishing with the float. I started with the sauna where which was 45 mins then moved to the float which was 1 hour. The only issue I had here was that the sauna room was too small. I was unable to fully lay/stretch out on the bench, which would've made for a much more relaxing experience. Instead, I had to sit the 45 mins with my knee bent and the bench was hard on my butt despite them having a towel down. The float was by far my favorite part of the experience. It's right across from the sauna room. The guy again comes to take you there and explain the process in detail. There's a shower for you to use before you get in the float and to get your body ready and acclimated to the temperature in the float. There's float has light and relaxing music, both of which you have control of if you want it or not. I turned the light off initially but it was way too dark for me lol I felt trapped so I opted for lights on. The process was so very relaxing that I even fell asleep for a while. I was woken up by the audio telling me the float has ended and thanks for floating. It also tells you that it will begin the cleansing process soon so you should exit the float. As I was showering and getting ready to leave, I saw it going through the cleansing process which was good to see. Definitely recommend this float if you are stressed or just need a mental break. It was good to just be in there with you and your thoughts to reflect and detach and then eventually, truly relax!

This was a nice experience. Hubby gifted me a visit to Reset Float for an hour in their sensory…read moredeprivation tank. He purchased the experience from Groupon. I was initially worried because of a past claustrophobia event during an MRI (I'm not usually claustrophobic but I freaked out during my scan and had to be calmed down). Hubby and I had time off together and decided to take the trip to LI for my session. He booked one for himself as well. When we arrived, Raymond checked us in. He explained what we should do in preparation for the session and provided us wutg wax ear plugs. Each room is single occupancy with its own shower (with soap and shampoo), towels, slippers, and bacitracin (if you have any scratches on your skin). It would be best to not book right after shaving or if you gave open wounds, because you'll be floating in a high concentration of Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate), which could be irritating to cuts and abrasions. They provide the bacitracin for you to put onto any scrape you may have, which alleviates the sting. Once in the room, you disrobe and shower. You must be clean before entering the tank. The tank is like a clam shell, you climb in and use the "pillow" under your head to keep your head afloat. You're completely naked in the tank and you just float. Napping has exponential benefits while in the tank. Once you set your session, the tank does all the work. You can listen to music, adjust the sound, or just stay in the quiet room. I fell asleep a few times. Because of the high concentration of MgSO4, you're floating and have pretty decent buoyancy. I have locs, so I brought my own swim cap - I would suggest bringing one of you don't want the liquid saturating your hair. Raymond examined how to put on the cap, with the hair on the very top of your head, and the side of the cap covering your ears. I would say, however, not to cover your ears because it creates a spacc for the liquid to seep into and for that reason, I was a bit unhappy with what happened after my session. Once the float is done, the tank let's you know. You exit the tank, hop in the shower, and clean yourself. Once you leave the tank, it begins it's self-cleaning process. The water is swirling around and around and I'm guessing they use UV to help clean it. I did not realize that there was soooo much salt in the tank. I thought I did a good job cleaning myself off in the shower, but because the water got into my swim cap some, once it dried, everything that still had remnants of the water, dried white. Once we headed out, Raymond had water waiting for us. That was refreshing. You should not have a heavy meal or drink a lot of fluids ahead of your visit. I was wearing a black dress and the drips from my hair would dry on my dress and then turn white. You really have to rinse yiursf off very well. It would be best to schedule this kind of experience on a day when you have nothing else to do. I will say that for the actual experience, it was very relaxing and felt amazing but the aftercare was a lot, especially with the salt drying. I would do this again, but definitely will not be going anywhere else afterwards.
