Meanwhile you have fancy USB outlets, new TV, etc. No clock. A double bed is all you get in a single room. Internet keeps resetting. At least the people were quiet the night I stayed, because I could hear wildlife chirping over the lack of fan noise (except when the heat kicked on and off to wake me). I'm not a fan either, sorry.

We waited until they were done to fill up our 6 5-Gallon water jugs. The drive to the location was pleasant, and it was so simple to get the water since there were a lot of water hoses to use. Nice setup for the filtered Spring Water! Good to obtain and try since it's much closer than the previous location we used to go to. Outdoor area for the water is kind of hidden, but liked the convenience to get it for a small donation. Nice and scenic trails are available, too!

If alcohol is not allowed at the resort she should not keep it and should allow them to bring to their vehicle. No, she kept it for herself I guess. Either way there is no need for being so rude and degrading to each person coming through as we saw the people before us, us and after us treated badly. Stay away from this resort.

Maybe what, a dozen rooms total? Check in was a breeze. As we walked up to the office a friendly gentleman popped out of the room next door, went into the office and put on his manager's hat. He was very good natured and amiable. The view of Mt Rainier from the parking lot was pretty neat. Our room also has a good view of Rainier. Speaking of which, this room is a nice surprise. It is very retro with a microwave, a Keurig coffeemaker and a mini fridge that are styled after the 1950's in a baby blue. This room is immaculately clean! The Mrs wanted me to make sure that I point out the cleanliness of the bathroom and counter / sink area. The room is a bit smallish but is very well appointed. Lights and outlets aplenty. Freshly painted and remodeled comes to mind. The beds have that perfect firm softness that gives you comfort without trapping you in a marshmallow. There is also an ironing board with iron for that clothing touch up along with a dresser for unpacking. There is also a prominent coffee kiosk within a few steps of the motel. From a maintenance and construction aspect, this room is well taken care of, everything works.

Very pup walkable, very dining grab a beer walkable. Walk up coffee stand across the street. The 410 connection walking trail is right there. Cute neighborhood to walk just a couple blocks down Main. Wonderful Christmas lights to see as you walk. Buckley is uber safe. I applaud the owners for digging in and doing a solid update on this place. It's neat and tidy. With a tip of the hat to its heritage. Our room had two doubles. A bit odd - but comfy. Towels are the size of hankies so next time I'll throw a couple of our own towels in. We just returned from a visit at Treehouse Point, completing a bucket list item. To say it was an…read moreoutstanding experience is putting it mildly! It was the highlight of our road trip! When we arrived at Treehouse Point, everybody was so professional and kind! We were given a quick tour of all of the amenities in the lodge and other community areas. Then, we were directed to our tree house, Ananda. Just wow! It was cozy as well as spacious, and it was very well appointed with everything we could possibly need! Even though there were other tree houses around ours, we ALL enjoyed total privacy. A great deal of attention has been made in creating personal experiences while still tending to developing a very unique community. All building materials in our treehouse were the best quality available, and the workmanship is second to none! We walked around the grounds, being respectful of others' privacy. Every tree house was unique and beautiful! We then took the trail down to the Raging River. It was beautiful, but our spring has been unusually dry, and the river a little thirsty. Overnight, a rainstorm came through the area. The sound coming from a refreshed river the next morning was breathtaking! I wanted to wake up so I could experience it all, but instead I slept through it. I guess I slept comfortably! (And I am not young.) The bath houses were beautiful and felt like individual spa rooms. They were supplied with wonderful bath products, and the shower offered a pampering experience. Similarly, special products and amenities were provided in our private unit, including coffee and tea. We were going to wash our few dishes, but no dish soap was found, further demonstrating Treehouse Point's intent to pamper their guests. After waking up in the trees, we prepared our own mugs of coffee, tea, and nibbles. After a peaceful start to the day, we made our way to the lodge for breakfast (feeding the fish along the way). Our own breakfast was absolutely wonderful! The chef and souz chef prepared several wonderful dishes. The selections and quality of preparation were both outstanding! Our visit was so wonderful that we truly didn't want to leave! We made the visit to fulfill a bucket list item, but we are already talking about returning again, this time with friends. I could go on and share more, but I want you to delight in your own experience, just as we had. If you've been considering a visit to Treehouse Point, wait no longer. You will never regret it!

Rainier National Park entrance. As soon as we parked to check-in, Bob and Joe (Owners/Managers) made us feel welcome. The cabin we had was great. It was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The views were wonderful. It was so peaceful and quiet. A great place to relax and re-energize. While there, Bob and Joe shared their knowledge of Mt. Rainier and the surrounding area. Telling us the best places to eat, all about the mountain, where to go for pictures, trails to walk, best places to see wildlife, and so much more. They had a campfire one night and provided everything we needed to make Smores. Many of the guests came out to the campfire, enjoying the smores, the conversation, and the stars. It turned out that one couple had stayed there several times before. At the time we were there, the park required vehicles to carry snow chains. They rent chains at the lodge for half the price of the places you can rent them in town. Unfortunately, they didn't have our tire size but immediately offered to go purchase a set for us to rent. By far, Stone Creek lodge was the best place we stayed during our trip. If headed to the National Park or the Ashford area, we highly recommend Stone Creek Lodge.

Everything in the room had a light sticky and dusty feel to it. The fan upstairs was caked in dust and my bed was not clean. There were a bunch of short hairs and curls in the sheets. We asked for the sheets to be changed and when I went to sleep the second night, I saw that the sheets were stained. At that point, I was just happy we were leaving soon. The tub was also clogged so we were showering while standing in dirty inches of water.

Not exactly a posh hotel with amenities out the yin-yang (the boutique hotel I stayed in Chicago…read morewas nicer than this), but I can guarantee that you won't find a hotel that has a giant hot tub right in the middle of the room. I was very fatigued when I checked into the place due to my flying from Chicago (via Las Vegas), then driving an hour and a half south after spending a couple of hours doing tourist stuff in downtown Seattle, so I didn't quite hear or understand the instructions about the hot tub that the manager was telling me. Frankly, I was a bit taken aback by the fact that there was a hot tub in the middle of the room. I thought for a moment that was where I was gonna have to bathe because I hadn't showered in about a day and a half, but there was a shower there. I regretfully did not use the hot tub. I only stayed at this place due to the proximity to my friend's house, which was just ten minutes away. I have to admit that I wasn't crazy about the small parking lot and the unmarked access and connecting roads to the 410. But the place at least allowed me to check out at 3am so... not bad.
