However, they were still invoicing us for the unit. Had we not required service on our unit, we would still be paying for a service we weren't getting. We ended up going with another water treatment service, but Luckel will not even come pick up the junk water softener that we tirelessly tried to get fixed. If anyone is still renting a unit from Luckel Water Treatment Services, and receiving a rental invoice each month from them, you may want to consider switching to different service.

First experience was fantastic - friendly, reasonably priced, did exactly what we discussed with no surprises. Their most recent experience was not good. They contacted him directly and trusted his work and character based on their past experience. He horrendously overcharged them almost $1500 - for a new sink replacement. He picked up a sink from Menards which he charged over $300 for. The rest I'm assuming was his labor cost. I understand there's typically a high hourly rate for skilled labor. I also understand if you want to charge a surcharge for the unit or delivery. What I don't understand is how you justified charging them almost three times the cost of the original unit. Menards is literally 10 minutes away and it's not even a "high-end" model. My parents may have a language barrier but I certainly can price check and it's disgusting that you would take advantage of their ignorance. Especially as return customers.

We ultimately didn't go with him, as the quote he gave us was equal with the amount of our final choice. However, the difference was if we went with Nick's company we would've still had to pay another company to drywall (before we could even start using the shower) and get the room ready to paint. The same amount got us a finished project elsewhere. He was nice and seemed knowledgeable. His quote was just out of our budget.
