The shop is owned by Native Americans -- I believe from the Navajo tribe -- and you can really feel the authenticity and care that went into everything. Prices felt very fair, and there were tons of little trinkets and souvenirs to choose from. They even have a small museum section with fascinating items from a long time ago, which makes it even more special. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. I really appreciated that they allowed me to take pictures -- a lot of Native American shops don't, but they were very open about it here. Outside, the fun continues! There are plenty of cool photo ops -- from dinosaurs to an old car and other quirky displays. If you're ever traveling along this route, this is definitely a must-stop spot. No walking sole, for comfort and bliss, on sand or sidewalk. This tried on many, then bought a turquoise ring for my birthday. Part way through the shopping I gleaned the information that The Aunt who owned the store recently passed on, so they may not be open on weekends for awhile. Here are just a few photos of many that I took. The price was right on my Moccasins and ring! Variety? Indeed! A lot of items for children, men and women! The dinosaurs are huge but then so are the piles upon piles of petrified wood and other rocks surrounding the building. I believe my husband was grateful they were closed, he seemed to relax a bit more as we strolled around the perimeter!! I definitely would have loved to get my hands on some of the fine specimens they had just laying in the dirt! Everywhere we looked it said they were open the afternoon we drove through town but unfortunately it was all locked up and no sign of anybody around. Since we found it on Roadside Attractions, we treated it as such and just enjoyed the unique dinosaurs and a chance to stretch our legs!
