They had great food then. Bar Hop had a food truck with exceptionally delicious food as well as the Tribe serving hamburgers. This year, the Lefties team owner kicked out all vendors hoping to support advertising of his own new restaurant. Now they only serve hotdogs, funnel cake and pretzels at the games and they are mediocre at best. The beer selection is still good but the business decisions of the team owner leave the experience no better than a high school event.

This is an old fashion grass field that is located in the center of Downtown Kirkland. It is some of the best burgers around and also surrounded by other establishments. We are so fortunate to have such a facility in our town. I would have to tell everyone if you are driving by and the lights are on, stop by and grab a burger. They are good and the burger snack is run by a local kids baseball organization. Summer warm nights are on their way soon, stop by the park. The playground in the outfield is lit by the baseball field at night so little ones can play even when it is dark and the run over and grab some dinner sit on the grass hill or bleachers and support our next generation of baseball stars.

There needs to be some extensive enforcement of dangerous and downright stupid parking during big events. Just came here for an event last weekend and cars were parking three-deep, completely blocking in cars in the middle. Imagine one of those folks needing to leave, only to find they're boxed in by half a dozen vehicles. Parking in the grass, parking on planted tree-filled areas, parking in handicap spaces with no pass. The unfortunate truth is that the Fairgrounds was built for a smaller population in Kitsap. All the growth with no change in infrastructure to support it. Sigh...

While the fields are older, equipment and amenities in the "well-loved" condition, it is still a great place for kids in LL to play some ball. Please remember, LL is purely powered by volunteers. It is a safe assumption that this property is maintained in the same manner. It may not be shiny and new- but the fields are playable, the stands are sturdy, and the kids who play here have a blast. 4 stars- cause while there is room for improvement for this property- it is amazing to see a community attraction that is run from selfless community activism!!

Wonder how many really were parked for baseball vs touring wineries? Location- waze was a bit confusing but its in the loop right next to chateu st michelle and purple. As in, in the loop. Large gravel lot for parking Pay at gate for entry ($5 adult, kids under 7 free) Concession had lots of options including ice cream man ice cream,burgers, etc. Real bathrooms and sinks were clean. No playground meant my 3 yr old was grumpy. And not really an area for him to run and play except the main path where there was constant foot traffic. The fields were very well maintained. Not much space between fields so it seemed more crowded than it was. Bleacher seating but lots of parents brought their own chairs.
