Rude. Says they take walk ins but they don't. I was turned away twice. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

We are vacationing on Atlantic Beach and on a recommendation took my 88 year old father in for some much needed foot attention. I have severe allergies and asthma. The smells in these places always get me coughing. After assuring the employees I was fine and would stop coughing soon, coving my mouth, even putting a mask on to make him feel better (which just makes me cough more!) I was asked to leave because I was making them uncomfortable. What if I was the one getting the pedicure? Would they have turned me away? If dad's feet hadn't been in the water already, we would have left. Can not recommend because of the VERY poor and unwelcoming atmosphere. read more

I work within walking distance to the salon. I like to make my appointments for 5pm after work. They are very accommodating, friendly and do beautiful work. Their pricing is competitive and their salon is the cleanest I've seen. I would recommend this salon to family and friends. read more

Everyone was nice at crystal nails. Unfortunately, the man who did my nails was terrible at painting nails. I got gel color and it was so messy. I had to ask him to file the excess off the sides and tips. He went all over my cuticles too. They kept saying how the part on the skin will just wash off after a while which I'm aware of, I've had gel color before. I also am aware that if the color gets on your skin/cuticles it starts to peel up in a day or two. Now I'm not even a week out and my mani looks like crap. I went while I was on vacation so I can't even go back to have them fix it! I guarantee tourists who are one-time customers are how this place stays open. read more

Had a manicure and pedicure done today by Helen. The spa pedicure chairs are great - they sit high enough up from the spa tub that you don't get cramps in your legs from not being able to stretch them. The water jet "thingys" are pulled out and cleaned after every pedicure. Helen did a great job - thorough and I didn't feel like she was trying to take off the entire epidermis. Very relaxing and a nice job! I brought in my own polish, but the brush had detached from the wand! The gentleman cleaned off one from another OPI polish and gave me the brush for my bottle. My Mother lives in Beaufort and is a regular customer here. My husband and I purchased 4 gift cards totaling $120.00 for her to get two manicures and pedicures at Christmas 2016. She went to get a mani/pedi done before a big event and in the process of checking out, the owner, Sean, proceeded to chastise my Mother in front of a whole store of clientele by raising his voice and speaking to her in a demeaning manner and said that the gift cards were no longer good. He said that there is teeny tiny print that showed that they expired after 4 months. When my husband purchased these, he was not notified that there was an expiration date on there and we believe that we should have been notified so that she could have used them. But the issue is the way that he spoke to my Mother and embarrassed her and made her feel that she was using a bad gift card. There is absolutely no excuse to treat her that way and I emphatically believe that this place should at the minimum apologize to her for treating her that way and rest assured she will never go back there. Morehead City/Beaufort is a small tight knit community and I would stress that anybody looking to go here reconsider a different place that would treat you more professionally. And any existing customers should also consider a new place. My Mom has been going here for several years now and they have lost a good customer. You can guarantee that I will never go there myself when I visit. read more
