I used trash bags and then weighed them. The driver called me the day of and gave me a window of time and came directly to my 8th floor apartment door with a giant, rolling bin to pickup my four bags. He is the hero of this story. When the cleaners had questions, he called me. Then we picked a time for him to drop-off based on my schedule. My clothes came back in clear, plastic bags all folded and yes, smelled clean. I could track everything in the app and the receipt was sent to me via email with the breakdown. My weight (of clothes) matched theirs and I was not surprised by the bill. I dropped off three pairs of jeans to be taken in at the waist since I've lost weight and wanted them to fit better. I also needed the legs shortened a bit, and one needed a pocket replaced. They quoted me a price of about $160 and I left. When I returned to pick them up a week later, they told me the price was about $30 more. They explained that one pair needed the crotch mended, and they also washed them. They had my phone number, but didn't call me to authorize the additional work! They just went ahead and performed it. I would have authorized the crotch repair, but I question the need to wash them, as I knew they had a policy that they'd only mend clean clothes, so I washed them first. I honestly wonder if it's even legal to perform unauthorized work and bill for it. I'm not going to file a claim with the appropriate government agency since it's only about $30, but it strikes me as a variant on "bait and switch". It's also worth pointing out that they don't take credit or debit cards. I'm unsure if they'll take checks, but I had planned to pay cash. I had enough to pay the original amount plus a bit more, but I was about $6 short. Perhaps they realized I was annoyed already, since they let the amount slide. I'll probably still use them since they're very convenient to my home, but I'm less enthusiastic than before.

Today, I found out that this Laudromat's bathroom which is very frequent especially at late times from 9pm. I really had to go urgently but was disappointed once again that I can't ease myself. I quickly ran to the 711 next door and I was told there is no public restroom. No other stores nearby were open. Finally, I had to go with another option which I can't mention. I complained to the staff and she look at me like I was crazy. I believe they clean the bathroom too early and not wanting to clean again Another time, I had to close the door behind me after being scared of being there with strange people and no staff around. I prayed so hard like never before. Staff are often missing and one can't get any assistance when needed. It is shameful that their bathrooms are not accessible especially at night! I have pictures but this has been disabled for some weird reason on google.
