Parking is a bit tight, but I guess there was ample space when I got here at about 1:00 in the afternoon for lunch. If you are going to a particular location in here, there is nothing wrong with it. Do not think that it is a place to go shopping.

The only reason it…read moredoesn't get 5 stars from me is because it is directly across the street from First Coast High School and when the teenie-boppers get out of school in the afternoon, it seems the majority of them show up here. So try to avoid this place when school is in session in the late afternoon, I know I sure do! The main feature of this shopping center is the huge Publix. There's also a Papa John's, Edible Arrangements, Hair Cuttery, Sun Sun Garden (Chinese Place), and Bono's (just to some of the places). Once upon a time ago, there was a Blockbuster here... you remember those, right? Bono's is now in the space Blockbuster occupied.... still to this day, whenever I pull into this shopping center and see Bono's, my mind still sees Blockbuster there. Weird. This is a very well maintained shopping center with a well maintained parking lot. I'm so glad we have it here in Oceanway because I still remember the day when there were nothing but trees here.

The shopping center is in good condition with a ratchet Publix but also Family Dollar and T-Mobile and a Chinese buffet. Starbucks and Wing Stop and a Bealls Outlet. Large strip shopping center located on Dunn Avenue. Unfortunately, a lot of the stores have moved…read moreout over the years because the area has gone down since they built the huge River City Marketplace. I just hope it doesn't go down anymore than it already has. But it continues to stay pretty busy and it has Publix as the large anchor store here. JSO (Jacksonville Sheriff's Office) has a large sub-station in this shopping center, so thanks to that, I always feel safe here. If it weren't for that fact, I honestly don't know that I'd continue to shop here. Parts of the parking lot have been repaved... others have not. So, depending on where you are in the parking lot, watch out for large potholes! In addition to Publix, DD's Discounts has just opened a new, large store here. You'll also find a Family Dollar, Sally Beauty Supply, Bealls Outlet, GameStop, and Bailey's Gym. There's also quite a few smaller stores here. If you're looking for something to eat, there's China Buffet, Cici's Pizza, and Firehouse Subs (to name a few). In the parking lot, you'll find Checker's and Starbucks in their own buildings. I remember when they built the SBUX here... I honestly didn't think it'd stand a chance, so I'm honestly surprised to see it still standing. You'll still see Dollar Tree and Radio Shack on the large sign for the shopping center; however, Radio Shack is about to go (they have their "going out of business" signs up) and Dollar Tree has moved down the street a few blocks into it's own building.

If I had to pick the anchor store, I would guess it would be the Mega Liquidation Center, though I came in here on a quest for Mexican food and heard about this place called Pepe's Hacienda. In addition to those two businesses, I noticed a pizzeria, a dentist called Economy Dentistry. A University of Florida Pediatric Center, a Quest Diagnostics, a dry cleaners and various other small businesses who call this shopping center home. Oh, there were also a few banks. The parking lot looks well maintained and the shopping plaza was relatively clean. All in all, my visit to this plaza and the Mexican restaurant was a positive one. While I would not recommend coming here to do some shopping, it is not a bad place to head to if you have business in one of the businesses here.

Just a handful of spots to park- every time I have pulled into this shopping center I am always surprised how many cars are in here! There is an Autozone adjacent- but truly the stores in this little shopping center hold their own. Be careful pulling in- anyone parked center is in the direct line of incoming traffic if they are backing out. I also prefer to park away from that entrance for the same reason. This shopping center has a little of everything and plenty of possibilities to open more stores! Plenty of parking, and some of the strips are out on the perimeter of the plaza- you can walk or you can hop in the car and drive to you next stop in the shopping center! We did both- Peterbrooke was on the perimeter- so we drove over. But all the other stores were within walking distance and it was a gorgeous evening when we went there. Enjoy shopping!

My husband and I love Tinseltown and were curious when they began building on the South-Western…read moreside or the parking lot in front of the Cinemark Theater. One of the first businesses to catch our eye was the Insomnia Cookies! Soupa Noodle Bar anchored the Northern end of the plaza and Class UFC Gym is at the South end. In between is an assortment of businesses including Senor Loco Taco, Kazu Sushi Burrito, Niore Nail Bar and Pizza Hut. We were just reading an article about Pizza Hut closing a bunch of locations- I wonder if this one will survive the cut. Because this little plaza was built in a large parking lot in front of the movie theater- there is an abundance of parking. There is some cross cutting traffic because of the location.... I may be guilty of that myself- especially right now with the movie theater closed. This little plaza packs a punch with food- and is a good addition the the Tinseltown area. Enjoy and careful of traffic in the lot.
