I think americans and our economy are doing pretty good this year after seeing all the busy people buying all the high end stuff at the St john's town center this 2025 christmas. I am really happy to see it as the last couple of years, wasn't so busy. Enjoying all the upgrades to the stores.The new looks and parking was pretty easy even though it was it was packed. This is an upscale outdoor shopping center located on the south side of Jacksonville off of 295 south. There are many smaller stores as well as some bigger stores like Dillard's, Nordstrom, Barnes and Noble, Restoration Hardware, and many others. There are also several restaurants like Cheesecake Factory, PF Changs, Ted's Montana Grill, Maggiano's, and many others. There is plenty of parking around some of the bigger stores. Came to do some shopping in the wonderful outdoor St. John's Town Center! Please keep in mind this is not good for rainy weather because you do walk outside and then have to go into the stores. They have stores from all categories such as Nordstrom, Anthropology, Dick's Sporting Goods, and more! The stores are a bit more on the expensive side because it's not an outlet but it is very nice. Highly recommend to anyone! read more

This town center has a remarkable selection of shopping, restaurants, beauty stores, and even a nail salon! Ranging from bargain stores to bougie upscale designer shops. The few stores I visited were friendly and well stocked. Definitely a great area to shop or dine in if you are in the area. read more

St. Johns Town Center has something for almost everyone. I love going to the town center on a nice day and walk around and visit the various stores. The grounds are always well maintained and clean. Parking can be an issue on a busy weekend or holidays especially if you can't walk long distance. read more

We come to St. Johns Town Center pretty often--it's one of our favorite spots to walk around with the kids. The place is clean, spacious, and there's always something going on, which makes it a fun outing for the whole family. I love that there's a good mix of shopping and dining, and the atmosphere feels lively without being too hectic. One thing that could definitely be improved is the kids' playground area. It's a nice bonus to have it there, but it really needs some love--either expanding it or fixing up what's already there would make a big difference. Right now it feels a bit neglected and doesn't quite match the rest of the center's vibe. Still, it's a great place to spend a few hours, grab a bite, let the kids burn off some energy, and enjoy the Florida sunshine. If they updated that playground, it'd be a solid five stars from me! read more

Checked out St. John's Town Center at Night when it was closed so we could walk our dog. This is a huge area with tons of stores upscale and regular. They also have a handful of restaurants and in the nearby plaza more stores such as Ross and other stores like that. This mall area doesn't appear to have much shade. So it doesn't seem ideal during the day unless you park right in front of a store you want to go to. This mall reminded me of my mall by my house Shops at Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel, FL. But I did not love it as much I do love that if you do go shopping, this is the area where all the stores are in one place. read more

St Johns Town Center has just about any shop, store or restaurant you could possibly think of. I frequently shop at Ross, Victoria's Secret, Dick's Sporting Goods and Target. I love to eat at Ida Claire and enjoy hitting some golf balls at Top Golf. I go at least once a month to Aldi which happens to be across the street from Total Wine. I recently picked up a friend, visiting from Baltimore, at a hotel behind Dick's that I didn't even know was there;) They have expanded Town Center a lot since I moved here in 2014. My biggest complaint is the traffic. I avoid Town Center from Thanksgiving until the beginning of January. Except for Aldi as I can come in on that end and avoid most of the traffic. St Johns Town Center is a nice place to shop and eat close to home. read more

Somebody said fancy and overpriced? Oh yeah! First off this mall it's beautiful, very fancy stores and a lot to look at, my only issues are this: I live in NYC the capital of fashion so I know the designer stores collections are outdated and outlet worthy while still in regular price EXCUSE ME? And people buying anyways lol yall going out sad here in Jacksonville. If you are a designer customer please invest additional 200 in a round trip ticket with delta and fly to NYC I promise you you will purchase new collection worth your hard working money. St. John's Town Center is a large shopping center that is hip, attractive, chockful of great stores and restaurants and basically a great addition for the community and travelers alike. This shopping plaza has a ton of great restaurants including the Cheesecake Factory, Maggiano's Little Italy, Ted's Montana Grill, a burger and shake place, a pretzel place and plenty more. As for shopping stores, they have plenty of great options including a Barnes and Noble, a Dick's Sporting Goods, clothing stores like American Eagle and Aerospotle, they even have a Dollar Tree. The property is great. It is sprawling and attractively landscaped. Parking us plentiful, but they can fill because people come here to eat, shop and just enjoying the shopping center and life in general. Walking here is a pleasure. One thing that I thought was nice was the little pond that I watched as I had dinner at Maggiano's Little Italy. It is the little touches like this, that makes this shopping center such a great place. I also noticed that they do have security walking the property. I just seen one guard, but I am sure there were others. Overall, this shopping plaza is great. I like that there is plenty of options for both shopping and dining andcI like the whole vibe of the place. Obviously from all of the people that were there, many other people are liking this place, too. I give it five stars and definitely recommend it. read more

While St Johns can get a bad rep for being busy constantly, it is well worth the trouble. It has everything. We live close by and have loved the access to top-tier restaurants and stores. If you can visit during the holidays, that's another great time to see all of the Christmas trees and beautiful lights. It is setup mostly from a lower cost to higher cost store as you move down the strip with some exceptions. For instance, Apple is on one end while Target is on the other. There are also activity spots like Top Golf and Escape Room, which are fun activities to check out. Some of our favorite restaurants in the area are Coopers Hawk, Ida Claire, and RH Rooftop. We also enjoy visiting REI and Lululemon for the storefront side of things. You are certainly able to use the long strip as a workout location too since you could walk for miles on both sides of the main strip and still have leftover spots to discover. This is certainly a main spot in JAX that cannot be missed. read more

Goodness what better way to endure the COVID-19 crisis than doing a virtual visit to a favorite missed shopping mall in the area! I knew the day would come when I would have to write on St. John's Town Center, so why not now? First, I would say in my own view that St. John's is a good mall - not a great one. Now I admit my bias on this one because it is missing a few of my favorite stores. Also, it's soooooo spread out! You have stores spread out on a strip (generally the best ones) and then another set across a road that is within walking distance, but would be totally miserable on a hot JAX day (we know there are plenty of those!)! To complicate things, I definitely have to make the drive over to places like Best Buy (a fave of mine) and a separate drive to Red Robin if I'm on a burger kick. But Grub is next to Best Buy, so I can save a little gas! Oh wait! I have a gift card to Red Robin to use! Guess I have another trip to take after all!! OK, that's sort of the negative and I'd prefer to start with the positive. There is an excellent array of shopping outlets here. Some on the higher cost end like Nordstrom's (I love the E-Bar Cafe!), Dillards, and Apple Store. And it's good to have stores like Van's there because they certainly better fit my price range - but I have to stay away from the millennial stuff! :D JK I tend to like tech, so having the Apple Store and Microsoft store at the same place is a good thing. I will also credit St. John's for having a pretty solid offering of restaurants on the complex and nearby. From Panda Express, to Burger WiFi, and Seasons 52, there really is a wide array of restaurants across all types and status at St. John's. There should be no disappointment in these offerings except for some, it may take forever to decide where to eat! St. John's Town Center is THE mall of Jacksonville. Though I miss some shops that I wish were here like Lids, at least I know some are still around - just have to drive to another part of the southern end of JAX. But overall, I enjoy this mall. The St Johns Town Center is a nice mall, but they really need a parking deck; it's so hard to find parking here. The mall has a nice variety of stores including Dillard's, Disney Store, Nordstroms, etc. And they have quite a few restaurants as well like Chicken Salad Chick, Maggiano's, Firehouse, Kilwin's, and many more. The town center has a little something for everyone. The two biggest problems here are parking and traffic (people driving). read more

I really enjoy the outside concept of the St Johns Town Center. It's very nice to go shopping on the outside during the warmer days. It also doesn't make you feel constricted like a traditional mall. The shopping center has options that are on the budget friendly end and the more expensive side. I guess it's a good blend for any price bracket to shop at. There are a good number of restaurants to dine at which is nice so that you don't have to go too far for food. I've have been to several restaurant and all have been decent. Parking is a bit annoying, but not too bad. read more

I came here in dire need of a good sports coat. I drove here after work, checking out a few men's department stores. As I walked around, I was impressed by the many great options this mall has. You can shop upscale here, and have a bite at many great restaurants here. I walked through the several blocks that comprise this outdoor mall. It was a nice walk, in spite of the hot and humid weather. The folks here were nice, they were a pleasant crowd. After perusing the many options, I finally chose the store from which to buy the sports coat I needed. I then made the long walk back to the car. But the walk was not bad, as this place is beautiful and well-guarded. I would recommend this place, just keep the weather in mind. read more

St. Johns Town Center - Shopping Centers Near Me - Jacksonville, Florida

I know people that avoid the Town Center because mainly because of the traffic; I'm not one of those people. I've even been here probably at it's busiest time of year; the Holiday Spectacular. If you don't like crowds and traffic, avoid this event, which usually takes place in November. I usually come here in the weekdays or in evenings and that seems to work out well. The Town Center identifies itself an upscale shopping center, and while there are plenty of high end stores to choose from, I feel like there is something for everything or should I say every budget. According to their website they have 150 stores. Almost a one stop shop if you ask me. Only downside is it's not walkable due to it's massive size. As if the shopping center isn't already big enough, they're opening at least dozen new restaurant in 2017. Currently the parking garage is under constuction. Hopefully it'll have a smart parking system like at Disney Springs. There are so many dining options to choose from, granted they're probably all franchises / chain restaurants, but still great options nonetheless. There's everything from quick eats, to casual, and fine dining. They are pet friendly, although I don't think they've updated the map directory to indicate which stores allow dogs, but I was told the ones with dog bowls outside the store is currently how you can tell dogs are allowed. I know they do have a dog park as well but I've seen some bad reviews about it not being well maintained so we've kept our fur babies away. If you're not in a rush, it's actually a pretty relaxing place to be. Sometimes I'll order food to-go from one of the restaurants and do a modern picnic at one of several areas with seating and / or tables (the court by Nordstrom is nice). Walking around with the beautiful palm trees on a nice evening just makes me appreciate FL living. read more

They even have restaurants such as Maggianos with a pond resting area to relax and unwind. Fountains by the cafes and restaurants also give it a great look. Town center is just so big with continuous expansion it would be difficult to include everything in this review. It's definitely something you have to see for yourself. What they it caters to- every style, whatever food your in the mood for, phone shopping, cosmetics, groceries, furniture, spa massages, coffee, shoes, clothing etc. Some Shops included- Victoria's Secret, Apple, Sephora, Tesla, Dillard's, Nordstrom, Express, Starbucks, Ross, Pier 1 imports, Target, Publix, etc. Some restaurants included- Cheesecake Factory, P.F. They have high end stores like Tiffany & Co. and Louis Vuitton and mid-level stores like lululemon and Tommy Bahama. It's a beautiful space with a lot of options. read more

"Trust me, I'm a mall person!" ... And I'm telling you that the St. John's Town Center offers the best (and only) mixture of great shopping, entertainment, dining, housing, and lodging in the Jacksonville area, period! The staff and security are super friendly and helpful, the landscaping and layout is gorgeous, there are turtles and a Koi fish pond for your viewing pleasure, and don't even get me started on the food options as many of my local favorites are here! Little Known Fact: When we met, my hubby lived here in the Esplanade condos! Well, ya' know I loved it... Until Black Friday and Christmas shopping season hit, so we've got history here. (It was the best of times, it was the worst of times!) SJTC totally wins "best shopping mall" in Jax! It spans all prices ranges and has a great variety of brands and stores to choose from. From Target to Tiffany's -- It's a one stop shop! ... And the parking isn't half bad to boot! The only drawback for me is its open-air mall status on rainy days! But hey, rain happens I guess. If you plan to visit, plan to be here for hours at minimum! Good stuff! read more

The best time to come here is when the weather is a little cooler. Only then is it actually enjoyable to visit the shops and walk around that labyrinth of Kool. I would never visit in the summer. There's a great selection of stores for everyone, but my favorites are the specialty beauty shops because I love to see what's new in makeup and skincare and of course, The Apple Store. Keep in mind I'm an online shopper and don't like crowds nor do I like being fully clothed drenched of sweat. If you have guests from out of town, this would be a good place to take them if they're not into natural landmarks nor the great outdoors. I just love the Town Centre... unless it's the middle of the summer and with humidity it's like 110 degrees outside! If it's that friggin' hot outside, screw the Town Centre and the outdoor shopping, I'm heading to The Avenues or The Orange Park Mall! LOL There are a ton of stores here though that you won't find anywhere else in Jacksonville like Urban Outfitters (SO happy we finally have one of these), Oakley, Pandora, and Fossil, just to name a new. Then you have the really upscale places that I think we're lucky to have here in Jax like Louis Vouitton, Michael Kors, and Tiffany & Co. Jacksonville is becoming hot sh**, huh?! LOL When it isn't 110 degrees outside, this is my favourite place in jacksonville to shop and to window shop. Sometimes I have no intention of making any purchases, I just want to get out of the house. Often when that happens, I head here. Just take a look at my check-ins... I've maybe been here once or twice! LOL As others have mentioned, tons of places to eat here whether you're looking for fast food or a nice sit down meal. There's even a couple of upscale restaurants here too. Or maybe you just want to grab a snack? There's plenty to choose from in that department too like froyo or Auntie Anne's Pretzels, or cupcakes, or ice cream, or chocolate covered whatever you can think of at Peterbrooke. I also agree with everyone else that parking is a complete and utter clusterfu**! There's just no other way to put it. Good luck finding a parking place. You may want to take Naomi B's advice and valet so you don't have to deal with the headache. But, no matter where you park your car, this is an outdoor mall, so you're going to have to do some walking, for sure. And they just keeping adding on and adding on.
