I called again and the employees held the sequin bag for me to pick it up all of the employees in the store are SO sweet helping me find whatever I need fixing problems and holding items for me so I don't need to hurry into traffic at rush hours while sick. They went above and beyond and are just the sweetest girls and I had to leave a review because so often you go shopping and the store girls don't help you or are cold and the experience is harder then online. However this was just the cutest experience today from like 3-5pm. They're so chipper and helpful that even though I accidentally didn't even check a bag they were happy to help and save the day on top of holding the skirt of my dreams for a few mins! Stop by this mall with my Lady while visiting Jacksonville Easter weekend. She wanted to get her…read morenails done at a spot recommended to her from a friend who used to live here, so we decided to stop in. The nail shop review is under a separate review. But overall, this mall has definitely seen better days. While the exterior doesn't necessarily reveal the level of aging, when you get inside the mall you noticed pretty quickly but this mall is likely on it's downturn. There are several closed, or seemingly closed stores, and most of the traffic seems relegated to a couple of the larger department stores like H&M and Belk. A lot of empty kiosks in the middle of the walkway with the rest of them being occupied by local vendors that didn't seem to be getting much business at all. And if teenagers are still headed to malls on Saturday's to hang out, this is clearly not the mall that most of the local teenagers here hang out in as the traffic was surprisingly light for a Saturday - I just realized that may appeal to certain readers of this review. Lol. Anyway, unless you are visiting a specific store in this mall as a destination, I would probably suggest finding one of Jacksonvilles bigger malls for a true mall experience.

Sawgrass Village is the local shopping center for the Ponte Vedra area, but it's not exactly a…read moredestination like St. Johns Town Center. It is dotted with locally owned shops & boutiques and a few big anchors like Publix and CVS. It starting a redevelopment project in 2013 and I like the idea of where it's trying to go. I've had jewelry repairs done at Village Jeweler. I've eaten breakfast at Elizabeth's. And I've gotten a couple of manicures at Sawgrass Nails. It's got a variety of shops, but it definitely could use some fresh places. I just hope they can refill the shops and give me options to support locally in my own neighborhood rather than having to - goodness forbid - cross the ditch! Even a quick service chain like Panera would be nice for this end of the beach; I'll guess we'll have to wait and see.

Recently visited with my DD who was in from out of town. She is starting a new job and needed a few…read morework essentials like skirts, pants, blouses. She had great success in her search! We were impressed with the quality of items, the prices and the variety of colors and sizes. We also found the Attendant who was manning the changing rooms area to be very professional and helpful when we were looking for alternate sizes. I have to say I was very impressed with Nordstrom Rack and will definitely be adding it to my list of places to shop in Jacksonville.

I have visited the Triple-A on a few occasions when in need of passport and/or other ID photos. I did visit the Tropical Smoothie a few times before they moved next door. I have yet to venture into the Dollar Tree, but I am glad they found something to replace the Blockbuster. While I would always hope for more dining options in PV, I'm happy with an occupant full shopping center. For as small (few shops) as the strip center is it has ample parking.

However, I did find an insane amount of deluxe edition books that I love at the back of the store, near all their stationery products. As the bibliophile that I am, I couldn't pass up the opportunity and bought a few copies that will keep me entertained while freezing at the beach. Besides that, I also got some great deals on snacks and a few other items for the family. So at the end of the day, regardless of how odd it was not to find a single women's sweatshirt, I still got some great deals on other stuff.

Truth be told, I tend to be in flip flops or sneakers most of the time. This particular trip I was looking for a nude pair of sandals to wear with a dress for family photos coming up. Typically I'll just buy a pair of sandals on Amazon to avoid having to sift through a shoe department, but found a nice pair of heeled nude sandals that looked like they could be a winner. I tried them on, they were slingbacks, they had a velcro strap instead of a buckle, and they had a heel. They were also priced at $24.99, which was a good price. I looked around the remainder of the store, and luckily for me I didn't find anything else, because I really didn't need anything else. I wound up purchasing the sandals. Checkout was a breeze, the associate was nice. Parking was fine here, just be careful there are always people coming and going out of here.
