The designs on each hand were different sizes and looked uneven. In addition, some of the nails were not shaped or trimmed evenly, and one nail is noticeably crooked. We've visited this salon before and usually had positive experiences, which makes this especially disappointing. She was doing BIAB (Builder in a Bottle) long before it became popular around town, and her attention to detail is unmatched. Whether I bring her a simple idea or an inspiration photo, she always takes the vision and executes it flawlessly. My most recent Juneteenth-inspired set is a perfect example. I showed her a photo and she recreated it beautifully, capturing every detail while still making it uniquely hers. Time and time again, she proves why I keep coming back. What makes BG special isn't just the quality of the work. It's the people. Grecia, Fallon (Falli), and the entire team create an atmosphere that is welcoming, friendly, and professional. Before my appointment, I asked if Grecia was available, but I was told she was out of town, so I decided to give another technician a try. The technician was polite, but the service itself was not what I expected. I received a basic pedicure with very little attention to detail. My acrylic toenail was cut incorrectly, my nails were cut too short, and the overall service felt rushed. I showed the technician a photo of the design I wanted, but I was told it could not be done. I then showed a second design, but they did not have the heart decoration needed. I changed my request again to a butterfly design, but because my nails had already been cut too short, the butterfly was too large to fit properly. At that point, after being there for over an hour and seeing the design was not turning out correctly, I decided to switch to a simple French tip pedicure. Even that did not come out the way I expected. It became obvious that once another customer arrived for an appointment, the technician began rushing through my service. When I paid, I asked for a breakdown of the charges and was told the total included the basic pedicure, acrylic work, and shellac polish. Although I was unhappy with the final result, I still paid in full. Afterward, I took photos and reached out to Grecia to explain what happened and give her an opportunity to address my concerns. She told me she would review the salon's video footage and get back to me. Instead of following up or attempting to resolve the issue, she blocked me. Mistakes can happen, and I understand that no salon is perfect. However, what disappointed me the most was not the pedicure itself--it was the lack of professionalism and customer service afterward. As a paying customer, I expected my concerns to be taken seriously and handled respectfully. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.
