I walked out after a very unpleasant experience with glue and gel still on my fingers. The old man did not finish the pedicure and the nail tech Bonnie? started my nails then left me in a mess to go to another customer to work on her nails. The old man helped her some but he hurt my thumb filing to hard and burned my skin. I still have to go back there for them to fix the problems they left me in or get my money back. Worst manicure I've ever had. The polish was old and clumpy and I wound up with more of it on my fingers than on my nails. The salon was very dirty. The cuticle cutters the manicurist used looked like they'd been used without being cleaned between customers (stored in a box with dirty paper towels). When I arrived, there was only one man there but he was outside smoking. He put my hands in a bowl of warm water, then disappeared without explanation. Ten minutes later, another man walked in and started working on my nails. No sign of the first man. The cost was $15 for a regular manicure. I could've done a better job at home. read more

If I could give zero stars I would! The worst manicure ever. Previous polish was left around cuticles. Not filed evenly, all the nails are different shapes. Some are rounded some squared. I also asked for cuticle oil and she didn't understand English well enough understand what I was asking for. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I went here to get my eyebrows waxed and the man who helped me did a fantastic job. The location seemed a little sketchy and the man smelled very strongly of cigarettes, but it was worth it for how well he did on my eyebrows. If I'm ever in Abilene again, I will definitely go back. read more

I thought I'd try Deluxe Nails because they are close to my office. I will never go there again. When I walked in and asked for a full set, the only employee in the place told me to pick which tips I wanted from several piles of tips in boxes on the counter. I explained that I just wanted a pale pink colored acrylic powder and not a decorative tip. After much back and forth conversation he said he understood and showed me a pretty pale pink color. I agreed that was what I wanted. After putting the tips on and putting the acrylic powder on one hand he asked me how I liked it. I explained that it was not what I wanted because the color was different once he put it on my nails and it was transparent. You could see where he glued the tip on under the pink powder. At this point I did not have time to do anything else so he suggested just soaking them off and I could go on my way. I agreed. Once the nails were off, I started to walk toward the door and he stopped me and asked me to pay. I asked "Pay for what?" He explained that I owed him for his time and the product used on my hand. I replied that I didn't think I owed anything because he was not able to do what I asked. He became enraged and started yelling and locked the door to his store and said I couldn't leave. I told him he could not lock me in his store and I would call the police. I unlocked the door and he kept yelling. By this point another worker came in and asked what was going on. After explanations by both of us, I asked the second employee what I needed to pay for and he said if I would pay $10 for soaking off the 5 nails he did put on we would be ok. I did that and walked out. I have been getting my nails done for 15 years and that was the worst nail experience I've ever had. read more
