We hired Luis for his Dj and MC services back in late 2019 before the pandemic hit. He stuck by our side through all of our date changes, theme changes, venue changes and delivered one of the most memorable days of our lives which was on our wedding day in Sep. 2021. Luis worked with us tirelessly, days and nights, monthly check ins, days leading up to the big day, even the night before ironing out the last details. Luis helped us out in many more ways than just DJ and MC. He helped by creating agendas, managing and helping the day of, keeping us on time, and at the end of the night creating one of the best parties. The date I booked ended up being perfect and Luis was ready to deliver-- he sent us Anthony who was FANTASTIC. He turned our backyard into the best dance club in the Bay-- with real mixing and genius segues. He knows his music and was able to serve up great tunes off of a sample of songs we sent (from ABBA to Shakira). Communication with the owner was quite easy, but on the day of the event I had no idea where the attendants were and I didn't get an update until I took initiative to ask where they were. Once they arrived, (they arrived on time!) they began setting up right away and then they walked through how everything worked with me personally. Everything seemed to be going well, but I asked about the angle of the photo and they told me that we can adjust it as needed. This seemed like a good idea until I noticed that several of the pictures were quite crooked, to the point where the photos were either slanted or the backdrop was off-center. On top of that, they kept pushing the camera back into my guests since it was nearby their table. There should have been an adequate amount of space, so I didn't really appreciate that. Another thing that I noticed is that the backdrop actually fell apart on my cousins during their shoot. Their props were decent, but a lot of the ones with a handle attached were actually upside down. For example, there was a mustache and a mouth that would have been fun to use, but they were both upside down when you held them. I liked that they mentioned we get unlimited prints, but when we tried to reprint them, the attendants said to my guests, "at the end" and we never got the reprints. There is a bit more to adjust while getting used to a photobooth business, but for how last minute I booked, it worked out okay.

It was very helpful to have organized requests and made it easy to share everything I was envisioning for wedding day, from ceremony music to cake cutting music to of course the dance floor music. He was extremely detail oriented, double checking with us on the exact timing of some of our selected songs (e.g. playing a song right as we had our first kiss).
