CSC is a huge company with the contract for our business in my apartment building. Their contract for the machines in our laundry room. If we have a problem with a machine or lose money we call the toll free number. It takes forever but eventually your card is credited. A wash is $2.50 and a clothes dryer $2.00. In my neighborhood that price per load is extremely reasonable! My problem is the lack of training when we are over 1400 apartments in this complex. Couldn't they have provided a training for these new machines? Even written instructions for the landlord to email to residents. There's many employees who are hired by residents such as nannies, housekeepers, and medical professionals who also use the machines. I Admit I have trouble with my memory these days. Today I didn't remember where to add my detergent and whitener. I am going to find out and write it down in my phone notes for next time! Besides residents not cleaning out the machines after they use, I haven't had a problem with the new machines. I do know one thing for sure my apartment maintenance keeps the laundry room exceptionally clean. It was noticeable today! I'm just frustrated because I'm expected to understand signs instead of being provided with written instructions! I figured that CSC Service Works is a Three Star for now. I don't need to recommend. I don't have a choice of laundry provider. I do like the price for brand new equipment! read more

The laundry in my building often breaks down. I put in a repair and refund request to CSC. I never receive my refunds. Same problem is reported by other tenants. I contacted CSC today and was told my request of Sept 2, 2025 is under investigation because I make too many refund requests. I replied that I only make request for refund when I lost money in machine. I asked when is the last time I requested a refund. Reply - 2024. Yes in 2024 I sent in a nonworking laundry card with $20 on it to CSC. I confirmed receipt of my card, but after repeated calls I never received a new card. SHAME ON CSC for their poor business practices, broken dirty filthy machines. read more

This company has been nothing but frustration and repeated problems for the year since my apartment complex outsourced the laundry service. Very poor decision and out of all the companies I've dealt with in my lifetime a d living in apartments this is one of the worst. Customer service is non existent practically and the company is so unethical that they report problems as repaired when they actually are not so you get a message saying the machine was repaired when in fact the exact same problem is still occuring. Like recently I reported a washer that was full of water twice and received messages say it was repaired. That's NOT the case as I saw yet again the machine was full of water!! And another machine keeps saying overflow even though there aren't many items of clothing inside at all. So basically I've reported problems at least twice online and received messages saying it's fixed but that is not the case. So I put in another service request for the same machines then the idiotic virtual assistant says you can't put in a other request for the same machine. I asked what are we supposed to do when it's a repeat problem? I got some customwr service email and copied my apartment complex management on it. I have to haul my laundry to a different part of my complex or other side of my building because of these worthless cheap machines. I understand things take time to repair but do it correctly and thoroughly so this doesn't keep happening. Tenants depend in laundry service and people have jobs kids family, appointments and many other obligations. We should not have to waste so much time reporting repeat problems and believe me I have already reported it to the management of my complex. I try to be patient and understanding but this is poor customer service that makes me and other tenants feel like we are not valued. I wishy complex could just handle laundry without outsourcing it , that was so much better and issues were resolved quickly and we didn't have constant issues with the machines. Yes sometimes there are people who overload a machine etc but most of the time people use the machine the way it's supposed to be used and this happens . I'm completely frustrated with this company and not just because of remorse problems but because they don't even have the decency to be honest about the machines. If it need more time so be it but stop saying the machines are repaired when they are not. Whatever repairs they are doing must low quality perfunctory, just like some checklist instead of taking time to get it right for customers. I read somewhere this company has an F rating from Better Business bureau and they should take this as a cue to strive toward improving the situation. read more

The absolute worst company to ever do business with. They installed their washers and dryers in our buildings and we have been receiving complaints from residents every day since the past 2 years. Their repairmen keep coming and act as if the machines are fixed but the machines still have the same issues: - The washers do not rinse/drain out the water - The dryers take 4-5 cycles to dry out such clothes Laundry has become a huge pain and they have recently increased the price per load as well. They just don't care about the customers since years of complaining hasn't led them to replacing these washers. I highly recommend people to NEVER do business with this company. The same dryer has been down for 4 months. One dryer started emitting smoke, e genuine fire hazard. We reported thru the app, called and still no fix. Their tech comes over, removes the sticker that says do not use and goes away. If you are a management company or a member of the board do not choose CSC as your laundry company. read more

CSC ServiceWorks/Appliance Warhouse Leasing. To be honest their customer service is a bit of a nightmare. We have been with them for over 10 years and our dryer broke down so we called to set up an appointment to fix it. They couldn't come for 2 weeks. On the day of the service they didn't list an ETA so we contacted them to check in only to find out that they no longer service our area and can't repair the machine. So we schedule a pickup for the washer & dryer for the next Tuesday (the only day they pick up) and we go to Costco and buy a washer and dryer and store their machines in our garage. Tuesday comes, we stay home all day and they haven't shown or contacted us so we call and no one know when or if they are coming so we have to schedule to the next Tuesday. We clear our schedule again for the next week and even though we call multiple times during the day to confirm and try to see if a manager can let us know what is happening they once again don't show and don't contact us. I call the next day and to both work orders and to service and they don't know anything and can't call the department that picks up machines. Even talking to a manager accomplishes nothing, I finally get through to someone who seemed to care in Finance and they wrote the department responsible for pickups while we were on the phone and emphasized they needed to contact us. They didn't. I tried contacting the corporate legal office, but that number just forwards back to the first three choices. I I'm left with few choices. We have scheduled a pickup for the coming Tuesday. After that our billing cycle renews and they will try to charge us for another month, though it has been a month since we first contacted them. What's left... contacting our Senators, contacting a lawyer? At this point I can truly say this is the worse customer service I have every experienced in over 50 years. It has been a horrible and frustrating experience dealing with CSC ServiceWorks. We have been paying lots of money to CSC ServiceWorks for their laundry machines and services. Several months ago, our tenants started complaining that the washer was leaking and the dryer could not dry clothes properly. Our property manager called CSC ServiceWorks multiple times to request services for the machines, but CSC ServiceWorks was not able to fix the problems and did not replace the broken machines. The tenants' complaints got intensified. We had no choice. We decided to cancel their services and buy our own laundry machines. We sent a cancellation request letter by certified mail per their instruction. Then we had to call them multiple times to follow up. They confirmed they received the cancellation request, but they came back saying we were still under contract and we had to buy them out. We could not recall we signed any contract with them and have never received any auto-renewal notice, so we asked them to send the contract to us. The contract we received from them was created and signed in 1989 by a different laundry company and someone we don't know. We bought the property in 2004. It's the first time we heard and saw this contract. We consulted with our attorney. The attorney sent a letter to them to let them know we cannot be bound by this old unenforceable contract and demand immediate cancellation. We sent a follow-up email to them after attorney's letter. Our property manager also contacted them multiple times to ask them to pick up their machines. We have not received any response from them. The way CSC ServiceWorks doing business and treating customers is completely unprofessional and immoral. read more

I have been trying to get a refund since October 2024. All I get is the run around or that they are reviewing the case, for almost a year, really!!! I think it's time to start a class action lawsuit. Avoid at all costs these machines, DO NOT move into any building that uses these machines. They break constantly, and if you are lucky enough to get ones that work be ready to be over charged and have to add extra time on the dryer bc even on hot they barley dry your clothes. Don't even bother with customer service, you will be on hold for a LONG TIME and they will do nothing in the end. My whole entire complex, over 50 buildings, lost every single washer and dryer for multi days, multiple times bc there crap machines lost WIFI and had to reset. I'm moving out of my building bc they use CSC machines. AVOID any renting complex that uses these machines, you will be ripped off if you have a chance to find a working unit. read more

They have an absolutely pathetic customer service! They never process refund requests. They will make the refund/replacement of card so long that you would be tired of emailing then and not receive it. I dont understand if their machine deducts money from our card without filling up the credits in the card, why can't they directly refund it to our cards! Are they living in the stone age? Do not waste your time with this company, they do not follow up via phone calls. They pass you off from one customer service to the next. There is no resolution, they do not communicate with the other department and they do not take notes, you will repeat yourself each time you call for assistance which by the way you will not receive. It takes week for CSC to send a service person to repair machines. I'm not sure if this is due to staff layoffs or incompetent management . When we first started with their service they repaired machines in a timely manner but something has drastically changed in the last year or so. We're still waiting on a repair now. If you're a building management company I would recommend you look at other laundry companies. CSC has been a tremendous disappointment. UPDATE: AUGUST 17TH 2023. Still no service going on SIX WEEK now. I can't reach a supervisor. The whole system is automated. Apparently they changed management a few months back and they are now a TERRIBLY-RUN company. Can Yelp please add a ZERO STAR rating because giving them 1 star seems misleading. This company needs a serious intervention. read more

I have rented since 2010, and CSC ServiceWorks is by far (bar none) the most incompetent laundry vendor I've ever dealt. If you move into a complex that utilizes this particular vendor, please factor that tidbit when choosing a place to live. Not only are their machines mostly nonfunctional/ half working all the time, but they're badly motivated, and I suspect have a nation wide scam that has spanned throughout several years. How? CSC absolutely deliberately sets their drying time to a level such that you will have to pay more for one load that routinely should be done in one go. I got wind that CSC serciceworks has set their 20+ year old machine to a drying time of 45 minutes. This is insufficient. For the past 2.5 years, I have been overpaying each time I use it by a factor of 2x. Always after one remittance to use their dryer (doesn't matter which machine), my clothes have ALWAYS never been dried enough where I can use it immediately. This is simply unacceptable. CSC then tried to cover their tracks and deflect the blame to the HOA. That it's of course not their fault, but the HOA mandated this ridiculous time schedule and I should redirect my anger at them. Then they changed their tune and told me that 'gas dryers cannot go above 45 minutes' which is ridiculous. So they lied, because I'd submit with their two narratives, only one can exist; not both. If that's the case, they need to upgrade their machine as I've been paying for a service I'm not properly receiving. Will be filing a Better Business Bureau complaint and calling lawyers to file a class action lawsuit. I suspect -- based on their reputation -- they have been exploiting their customers and doing this like clockwork -- across various cities and states. And the only way to hold them accountable is to go the distance and show them them they cannot continue this type of predatory behavior. Anyone experiencing this please private message me. Since I'm not receiving the proper heat, I need to direct my personal heated ire on them. All of you should join me! we met Mike in a laundry area at Art of animation at Disney and he was great. There was only 2/6 washers working at the moment he came in to deliver detergent. He asked us if we needed assistance. when we explained we were just waiting for a washer because only 2 were working he rushed over and started fixing the washers and got it ready to go in a couple of minutes. He was so kind and and helpful. He continued to apologize for the inconvenience and offered to compensate us for the washer/dryer pay. I could have not asked for better!! Great man! read more

In my experience as a previous customer, their customer service has been terrible. I've lost over $5 from their outdated machines and they were NOT willing to offer me a refund. I had talked to someone who was supposed to issue me a refund, but I never her back form this person, nor did I ever receive my refund that I was told I would be getting. These machines done even work half the time & they small terrible! Not to mention, these machines do steal money from you. Don't waste your time using ANY of these machines at ANY apartment complex. Awful company! Our machines have been $1.50 to dry and wash. Well one day I show up and now its $2.00. No notification from our board or them! Checking with our board there was no increase authorized! The next day the machines went back to $1.50, but I still was stuck paying $2.00 with NO REFUND! Beware of this company! Had a bit of trouble with dryer it was repaired right away changed off the coils next was the washer and bit of trouble with that it was repaired with a new module back to the service again and just recently yesterday and today brand new washer and dryer brought to the complex with both Wi-Fi compatible to use the app I've managed for 34 years in this complex and frankly that was the first time that we had any problems both Craig and Keith were on it quickly and we totally appreciate the both of them for their good work and customer service thank you to both Benita apartment manager read more

Hands down the absolute WORST company to use! If you have a property do not use this company. They NEVER empty these machines and the washers in my building are useless 87 percent of the time. When people pay rent and laundry facilities are an amenity they should be in operating condition. These machines are over priced and will not even take coins because they're jammed full. I've been having to haul my laundry off property because these morons are too lazy to empty coins. When you call they're apathetic and take literally weeks to send anyone out. CSC Service Works own an air machine (for filling tires) at the UDF store at the corner of Delta Avenue and Linwood Avenue in Cincinnati, Ohio, 45208. After previous times of the machine not working, I decided to try it again this morning (5/5/2024). The machine "ran", as in it made noise, but the nozzle failed to produce any air. I tried it on 4 different bicycle tires and got nothing. I logged onto the website to get a refund and received an error there as well: "Error fetching http headers". I tried 3 times and got nothing. It seems nothing at CSC ServiceWorks actually works. I realize $2.50 isn't going to break my bank, but I think that's how they make their money: provide machines that don't work and a refund / service system that doesn't work either. $2.50 multiplied by thousands of customers can make you a lot of money. If it says CSC ServiceWorks on the machine - go elsewhere. read more
