***DAMAGE TO PROPERTY FROM CSG DRIVER. HIT AND RUN***
CSG towing came to my property today, July 8, 2026 and tried to enter my property gate with their tow truck backwards...yes, The driver tried to enter my property going back backwards. The driver hit my electronic gate and then stayed in the driveway as the gate closed on him... He never made it onto my property past the gate. When I told him that he hit the gate, he said yes, I hit the gate... I said you have to call your dispatcher.
I speak Spanish, and so I told the dispatcher that her driver hit the gate... And then she said, he did not hit the gate...
The driver of the tow truck jumped into his tow truck and sped off and left the scene while I called the Hernando County sheriff to report the incident.
They were dispatched by AAA towing... AAA counted this incident against my towing if you can believe it.
But here's the worst of it... When I complained to AAA, AAA told me that CSG towing had reported that they left the scene because I was using racial epithets against the driver.
This is where we are today... The guy crashes into my gate, he takes off because he probably does not have a driver license... And then he lies about me and says that I was calling him racial slurs.
The way I see it, is that this will only come back to hurt this company because you cannot get away with this type of behavior... I am filing a police report and unless this company calls me and reconciles this matter, and addresses the fact that he hit my gate and it did not function propery after he struck it, I am going to take this liability to the next step... I have already reported them to AAA, and the local police... I will call their insurance company, but I urge anyone who reads this, do not use this company. read more
