I enjoyed coming here until they once again dropped the compensation. I used to make $45 every donation. Then they added yet another weight tier and dropped them all by $10. Sometimes I hit the 140lb weight tier and get $35. Often times though I'm only 138 or 139 which means I only receive a measly $25... It makes me laugh. Not to mention it takes the exact same amount of time whichever tier I happen to hit and I notice no difference in the amount collected. The fact is though people will still walk in. They know they can rip everyone off because there's no competition and people are either getting booze or drug money. My honest assessment. I've been going to CSL Plasma for about five years and love going here because the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable and most of the time you can get through within a couple hours, but if they're short staffed, it can't take longer. I have been disappointed in the past year. The company has lowered the amount that they pay you for your plasma and the bonuses what you used to offer pretty much went away, which it was always a really good incentive to come in for the bonuses because I used to donate twice a week. My wife convinced me to give donating plasma a try so I did. I can't speak about other locations but I really didn't like the experience at the CLS in Medford. My experience was that they are extremely inefficient and slow to move you through the process that you have to go through before you actually donate. The people working in the area where they hooked you up to machines were great. The rest of the experience was horrible! They were really slow and rude. I definitely won't be back. read more

i try to stay a positive loyal customer and so I gave them another shot yesterday and again what a disaster. spent over 2 hours waiting for a bed. finally get towards the front to realize the main problem. not only do the new machines take longer to set up but they also must be cheaply made. they have 5 rooms with 10 beds each. only 2 rooms going because the other 30 units are already broken. plus watched them wheel one out of the red room putting them down to 19 beds out of the 50. (these machines aren't even a month old). kind of hard to run a good business with only 38% of your beds in use. i for one will be trying a new place next week. hopefully they aren't run as poorly as csl. good bye old friend. read more

Staff friendly i would recommend older adults to do this first thing first get a full check up first from your doctor if your beta number is one above 4 they say you cant donate get a check up with your primary dr and dr will send you referrals to get check out deeper if doctor says you can donate fine if doctor says no then do not donate plasma check beta if people get deferred from donate the 2nd time then I would suggest to quit donate all together . it not dangerous to donate if you very healthy .however they have different rules with beta thing all my test came out good healthy i was deferred because of their beta number standards read more

Honestly just for a little extra money if you aren't gonna die if you don't have it I wouldn't do this. The medical staff here feels as if they are doctors and felt like they could diagnose my husband. You apparently cannot donate if you're depressed. Which doesn't make any sense to me? But that's what they told him then proceeded to say you're not depressed you're just overwhelmed. When he brought in paperwork stating he is depressed. But according to them if you're depressed you cannot donate with them. Honestly they get more money for your plasma then you get for giving it. And I recommend not doing it if you can. read more

This is the most unprofessional place. I had a misunderstanding about my medical. And the manager (Angie Stone) deferred me for life. What the "hell" are you serious. I took in papers 2 different times. Like they told me to do. She called me a lier on the phone. And said she had the power to do what she wants. Im in the process of moving states with my girlfriend and I, so I donated until I left. Though it was a long drive from cave junction, the whole experience was very normal (I donated in the past at a different place) The staff is there for you and are all incredibly kind and honestly funny. The employees are always joking or having fun while performing their job optimally, and making the experience more personable and friendly. Some people think empoyees being happy at work means nothing is getting done to the best it could be. I'm glad this businesss is a wonderful model to prove that myth is wrong. read more

Great people here doing a great job. What's lacking is the ability of management to respect and take care of your people! In the current times of a world pandemic these people are going above and beyond to still produce your plasma products. CAREFUL ! If you try and donate and you have a service dog you get yelled at ! Apparently even if you are eligible to donate simply having a service dog with you makes you ineligible ! Not for medical reasons but simply because you have a service dog.... Horrible place. Rude treatment. As i said i was yelled at and treated horribly for having my service dog with me. I was told i could donate even with my conditions but they refused to let me because i had a service dog.. " Well we would let you if that was a GUIDE DOG , You cant donate when you have a service dog untill the time as you dont need the dog. But people with guide dogs are OK ! " NOthing about my medical history preventing me just my dog. read more

There's not really much point in complaining about it - apparently, it's the only plasma center in the area and the next closest one is in Roseburg or something. I IMMENSELY appreciate the fact that they have the electronic kiosks and they use PDAs to scan everything. Their competitor still uses paper and verbal screening; has the tendency to be highly unorganized. Not here. Not in that aspect, anyway. They pay more that other centers, in my experience. On average, you can get $60 a week, for two donations. I don't know why, but sometimes the wait can be EXTREME, even when it seems like there's not a lot of people. Fortunately, they have WiFi. Wow... Okay, one time the staff was cool, and very informative. Then another time, this lady, who seems to have done this to multiple people, stuck me and screwed up, so they had to stick me twice. The other staff that dealt with me, this kind of ugly looking 35 year-old, I hate men type, was rude to me for no good reason. I wished I would have been rude back because she's lucky to even have a job. If you don't like dealing with people's fluids, go work at McDonald's (I'm sure that's all the idiot was good for otherwise). Not again! read more

I started donating plasma for two reasons; one being because I really need(ed) money (I'm not ashamed of this) and the second, because I actually enjoy the idea of doing something to help somebody. I understand how the process works, and how some people actually need that for certain diseases and such. I have always found it interesting. Anyway. I have donated three times now. The first two times were a little unpleasant. I have never even donated blood before. Not once in my life. The first time I had an anxiety attack (not because of needles, i have no issues with them, mostly because I was so uncomfortable, and such a newbie), and blacked out and got REALLY nauseated. It took every ounce of my energy and being to not vomit. It hurt to even talk. The second time the same thing almost happened, but I didn't black out that time. I just felt really sick again. But the guy who was there who was fanning me down and such was really nice and kept reassuring me of my progress and how soon I was going to be done. He was really nice. His name was Ryan. The third time went really smoothly. I only felt slightly nauseated and the guy who stuck me was really funny and made the environment better (his name was James). He told me about his first experience (which, usually I hate when people compare their situations to my own, but it really helped me that time because I was so nervous), and he told me about why my body was reacting the way it does, and that it would get better with each time I was there. Now, about the place itself. All of the staff members are really nice. Really helpful. They act like they actually give a crap about their jobs. They have free wifi for donors (you just have to create a username and password and voila), and they also play movies. As their website and staff explains, they do keep it cold in there. I would bring a blanket. I wouldn't recommend wearing a sweatshirt, because you'll have to half-take it off so they can stab your arm. Overall I've had a really positive experience here. They pay pretty good money for the first five times you donate too... It has really helped me out. read more

Going downhill. They have changed their payment schedule. Now the two highest "weight" categories are getting LESS than last year. Also, it seems the closer you come to getting your monthly "bonus", the more reasons they find to defer you...until you run out of days. Maybe I should've become suspicious when I noticed that the view screens on their computer sign-in kiosks (which NEVER seem to be working) were held together with DUCT TAPE!!! The staff is nice except for the blond girl named Crystal. She has a terrible demeanor & does not belong in Customer-Service. She is constantly giving people a bad attitude and I refuse to go to window 1 when she is working. read more
