I went in yesterday for the first time, very new to everything. All the staff were super nice and patient with me not understanding what to do. The main reason I was struggling cognitively was because of the super loud music. It felt like a club and I got a headache. I could barely hear anyone, let alone my own thoughts. I have ADHD and autism, so I was extremely overstimulated. I also have social anxiety, so I would feel uncomfortable asking someone to turn the music down. Instead of stirring trouble, I am just going to invest in noise canceling headphones once I get paid for my first plasma donation. I wasn't able to donate my plasma, yesterday, but I will try again on Monday. I will have to switch my sleep schedule around because I usually sleep during the day. I had a fatty breakfast (pork sausage, eggs, and buttered toast) right before driving to the donation center, and I had taken my triple omega supplement, which the Internet says is a bad idea. I should still be able to have these things early in the actual morning, and then just have a lean, high protein lunch and dinner before driving to the donation center, as well as drinking excess water, with electrolytes. read more

Yeah, the type of care that I had to get when I first tried to do my donation was horrible that I had to come back three more times to start my first donation. And also what I do see is that there was somebody that had kids in the leaving room and when I brought my children in the leaving room because I thought it was ok they told me that nobody under the age of 18 can be in here, but I seen children literally in the leaving Why are some people getting special service when it's 100° out here right now why can't others bring their kids in in this type of heat but you let someone else do it Lying saying it's a policy but let others do it That type of care makes me really think about not donating no more read more

Absolute worst plasma center ever. Came as a new donor waited 15 mins plus for someone to help up front no one ever came so I had a seat no clear instructions on what to do ended being overlooked and waiting longer and longer and once I was finally helped multiple people who came in after me where ahead of me. They kept saying "there's nothing we can do" as if they couldn't just move me up. Fake sympathy no type of customer service. Horrible first impression. This place sucks. Don't come on a busy day if you're looking to become a donor ruined it for me. read more

This place is a ridiculous bait and switch company that preys upon innocent people who are trying to donate plasma and to get paid what they were promised. In addition, the staff treat the donors like trash and they are also generally rude and condescending. This place doesn't deserve any stars. I went in excited to be a first time donor. I arrived 2 1/2 hours before closing. There was no one at the front desk to greet me. I found the first donor spot and watched the video as expected. No one came around to see if I needed any help once done. I had to ask other visitors to figure out where to go as a staff seemed nonexistent. I finally found a staff member and told them I was a first time donor. They were rather rude to me and told me they were not taking anyone else tonight because it was too late and to come back tomorrow as early as I could. After the way, I was treated I doubt I'll be going back in there. read more

They get the job done. They're friendly and professional. They recently changed to being closed on Sundays. That makes the other days much busier and a long wait was already an issue. Will continue to come here for donations, but watch the timing to avoid waits of as much as an hour. read more

In the short time i was in CSL today i witnessed one of the staff poke 3 people and disconnect on without ever changing gloves. Who knows how many people before I noticed. Most employees are rude, disrespectful to donors. Not sure which other professions that deal with bodily fluids, in this case blood do not enforce or have in the policy to exchange gloves when dealing with different donors. I asked a manager if that was policy and he replied," we have hand sanitizer ." It's disgusting and not professional at all. Why use iodine on my injection sight when there's a hand sanitizer dispenser on the wall.... Needless to say I will never return and definitely do not recommend. read more

The customer service is horrible, when you sign up it takes 4-6 hours for the process depending on the people waiting and they are always short staff. When you are a returning donor be prepared:you are gonna wait from check in process to vitals and waiting in line, till you getting seated 30mins-1hour. Then once your seated you have to wait at least 10-15mins for them to start you. I've been here three times and all three times they are unprofessional starting at the vital area they usually talk to each other and don't focus on the donor, in the back I have over heard the employees speak about the donors and they really don't care about each donor.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLASMA DONATION CENTER TO NOBODY read more

So I've been here a few times but won't be coming back. Don't get me wrong the staff is professional, courteous and caring. You get $100 the first 3 or so visits then they drop the price to $55... what? That makes no damn sense at all. the company they use for your gift/compensation NORTH LANE is crappy as hell app doesn't work. Card doesn't work half the time and no one wants to accept it. I have tried to donate but was turned away because I didn't bring a recent bill that has my name and address (that coincides with my State ID). I went back another day with a bill and bank statement that confirmed my name and address with my State ID. I was turned away because it's not "postmarked." Really? When was the last time bills had a postmark on them? My department store bill is recent as it's due within 10 days! I would actually give zero stars if allowed. read more

Went back again after about a month. The nan with the afro J R i believe was distracting the nurse drawing my blood and the guy wen to deap. I was really enjoying csl over the other plasma place in town. The main reason was because the wait time was shorter. Also, I liked that you can take the survey before coming in to donate instead of having to wait until you arrive. The problem with me is... my iron gets low occasionally. So the last few times I came I couldn't donate because of my iron. The last time was about a week ago and I was given a simple suggestion to see my doctor. That's all she said. She didn't tell me I was deferred for 2 weeks. So I came in yesterday pretty sure my iron would be sufficient but they didn't even test me. I got called in to talk to a nurse who told me I was deferred for 2 weeks from the last attempt. So why tf would they not say that last time before I wasted gas and time coming back??!!!! They take very long . I'm a first time doner so I understand but 4 hours!. They have so many staffs but are still taking so long & There costumer service is very poor I don't recommend coming here. The staff is very unprofessional, they sit gossiping as if they don't have a line of people waiting for about 30min-1hr just get vitals taken JUST Vitals, not to mention to the line to go to the back to donate, then when you go back to donate instead of getting to it they take another 20 mins+ due to them gossiping with other coworker, then when you're done they'll take another 20 mins to disconnect you in all and all you spend up wards of 2hours + when it should only really take about a hour hour and half tops, They need to retrain staff and get organized, I Recommend donating at BioLife plasma read more

When using the CSL app to book your appointment as a FIRST TIME donor make sure to book really early I guess because we made our appointment at 3 and it was confirmed so me and my girlfriend came in and were denied donation because they said it takes too long to do. SO why not block new time donors from coming in late and making appointments on the app, because we drove for an hour to get to this location and wasted gas for nothing. I'll be coming back but still a major inconvenience I recommend an upgrade to the app and customer service. They also said they don't really use the app for appointments, they prefer you call the office which makes no sense to have the app in the first place. read more

I just want to start off by saying that NO AMOUNT OF MONEY is worth coming here. The staff members ALWAYS have a stick up their ass. It's like they're unhappy doing the job that THEY chose. I shouldn't want to leave due to being uncomfortable because a staff member has an attitude yet here we are. And as for the "rules" of the facility, they can't be real rules if the staff themselves get to pick and choose when and where and to who they apply. I've used my phone MULTIPLE times with the lowest volume possible and this old white guy from the staff decided to tell me and another patient to turn it down when I MYSELF couldn't hear it. I told him to shut up and mind his own because the whole time I was there, there were multiple other people not of P.O.C. and not once did he say anything to them. The only good thing I can actually genuinely say about this place is how clean it is. As far as hospitality goes, they are just as heartless/careless as actual doctors lol. I've been going to CSL for a few months now. For the most part it is a positive experience which is why my wife and I keep coming back. But September 17th we came in and expected to be out in 2 hours or less because it's NEVER been over 2 hours since our first intake. It was a bit busy and they seemed a little understaffed which still normally doesn't take that long. Then we saw 1 out of the 2 people that were taking vitals was Kellie. She is a nice lady but every time she's taking vitals she takes FOREVER. She makes conversation with the donor which is great but then stops what she's doing to talk. She'll randomly stand up look around then sit back down. Wasting time. EVERY TIME there is a rush of donors and we are there she gets up and leaves in the middle of it to go to the restroom. On average nobody is in the vitals seats for more then 5 minutes. But on the 17th we waited 50 minutes just in the vital line. We were 5th & 6th in line. She took 15 minutes on one guy because she was having a full on conversation and got told by the nurse she was waiting for her to finish with him cuz she needed to see him. Then of course she went to the bathroom after. And by the time she came back another 6 people were behind us in line. The girl taking vitals next to her was finishing 2 people before she finished with one. We were fed up at this point and ready to walk out but we drive an hour to donate so we didn't. Instead we timed the next donor she had and just as we thought it took her 10 minutes to finish with her. We ended up being stuck at CSL for over 3 hours. Because on top of that they were so short staffed in the poking area that I spent another 50 minutes in line to sit in the chairs(I WAS 4TH IN LINE). While my wife got sat but didn't get poked for another almost 30 minutes. There were bed available to sit but not enough people to poke apparently?? That's absolutely unacceptable. It was a Monday afternoon??? I've seen it more packed then that with the same amount of people and they still go faster then that. As of right now we will still be returning but if we keep seeing the same performance from Kellie and we keep having to wait so long because of being short staffed or whatever we will be stopping our visits. People have lives to get to and can't always be stuck at CSL for hours on end ESPECIALLY if you have to commute there as well. read more
