I took my boat in for fiberglass repair on the transom this winter. The initial customer service was good, repair looked good and the project came in on budget. After dropping the boat in the water and getting it back to my marina I attempted to wash off what I initially thought was loose dirt and dust. Unfortunately the boat was stained beyond a simple wash. I had just polished and waxed the boat prior to scheduling the repair. I'm speculating either overspray or paint dust from a neighboring project was to blame. I contacted CSR and expressed my concerns and they asked if I could bring the boat back for a few days to take care of it. I asked if they could take care of it at my marina in Tacoma otherwise I would have to take off a half day of work and find a ride back times two. They said 'we'll see what we can do and let you know tomorrow'. They never did call back, I reached out again by email and included photos of the damage, no response. After some time I decided to do the work myself. It took about 8-hours, medium polishing compound and a fresh coat of wax to restore it back to how they received it prior to repair. This was very frustrating and way to common in the marine service/repair industry. I chose a top rated shop and traveled outside my area to avoid problems like this. They did not take reasonable care of my boat while in their possession. When I bring my car into the dealer for a simple oil change it comes back washed and vacuumed. The marine industry could learn something.

Great service, competitive pricing, wonderful quality, superb customer service. I had my Catalina hauled here to have the bottom inspected and a new motor and mounting bracket installed, and the entire process went exactly as quoted and planned. I highly recommend CSR Marine and will be returning to have them do more work this year and beyond.

Boat maintenance is never cheap, but these guys do good work, and they go above and beyond for their customers.

One of the first things we needed to fix was the toilet (for the in-laws). We bought an electric toilet and needed someone to install it. We were introduced to Nick from Binnacle Marine from a vendor in the marine industry. The one thing that stood out first versus other marine repair companies, is that Nick is immediately likable, and extremely friendly. He took the time to explain to us "newbies" what he was going to do, how he was going to do it, and then he just made it happen. He was so thorough with the install and so professional. He even cleaned up his mess after and it was like he was never there. That was on day one. With the laundry list of upgrades and minor repairs that we had, he was able to help up prioritize need to do vs. want to do, and has been very upfront, communicative, and informative. I have learned more chatting with Nick about our boat in 3 weeks than I learned in the 10 yrs of saving for this boat and reading about yachts, online. We won't use anyone else. Nick now does ALL of our boat repairs. The guy loves boating and it shows. His passion, his main mission is to keep people on the water and keep them safe by giving them peace of mind through the work he does. We will be recommending him to anyone that needs marine services in the Seattle area. If you want to see his work, message me. I'll try to update with photos (I haven't taken any because I didn't know there was a Yelp page until just now).

I refused and get out of their premises. they blame me for having an aged boat. nonsense. I've been a hostage and can not take out my boat because they have an automated gate that needs the key to open. So I have to pay in front. The next day I made an appointment with Tacoma Marine service on October 26th, 2022. Because they are so busy. After analysis. The problem was the wrong part installed by Allison Marine Service. They refused to refund for their wrong service. So I file a small claim in court. Nov 8th 2022 James Won
