This was my first experience buying a boat so I wanted to get it right. I went to a few boat places all the way from Marysville to Olympia. Some ok they showed me around, but nothing impressive. Other's, yea, I wouldn't go back to them to purchase a boat cover. From the time my wife and I walked in the salesman, Jay, was very helpful. I explained that this was our first boat and we wanted something not too big so we could take it to the lake but big enough so we could take it in the sound. Jay took the time to explain the differences and what we would need. He also did not try to up-sell anything which I really appreciated! Just as a side note, his sense of humor was great as well. not really a selling point but made you feel comfortable, makes a difference when making a big purchase. Lastly, everyone there was very polite and professional (even the mechanic, sorry but I forgot his name, but a great young man)! If they see you are doing something they are right there asking if they can help you do it. But don't get concerned, they did not hover. they knew the right time to leave you alone so you could make your decisions (NO PRESSURE!). All in all, an AWESOME experience from walking on the lot to leaving after the 20 hour service. Yesterday I ran out of gas near Jay Smiths King Salmon Marine business. Anyone that knows the Tide Flats in Tacoma knows that it's all just Warehouse & Business. The nearest gas station not close enough with several small kids in tow. We knocked on a few business stores in the surrounding area to ask for Helping Hand, Jay Smith was our savior that day. He was obviously busy Knee Deep in what he was doing, but he graciously obliged and handed over a couple of gallons of gas with only request to pay it forward when possible. I may not be able to speak on personal knowledge of his business but as far as business/personal ethics I can tell you hands down he's 100% genuine.
