My friend and I got pedicures while my partner got a gel manicure. Manicure came out pretty good but some nails came out too thick and slightly askew. The regular polish pedicures were good but I think there was miscommunication between nails being cut straight. The nail tech cut close on the side of my toe and it hurt but she made sure that none of the others went too deep but they came out fine and haven't chipped within a week like others normally do. After reading the rest of these reviews I can see that my intuition is not wrong [believe the ones from people who turned to 1 star customers after being long time customers]. I came in hoping I could find a nail shop closer to home. I thought I did after my pedicure with Vivian she was so wonderful, so pleasant with great energy. Great massage too! I even fell asleep it was so relaxing. My full set/mani experience was disheartening to say the least. It was with a different tech I didn't get her name. I asked for a specific design, a deep French with cat eye polish. She starts it and is trying to paint the entire nail, I gently correct her and ask for a deep French with the cat eye polish. Simple enough? [[HIGHLIGHT]]No instead she gets up talks to all the other techs in the salon brings over 4 to where I'm sitting and for the 3rd or 4th time I say I want a deep French with the cat eye. With attitude and scoff, she does one nail and shows it to me and asks if that's what I want I say yes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]She then proceeds the entire time she finishing my nails to whisper and giggle with the tech next to her about ME and of course not in English. But it was blatantly done with this tech. Poor service. Anna is a smart mouth, she does a horrible service and gets attitude when you ask her to correct. I was a regular customer until last year. She was recommended by the receptionist in the shop. first two times she did my nails it was OK I noticed on the second time that she missed corners. The third time I asked her to make sure she gets the corners and she got very upset because the Vietnamese women that do nails think they are perfect and don't make mistakes and don't like for you to correct them. Horrible experience. I've come to this Nail salón for years and have seen how they treat others and now I myself am a victim . The lady at the front desk is extremely rude . The owner of the business will scream at people to leave for simply asking for what's right to them. Duyen told me she would not do my nails because she was extremely upset at the manager for not allowing her to leave early . She proceeded to taking her frustration out on me while giving me a pedicure and when I told her it was not my fault she yelled at me saying that she didn't have to do my feet if she didn't feel like it . Got my eyebrows, a pedicure and my nails done all for a reasonable price. I love how they do my eyebrows and is a good price. Wish it was a bit closer to me but I go maybe twice a month or so to keep up with me. I love the atmosphere and prices at CT Dream Nails. They are VERY busy on weekends but they try to fit everyone in. Appointments have priority but walk ins aren't ignored. There's a lot of good talent here for your mani, pedi, brows, etc. but I always schedule with Bonnie for the past 2 years. She is GREAT! Thuy and Tracie are excellent too. Great service all around. Their eyebrow waxing is always nice, but my nail experience was a nightmare. The process was painful and they kept accidentally cutting the skin around my nails. I've done acrylic nails, gel manicure, pedicure, eyebrows, etc all with different technicians. Every one is great and does good work. The place is clean and they offer you something to drink while you they work on you. I just had a full acrylic stilleto nails done today for $25. They came out beautiful.
